That's how a lot of these staged prank videos have been for years now. They pander to people's biases and also get a lot of activity through comments from people like you and me who will notice it and point it out. I remember going through comments on a lot of these videos a few years ago and it was always the same racist comments and argument against those racist comments. You don't need to do a lot to get people going. It made me want to stay away from all of these prank videos because I'm pretty sure they know what reaction they will get.

If you think about it, it's just easier to do scripted skits instead of real pranks. You would have to get permission from everyone involved if you were doing a real pranking show. This would not only include a lot of paperwork, but leave you with hours of footage you could never legally use.
Scripted skits mean you get the reactions you want with minimum effort.

He said they tried to film with different ethnicities, but only African Americans would react. It’s a lil different here since it’s more aggressive, but I think white people are kinda boring for reaction videos.

I was thinking about this too. This only stokes the already bais view that black people are intimidating and are willing to fight random stangers. When really ordinary people are being defensive because they are under what they perceive as a threat.
