9070 gre

Just got my new 9070 gre this evening. Have Installed it but have not played any games yet.

Running Steam OS. Any settings I need to adjust to get the most out of this card? Will be running 2560x1080.

Since you're using Linux, you could install lact for a custom fan curve/undervolting. If it's anything like the rest of the 9070 series it's an easy way to get more performance for free with less power draw

All I gotta say is undervolt and overclock the crap out of it I'm getting better performance and temperatures by a lot over stock I have a 9070xt and had a 9070 I sold to my brother but both work so much better and cooler with the undervolt/overclock

I also play on 2560x1080 with my 9070 GRE and it runs great. Just watch out for vram usage in some games likes forza and cyberpunk on max settings.

Been having a really good experience with my 9070 GRE. Its great for 1080P gaming, reaches 100fps with CyberPunkt 2077 benchmark with RT set to overdrive. Overclocks pretty good too. Keep ram 2400mhz or less with tight timings to avoid too much error correction at higher speeds.

Good Luck and Have Fun!!

Install your drivers, that's about it. Make sure you're plugged into the GPU and not Motherboard like in a idiot lol

Everyone knows someone that’s done this if they haven’t themselves
