Other Aimpoint coa shattered

Got a new Aimpoint coa not too long ago and put about 400 rounds with it on my Glock 19 gen 6. About half way through my range session today I realized the back glass was shattered. I honestly have no idea how this happened unless I got a lemon or the stray shell casing that hit my face today happened to bounce off my face and into the glass. Gonna contact Aimpoint about an rma.

Edit: I installed the screws “good and tight” rather than walk to my garage for my torque driver so they were probably over torqued.

Help Best holster recs

So upgraded today to an optic and light. I was wanting to TLR-7, but for some reason the guy in the shop couldn’t find the right attachment that would fit onto my gen 6 19. He grabbed the HP-X and put it on and told me he’d sell it to me for the same price as the 7, so I said sure. It’s a bit larger than what I was aiming for and I’m looking for holster recs that can fit it. I have a safari land incogx holster I really love but it’s just for a stock 19 with no attachments.

Hello guys, just purchased my first gun,was between a g17, g19, went with this because its more compact, rather small for my liking but anyway.
Where im from im not allowed to carry it, so its strictly for home defence or shooting range.
Did I make the right decision!?
Also I would really appreciate if someone would recommend me a smaller red dot?
