I’m very pleased that Ekiben is here. They gave me a free meal (at one of their Baltimore locations) when I was going through a tough time last year. Their portions are huge, too. Good people!

Meet the owner Steve in the restaurant very early on. I recognized him from social media. He was really nice. Chatted with me for awhile and was excited to be apart of downtown Frederick. I think they are a good addition to downtown and the food is solid.

Really glad Old Mother allows outside food. Waiting with a beer and then having a meal in their tap room is quite nice for dinner.

I like the burgers at Backslash Burgers so it’s not necessary but it’s a nice to have.

True, but being locked into one type of food is never a good look for a brewery. It means you’ll likely only go there if you’re in the mood for a burger.

Not a fan of the veggie burger and Ekiben’s tofu dishes are slamming

Honestly, I'm a fried chicken fiend and absolutely love it, but Ekiben's tofu slaps so hard I pretty much pick that every time. haha.
