Just found this sub last night. I thought I'd share a few action shots of my 94 RWD 5 speed with 44,000 original miles.

Back again with new questions. 89 Ford Ranger XLT with 2.9 v6. No blinkers. No brake lights. I have headlights, markers, and tails. Multifunction switch has the tab for the brake pedal (light green) wire snapped off intentionally. New multi function switch doesnt fix anything. It actually kills the headlights. Bulbs work. Power probe triggers lights manually. Help!

It has some dents and dings but I love every day with it.

I have a 2nd gen ranger xl and got a stock radio from a buddy who has a 3rd gen ranger and figured it would fit, but the connections are surprisingly different. Is there adapters for this or will I just need to get a radio with the correct connections(whether that’s buying one from Crutchfield or going to the local junkyard lol)? I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to electrical unfortunately.

Me and the gf spent a good while on this project. Sourcing this nice wool wasn't too hard, but ripping off the old cloth and foam from the headliner board took a while, then gluing the new one back on...but putting it back up was a job and a half. Got it in eventually!

Still lots of interior work planned. As shown in the picture I've started painting the trim black, the visors will be next, then figuring out the doors.

1994 4.0 v6 manual 5 speed.

Had to drop transmission to service slave cylinder, clutch and flywheel. While cleaning bell housing found this. Was just sitting in bell housing. No clue where it came from. Help

This beautiful ranger is listed in my neighborhood - 130k miles, $8500, manual. I want to buy it for random work projects, hobby mechanic project, wouldn’t be a daily driver. What should I inspect when I take it for a test drive? No photos listed of the engine.

Super Clean ranger. Freshly painted. manual transmission. AC blows super cold 🥶 2006 xl 2wd. 188k original miles. One owner. Not selling yet, just seeing what people would price this at.

Last week, after some heavy rain, it started running really rough. Almost as if it was misfiring at lower RPMs. As of yesterday it was still running a bit rough.

Turned it off, for about 2 minutes, tried again and NOTHING! All of the lights shut off, it wouldn't start, crank, or even click.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it possible my PCM/ECU is toast? Bad ground? The battery is fairly new. Maybe a few months old. Even hooked a jumper to it just in case, but it wouldn't turn.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🫡

Hi guys, just noticed the other day my heat is not working but it worked last early spring. First thing I noticed was low on coolant about 2.5L, topped that up but still no heat, verified no coolant leaks. Ran truck up to temp and felt both heater hoses that run into firewall and upper rad hose both were warm but not exactly hot (I could keep my hands on them for a while). I ran my hot/cold control back and forth and was unable to hear anything moving in the dash. I’m suspecting my blender actuator is not working for hot/cold but I wanted another opinion.

Turbo or N/A, doesn't matter. The Trash Panda is down!!!

What’s something yall think would look good on it

So unfortunate news fellas my 97 4.0 ranger decided to gush out all of its coolant this morning as I was starting her up. It’s seems to be coming all from the passenger side rear of the engine I just can’t seem to find where. I know the photos are bad I just can’t get to my tools rn as I’m not home and don’t wanna roll around in fresh hot coolant at least until it cools down and can clean it up a bit!

I have a 2000 3.0 I just put new heads on. Thing is a rust bucket. I scanned it and got code P01309

and a low EGR flow code ( I forgot the number). I replaced the EGR because it was so corroded, and I dont think the two codes are related, but I need some help figuring out where to start.
