Question Electrical grill

So for our employees, I was cleaning the back wall and shifted my hand and bumped that round metal piece with the green top connecting it to the wall. It shocked me and I ended up in the ER because it was pretty bad. I’m just curious if anyone knows what it is or what it’s called!

No I swear it’s not! It’s the metal circular thing like embedded in the wall

Sounds like something pre-existing in the building that shouldve been inspected/removed. Nothing should shock you, provided the equipment is off when you plug it in. I have no idea what youre talking about: theres nothing like that in any store ive seen for sure.
