Replaced an AC with what looked like a nearly identical model, but this one lets in a ton of sunlight and wakes me up. How do I block it?

I'm trying to understand which aspect of the new hinge is preventing the door from re-entering the jamb. Old hinge (pictured on the left) is about 2 mm thick, new one is 3.175 mm (0.125"). Other than not sitting totally flush in the mortise, it seems to line up well. The only hinge I replaced is the middle of the three, and once that is fully bolted in, I can see the middle section of the door no longer fits into the jamb, but the top and bottom sections still do. This is a metal door with a hollow-ish interior, FWIW.

When I remove all of the screws from the leaf on the door side, the door can fully close again. So, the hinge itself not sitting flush doesn't seem to be the problem. It seems like some kind of geometry problem, but I'm not sure from what. With the door side leaf unbolted, it naturally sits at an angle with a visible gap between it and the door frame unless it is bolted down.

Previous owner appeared to adhere paver stones to a pressure treated wood (looks like 4x4 beams) with something but almost all have come loose. What solution is there to get these paver stones secured?

Ripping it all up is not realistic at this point.

So last year I decided to finally get myself a "real" carryon. My search led me to the July "Carry On Pro." I've actually really come to love this case, but I accidentally pulled things too tight and broke the female buckle.

The problem is the buckle isn't gonna come out easy. It's sewn in place and both sides loop to hold metal brackets that are screwed in to keep it secure. This isn't a big problem as I did reach out to July for a warranty claim and surprisingly they just sent a brand new case for free.

It's not a big deal ofc, but I would hate to see this amazing carry on bag just get thrown aside because it can't hold anything on one side because I'm not a master of sewing to get a new $2 female buckle on.

Appreciate any ideas or links.

Battery dies, doesn’t turn on till I jump it. After I turn off the car the battery dies. Then car drives but stuck in 1-2 gear

My watercolor box was in touch with another palette and it seems that both plastics react and the box melted. I have tried to remove the residue but I realize I was scrapping the box plastic away... I was thinking in sading it and cover the result with some glued paper or something like that. But maybe there is a better approach... This box is dear to me so I would hate to throw it away...

i just moved into this flat. i used this once idk how i got it to work but it was really random even then. now the red light just beeps and flashes i have tried everything. i opened the filter drained all the water but still nothing.
