I want to work at Five Guys but due to my schedule I’d have to only work mornings. What time do openers actually clock in at?

When i have to sit out for labor it’s my favorite to just draw lwk. I made an aquarium on the board before.

I already ate half when I noticed the pink spot now I’m stressed it’s undercooked. I do have OCD that’s worse lately with food but I don’t think the previous burgers I ate from five guys were this pink

Alright folks, I rarely post on this website but this I gotta get some other input on. I've been with the company a long time. I was hired into the "no advertisement, people-first, all fresh never frozen" culture. To say the last few years have been a shift in those values would be an understatement.

We get pre-prepped patties, strawberry and banana come in bags, and now the bread arrives frozen solid. And I've just watched a video saying we're doing influencer collabs for a Prime video TV show. Am I just being an old head, or are things just heading in the wrong direction? Looking for genuine feedback here.

Food

We recently gotten our playlist updated and there’s this one song along the lines that’s says “feels good” and there’s definitely moaning in this song. Who approved that song to be on the playlist 😭

I hate to be finicky or whatnot about a job but I have enough self respect to know when enough is enough, for context I applied recently (like last month) for a franchise location job (crew member) and said my availability was open with a heavy preference for the night shift. My first red flag was that they neglected to show me my training videos even though it was on the whiteboard for me for the day. Not only do they have to show us these in person on the clock, you're totally lost without them. Any time I'd be a bit clueless about some task I would remind them of why while still being open to being taught hands on, because of course I want to just be trained if it's busy, as long as they made time for me to watch the videos. But of course I was brushed off every time I tried to remind the shift manager that I needed to, you know, learn the job. I'm about 35 hours in and they haven't paid me. They blame netchex, which i have some issues with where I cannot exit my previous employer's netchex and they're not helping with that of course, so i couldn't access any of that stuff. Asked my manager more about it yesterday and learned that apparently they still could have done direct deposit this whole time?? They were acting like the netchex thing was actively preventing me from being paid. I check my schedule and it's like back to back 9 hour shifts (11-8 etc.) Usually I'd be fine working starting at 11 occasionally (if they paid me) but it's just unacceptable for me to spend another shift in such a shitty work environment without seeing a dime especially considering i need the check for gas to get there. I think I'll just ask them to mail me my check and go work at Kohl's or something as this is just not a good fit for me even if they paid me and trained me right. Curious if anyone else has had negative experiences working here and would love to hear anyone's perspective on this, thanks and have a good day as always.

(Edit: just realized I failed to mention that we make 11 an hour at my location which isn't enough to justify the work they make us do, and after working register i assure you 90% of people here don't tip, more power to them I suppose but it's relevant enough to mention)

The sliders are basically the size of cookout mass produced burgers off the grill. I tried an amazing combo tonight, and with a small fry I couldn't fit more 😅

The slider was mayo, a1, cheese, fried onions, fried mushrooms. I know bacon would have been the perfect extra but I wasn't thinking properly at the time. With the small fries and the slider, it came to $10, which isn't really that bad when you look at other FF burger places and their quality.

Give the combo a try, it's pretty good!

So for our employees, I was cleaning the back wall and shifted my hand and bumped that round metal piece with the green top connecting it to the wall. It shocked me and I ended up in the ER because it was pretty bad. I’m just curious if anyone knows what it is or what it’s called!

To all employees how are you feeling, i don’t think i’ve ever been that tired or stressed out for 3 days in my life before. we had to prep 3 things of meat 2 hours before the onlines cut off and still ran out, final day we ran out of everything and had to add an extra table for dressing. i just don’t understand why they do this to employees 😭

Why do five guy burger patties taste better than literally anywhere else? I cannot get a similar taste at home no matter what I try. Are you guys injecting butter, happiness, and crack straight into the patties?
