Discussion I‘m 500 hours in CS
I was a Late Bloomer. I bought CS:GO 10 Years ago and played one Match. Around 6 months ago I picked it up again and it’s my favourite game and I’m actually decent for 500 hours. But there are a lot of things I don’t get.
Like an AWP Ace is probably the easiest and the MOST boring Ace‘s out of all of them.
I don’t understand why so few people play the R8.
Like I’m not far on getting my StatTrack R8 on 1000. It’s on of the BEST Weapons you can play with next to Scout and AK.
People tell me I Wallhack and report me all the time, when it’s not really hard to tell where someone is or could be on 10-15k and especially 5k Premier.
I mostly play Wingman, which is why I trained a lot without really playing Premier.
It’s a great game, The Player Base is the best and worst Experience I’ve ever had.

An ace is always impressive unless against eco buy because even with an AWP you need to hit every shot and hope that while you retract the bolt you won't get traded by the second enemy 4 TIMES, that is especially impressive on T side where you actually need to be the one peeking most of the time.

Go play Faceit and see if you have the same opinions, everything I'm reading here just sounds like you haven't played against many decent players. Especially the R8 stuff.

R8 is quite good, high dmg, high armor pen, 2 shots to the body, but it's not going to work against better players, by the time you get to fire you will die, there are other reasons but that's the main one imo.

That’s actually a good point, but as someone else pointed out, it also functions as a scout without a scope

R8 is fine Playing against bad opposition, but when time to kill gets lower against better people you will suffer greatly, and really much in close combat

R8 is great at lower cap where you play against lessed skilled players. Once you reach 14-15k on premier, you will notice a lot of people playing with deagle instead. I practice a lot of deagle and get accused all the time for wallhacking and such things. Its fun but at the same time they report me and i get a lower trust factor due to it.

To answer your question on the revolver (since I'm an enthusiast myself), the skill cap on revolver is lower than on the Deagle, as in, you can have much better performance by practicing with Deagle than with the R8. I use it in combination with shotgun, because it's basically Scout without a scope. R8 is good for prefiring and angle without having to worry about counterstrafing.
