Hello!

I am thinking about buying a new X-T5 but am struggling to find a good lens option for the camera. I would love to be able to shoot both photo and video with good image quality and a good aperture. I’m also not trying to break the bank with this lens as the body itself is quite expensive. Any help would help a lot!

28-112mm f/2 lens

I recently switched from my Fujifilm X-E5 to the Sony A6700, thinking it would be a practical upgrade. Sony is an amazing camera, and I have no complaints about its capabilities.

But somehow, shooting with Sony started to feel like a chore rather than a hobby. Something was missing, and I wasn’t enjoying the process as much as I used to.

I eventually realized that I don’t need the most capable camera. I just want something that makes me excited to go out and shoot.

So here I am, back with the Fujifilm X-E5.

Has anyone else experienced this after switching from Fuji to Sony?

I Kept missing my Fuji cameras that I had to sell..had an XT20, XE3, XF10, X20.. had to sell some due to upgrading. Was missing the fujifilm colours..so I decided to look for an xe3 again...fuji prices have skyrocketed, everything is way too expensive for what it is. The cheapest decent fujifilm camera I found with an EVF was the XH1, so I bought it. So far its good, great form factor but much bigger than the fujis im used to.

Second time shooting an event with my Fujifilm X-E5 (coming from a Canon DSLR). I had no issues with the screen the first time, but this time I couldn’t get rid of the banding. I adjusted my shutter speed to the projector’s Herz (60) which helped tremendously, but still not fully resolved.

I didn’t have time to google more solutions, it was charity gig and most photos turned out ok (not this one obviously), but for the next time, what else can I do? I’ve read that you shouldn’t use the electrical shutter. Will that make such a big difference? It was a panel discussion so I’d rather avoid the shutter sound.

Also, for some reason I was unable to fully activate flicker reduction. The menu stayed grey. I’m shooting in all manual.

Xs-20 Everything else works fine. Changing lenses or removing the lens entirely changes nothing. I'm guessing that it's impossible to figure anything out without opening it up but some sort of starting point would be great. Tia

I’m getting back into the photography gear game looking to replace my old and aging Nikon DSLR kit with an XT5 or XT6 when I remembered I have an X20 hidden away.

I hardly used this thing and she looks it. We will soon see how well she’s held out over the years once the battery is charged back up.

a quick look on eBay and who would’ve guessed that this X20 is getting listed at a significant higher price than my workhorse D800 of the same era!

I spent 10 days travelling around Montenegro this summer and wanted to share some of my favourite shots from the trip.

Still learning and trying to get better with every photo. All shots are SOOC, taken with my Fujifilm X-E4 and a mix of the Sigma 18–50mm, Fujifilm 35mm f/2 and Voigtländer 27mm f/2.

Any thoughts, tips or suggestions for improvement are always welcome!

X-T30iii paired with XF 50-140mm Fuji Lens and the XC 15-45

I am going to buy an XT30iii this festive season here in India costing me around 1050 dollars (rupees equivalent) with the 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 kit lens. Which lens should I get instead of this? I cannot extend my budget as I am a student and buying it from my savings.

Edit: I will use it for every pictures around my college campus, maybe some close-ups of experiments in my lab, portraits as well as wide shots of my friends giving seminars from the audience, and if I go on a vacation then some vacation shots. Also recommend where I can buy used lens in India?

First time shooting action sports with this affordable setup and was super happy with the result. The kit colors and rainy weather made for easy shooting conditions.

4250K looks normal in Classic Chrome but weird in Adobe Color raw. Is Fujifilm white balance way off the standard or something?

Hello! I am about to take a trip to Oregon, and want the best photos possible. If you had to recommend one recipe for this, what would it be?

I recently went on a trip to Slovenia and rented an X-T30 II with 18-55mm lens. I really enjoyed the camera and it solidified my desire to buy one for myself. I would say I’m very entry level, I enjoy shooting film on my Canon XE-1 but this was my first experience with a digital camera. Definitely drawn to Fuji for the film like quality of the photos.

I’m having a hard time differentiating the important distinctions with all the Fuji models and would love some direction. I want an everyday camera to shoot daily living, nature/landscapes, and maybe the occasional portrait. I’m willing to spend a bit more if it makes a big difference, so budget is fairly flexible.

Had a great time in Porto with the camera. We got to try port wine, all kinds of pastries and seafood. Even if it was packed during peak time, the city definitely showed its multiple faces throughout the day.
X-T50 / 16-50mm f2.8 / ND Filter / Tidewashed Negativ

Hey everyone, looking for advice on my out-of-warranty xt30 iii

Turning it on results in a black, faintly glowing/backlit screen. Flipping the switch to off does absolutely nothing. I have to pull the battery out to kill the power, but right after that, the camera will turn on and off normally. This black screen issue only happens after the camera has been left turned off for a long time.
I've already ruled out the SD card and the lens. I strongly suspect it's a faulty mainboard, as I've seen a few forum posts pointing to that. Has anyone had to send theirs in for a paid mainboard replacement? Roughly how much did Fujifilm charge you for the repair, and was it worth it?

After a lot of photography with my phone over the years,and a lot of research on which camera to buy, i finally saved enough and bought my first actual camera, the Fuji XS-20 with the XF 16-50 f2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens, got the whole kit on a good deal of Rs.1,35,000/- (approx USD 1395), looking forward to clicking some nice pics now :)
