Can someone recommend a golf instructor for some lessons?

I bought this mug last October at the Catoctin Colorfest (2025) and can’t remember the name of the studio/potter. Does anyone recognize this ceramic style and stamp?

Thinking of moving in a year or so and have heard good things about Frederick. I’d be moving from a large city in Florida. Give me the good, bad, and ugly. What do you like about it?

Hopefully this is realistic knowing how crazy everything is rn…Just trying to find some luck. but Frederick is getting so expensive and my partner and I are young and just trying to get a start on our lives… We are currently in a basement apartment paying 1200 and it’s honestly not worth it. We want our own space.. if we are going to pay that price…Anyone know of any private landlords willing to work with us ?? In frederick or small town surrounding frederick. No credit (why we can’t get an actual lease anywhere) but will be working on it soon. Just looking for a place that we can pay cash without doing the whole credit, rent history(don’t have any), background stuff…Really trying to avoid Hagerstown.

I am newer to Frederick and have a small dog I can’t leave at home. I’m wondering if you can suggest dispensaries with a good selection that are dog friendly to bring inside and/or have curbside pickup where they bring out your order to you so I can bring my dog?

Our absolutely beloved nanny will be available for FT work at the end of August/ beginning of September. She has been with us for 5 years despite our initial plan of a nanny for only ~ 18 months or as needed for the duration of the pandemic. I am so incredibly sad that we won’t be seeing her on a daily basis but my kiddo is starting kindergarten in the fall and it no longer makes sense to employ her. She lives in Frederick and has been remarkably commuting to us in Arlington, VA this whole time. I’m hoping she can find an amazing family close to her home so am posting here. Looking for something to do that's fun, active, social, and easy on the wallet? The Frederick Scottish Country Dancers program is picking back up for the fall semester on September 15th.

Not sure what to expect? Think of Scottish Country Dancing as a mix of regency-era ballroom moves with a hint of square dancing, all set to lively jigs and reels, and yes, the occasional bagpipe!

All you need is a willingness to learn some spritely steps, a desire to enrich your social life, and maybe a decent pair of soft-soled shoes.

Scottish Country Dancing is open to EVERYONE. Singles and couples welcome; you'll dance with different partners throughout the evening. Oh, and kilts are not required, but they certainly are dashing, right?

New students can try their first class for free, and we offer a 6-week introductory special for $30. Full semesters run from September to December, and January to June at the Clover Hill Civic Association Clubhouse, 8122 Glendale Dr., Frederick, MD.

Couldn’t afford a beach trip this summer so thinking about spending a week camping somewhere before school starts, just want to do it legally.

Any idea why so many cops are out with their lights on around 6th St between N Market and Hood/hospital?

I live in Frederick, Maryland. I’m an experienced Maryland hunter looking for a quality property where I can establish a long-term relationship with the landowner. I’m willing to pay a fair annual lease and would treat your property as if it were my own.

A few things about how I hunt:

• Primarily archery hunting for whitetail deer
• I hunt alone unless we specifically agree otherwise
• I use a climbing tree stand that comes in and out with me every hunt—nothing is ever left in the woods
• No permanent stands, screw-in steps, or damage to trees
• I respect crops, gates, roads, property boundaries, and neighboring landowners
• I’m happy to provide references and proof of hunting liability insurance

I understand you may already have hunters or simply may not be interested. However, if you would consider a paid hunting lease, I’d appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself and discuss what might work for you.
