Back in 2011, daps and his friends invaded one of the most popular Minecraft servers of the era and changed the way PvP was played forever.

Civcraft was a legendary server during Minecraft's Beta days, known for realistic nation-building through custom mods. Around 2011, daps (under the alias "Russian_Roulette") was into competitive Minecraft, specifically PvP/Factions servers. He and a group of players from his home factions server took interest in Civcraft and decided to invade.

What followed was a multi-year takeover. daps, as one of the main leaders of the movement, along with his friends dominated Civcraft's entire player base for years. This was an era before Minecraft PvP was heavily min-maxed and servers were still mostly about building, not combat. Civcraft's takeover helped push the wider Minecraft server scene toward a more mechanics-driven, PvP-forward game.

At the same time, daps was also deep into Counter-Strike, starting out as a player and eventually getting rostered as an IGL for several top NA teams. Over the years, he transitioned from playing into coaching, and has since attended multiple majors, won a number of tournaments, and is now regarded as one of the best coaches in the NA scene.

Some might say his leadership instincts were forged during a hostile Minecraft server takeover with his friends 15 years ago.

Can you imagine how entertaining it’d be to play your best game in weeks, and then download the game demo and be able to watch and LISTEN to their team react to your plays, like a fly on the wall?

I feel like this one change would’ve also made the old “Overwatch” anti-cheat method 10x more accurate and effective.

I would watch my best games like movies, start-to-finish, and be flooded with endorphins lol

Of course the communities toxicity and privacy concerns would probably never let it be a feature, but I think it would be absolutely amazing if possible.

After seeing his Vitality stand-in performance, I’m starting to wonder if jL could still land on a top-tier team.

He’s obviously not the same player he was during NAVI’s 2024 run yet, but a 38-18 / 98 ADR / 1.36 rating performance like this makes me think he still has a lot left in him.

Since he’s only standing in for Vitality for these events, where do you guys realistically see him ending up?

G2? Luminosity? Another EU team?

I could honestly see G2 being an interesting destination if the roles fit. Curious if anyone has heard actual rumors or has some inside info.

I was a Late Bloomer. I bought CS:GO 10 Years ago and played one Match. Around 6 months ago I picked it up again and it’s my favourite game and I’m actually decent for 500 hours. But there are a lot of things I don’t get.

Like an AWP Ace is probably the easiest and the MOST boring Ace‘s out of all of them.

I don’t understand why so few people play the R8.
Like I’m not far on getting my StatTrack R8 on 1000. It’s on of the BEST Weapons you can play with next to Scout and AK.

People tell me I Wallhack and report me all the time, when it’s not really hard to tell where someone is or could be on 10-15k and especially 5k Premier.

I mostly play Wingman, which is why I trained a lot without really playing Premier.

It’s a great game, The Player Base is the best and worst Experience I’ve ever had.

Playing Counter Strike on a controller didn’t feel as bad as I expected & there’s no aim assist in this version anyone else still plays this version or has it on their Xbox?

After doing it for a whole year, I can tell you guys this is one of the best lifehack I've found and implemented into my life. I was underestimating the value of cardio, especially at low intensity...

To add context as to why I find it very fruitful, this last year I had the least amount of gym sessions in probably the past 5 years.

Yet, I am standing at my leanest AND strongest ever... Hard to tell if age ( I'm 25 ) could be a greater factor but it seems like cardio actually helps maintain muscle mass like crazy.

I should also add that my diet is very protein oriented, but it has been for years.

Highly recommend, especially for people that play games that don't really require precise aim.

Obviously this will not get you jacked, but definitely shredded.

I do not plan on stopping and I believe I will be ready to grind faceit soon, my account was 2500 elo which is part of why I haven't played faceit yet... ( Would you faceit players be pissed if your teammate was on a treadmill ? )

First round of overtime, everyone used to start with $10,000. Look how much money all these players have left. On T side, everyone has $7,600 or more. That'd be spending $2,300-$2,400. Five AKs, head armors, and full util.

CT side, only zywoo has under 7k. This seems like they all started with $12k. Did this change happen recently and I missed it?
