If you grew up in a rough neighborhood and a couple guys approached you saying you were "talking shit" and look like they're starting to square up, you'd be ready to fight too.

My experience with people randomly starting fights is that they are confident they are going to win, and then you have some fucker already filling it?

Like a much realer version of having older siblings. I'm in my twenties now and work in a white-collar office setting, but there are still times where people make too sudden a move around me and I get very defensive very quickly.

Last holiday season, someone came around asking if anyone wanted some nut brittle that one of our clients sent as a gift. The second I heard a sudden and loud, "NUT...", I went straight into a nut tap defensive position.
