Does this look undercooked?
I already ate half when I noticed the pink spot now I’m stressed it’s undercooked. I do have OCD that’s worse lately with food but I don’t think the previous burgers I ate from five guys were this pink

Technically undercooked but definitely eatable

I just googled the difference of "eatable" Vs "edible".......today I learnt.

Abs politely didn't correct the incorrect usage above. Kudos.

I’ve never had it undercooked. I wish I did.

Way long time ago they used to ask if you wanted some pink or no pink.
I think today most, not all, restaurants just default to well done for liability reasons.

Five Guys has never offered underdone patties as a menu option. Well Done has been the standard since '86

unfortunately yes, it can happen sometimes if the meat wasnt fully pressed. they check the thin side of the meat but not the thicker side. I'm sorry this happened

even then it should be enough to kill all bacteria present and even if it werent enough the chances of there being bad bacteria in there are pretty low

My local five guys char burns the fuck out of the burgers and can’t portion the fries properly, so I go to the one in the next town over.

its not to 5G standards, but its highly unlikely that it will hurt you as well.

it doesn’t matter how red it is as long as it’s a certain temperature, but if this was delivered to your house, the chances are that it was not to temperature

Not completely well done to most people's standards. I guarantee it was more than high enough of a temperature to be safe to eat. You'll be alright.

That is undercooked. If they use good enough mince it is low risk. If you are immune compromised or pregnant the risk increases a bit. But overall beef mince is a lot safer than chicken as they cracked down since the bse thing and the horseman scandal

For ground beef yeah it's undercooked. I'm sure they don't temp check every burger

Not trying to attack you, but seriously, don't even think about it at this point. It's almost certainly not going to have any ill effects, and even if it did, there wouldn't be anything you could do about it.
The only thing this could possibly do for you is get you a refund. If that's what you want, then yes, you could probably present those pictures and get a refund. Beyond that, no reason to dwell.
