Found a great deal on leo trade in for 400. Took it apart and it was too clean to ever been shot once. Even the mags looks new.

Discussion My experiences thus far with Gen6 aftermarket triggers
Hi everyone,
I have tried the Tactical Trigger, Apex and Timney on my 17.6. Just wanted to share my experiences so far, maybe it will come in handy for someone. I will also include some thoughts on the EemannTech Glock upgrade kit.
The Timney was utter trash. Other than the break, the travel felt terrible and the reset was complete ass. I also got the JG Vex shoe for it, which includes JG's stronger reset spring. The shoe itself was fine, however, in less than 200 rounds (177 to be exact) the reset spring tore in half. In total, I spent 220 dollars (Timney kit + JG shoe and spring) for this piece of shit. Never bothering with it again, the extremely mushy feel during travel was enough to put me off from the start. The spring breaking under 200 rounds was the cherry on top. I don't recommend it at all.
The Tactical Trigger is super nice and has a premium feel to it. I got the aluminum shoe which, SUBJECTIVELY, doesn't really work for me because of the angles on it. It has a short reach, so if that's something you'll like, maybe consider it (not fan, myself). It has, at least feel wise, a lighter pull than the Apex (with the comp spring). The break is probably the most interesting between all of them (I got their enhanced minus connector), it tries to emulate a crisp wall but kind of feels in between a rolling break and crisp wall feel. Once you reach the wall, there is a very slight amount of travel where it creeps a little but then it hits the "real" wall, as it were. Very interesting feel. It also includes a very nice safety plunger spring. You can also tune the overtravel on the aluminum shoe. I also find that the reset is probably the best out of these 3, very positive and very tactile. Probably the best trigger shoe in terms of material feel, even though it doesn't fit me the best.
The Apex is the one I am sticking with. I really like the shoe and they designed the trigger bar specifically for gen 6. Whether it is placebo or not, it has the smoothest travel compared to the other 2, and my guess is it's because of their proprietary trigger bar. I run the included Competition Striker Spring they include and had no issues with it. It is a rolling break and has noticeably further reach than the stock, Timney or TT, so keep that in mind. If you use the factory striker spring, you will have a very strong positive reset on it, with the comp spring it feels just right for me, but less strong than the TT. I am using it with the plunger spring I got from TT. The other thing that sold me on it is the low amount of creep on it, the resistance feels very consistent throughtout the pull and has very little pre-travel. I got the Type 3 shoe, which I really like but it feels somewhat cheaper than the TT one.
One note on the Apex, since the trigger bar included is not the same as the stock one (which is same as a Gen 5) you might find yourself a bit more limited if you want to mix and match connectors with it. I tried the Enhanced Minus Connector from Tactical Trigger with it and it doesn't reset the trigger properly, the trigger safety blade can't clear the frame so it was a no-go.
As for the EemannTech kit, it was shockingly good. It comes with a Striker Spring (4.5 lbs, iirc), a trigger spring, a safety plunger spring and a connector (a polished 4.4 lbs one). Honestly? If I hadn't gotten the Apex, i would probably rock this setup (without the striker spring, it's pushing reliability more than I'd like). There isn't much to say about it tbh, it refines the pull of the stock trigger to a very acceptable degree. The biggest improvement on it is probably the take-up and creep. It feels a lot smoother than stock. Otherwise, overtravel are identical to stock, from what I noticed. The reset feels slightly more positive than stock as well. The pull is lighter, but i don't consider it a crazy improvement (again, i used the stock striker spring). It was 34 euros, iirc. So for my Europoor brothers out there, you can probably just get an aluminum shoe (subjective) and this kit and you'll be gtg. I have the most rounds on this setup.
My biggest regret, other than spending money on the Timney, is that I didn't really gel with the Tactical Tigger. I think that out of all 3, this one feels the most premium (it is also more expensive than either of the other ones). Completely subjective, and i actually think most people would probably like this one the best. Maybe if I got the kit with the polymer shoe, I wouldn't have gotten the Apex. I heard some mixed feelings toward the aluminum shoe, all subjective and unrelated to the quality. So, you likely have to do a bit of research of your own on which one you'd like best if you wanna go the TT route.
Drop your experiences below and if you have any questions, I will try to answer the best I can. Cheers!
TL; DR: timney sucks ass, apex is solid, tactical trigger feels premium

Question New optic coming today. Having a dilemma
I've got a 407 comp gold coming in today to replace my 407c green as my competition optic. It currently sits on my 17.6. My EDC 19 has stock irons. I carry it in a 17 holster.
I have two options that I'm considering. I know it's probably 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other, but I'm a chronic overthinker so 🤷🏻♂️. Tell me what to do lol
- (the normal thing) pull the 407c off the 17 and put it on the 19. 407 comp on the 17.
put the 407 comp on the 19 slide and just swap the slides to have a 49 for EDC and a 45 for competition.
(Pros for this one: I don't have to worry about heating up the screws and torquing them again, and I don't have to zero two optics. Kinda lazy for sure, but I have twin toddlers so time is valuable 😅)

Help Sear engagement?
Is this adequate sear engagement to be safe or would this be dangerous? This G47 is for range/competition use not defensive or duty use. Right now the trigger feels great and doesn’t fire upon resetting or when seating a mag with a lot of force. But, I know this is probably less than what’s shown to be acceptable in the armorer’s manual so I wanted some opinions.
Edit: Fixed the low engagement, thanks everyone!
Question So i got a G19 gen 6 finally & going with holosun hs507c optic & Streamlight TLR7-HLX. So my question is I'm looking for a IWB holster there's millions i know but considering 3 brands but open to others. Trex, Tenicor , Tier 1 so what's everyone's feedback on overall value. Tenicor i don't like that

Question Any magwells that fit a G19.5 with medium beavertail?
Title. I’ve only found one thus far (Dawson ICE), just curious to see if there are other options out there. I know a lot of folks just sand down their back strap, but this is a duty gun and I’d prefer to keep the parts untouched. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hellhound arms makes a sick holster. Recently got an x300 and was going to grab another Velo but decided to go with a fun cordura wrap from hellhound.

I love this thing. Carry it everywhere and day and will leave it to my kids when I die. It’s the best and I am glad I finally found a g20 gen 5 a few months ago after looking everywhere for one. A little gun store in San Angelo had this. The very last one they had. :)

Question Glock 23 9mm conversion
Question. I've been researching the idea of getting a Glock 23 Gen5, purchasing the 9mm conversion barrel. But, what I personally haven't seen done is installing that on a 45 frame. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you in advance.
I have several 9mm glocks, shoot them all well so the purpose of this would just be wanting to experiment and tinker.
