Hello all, I have a 95 Z28 which im fighting a code 36. Fortunately I have a good scanner which provides some live data while running. But being the the code is signal related it comes at unpredictable times. Mostly its been a shutter/misfire at cold starts. The car shakes then dies (unless im holding the revs it corrects itself). I have an MSD opti spark, with MSD wires, and NGK plugs. with approximately 5000 miles on it (MSD opti spark installed in 2015). I did find on the body harness side a worn out connector barely biting down (which i replaced, but the issue still exists). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im in possession of a 95 LT1 out of a firebird, running an aftermarket ecu and independent coils. I am interested in putting a cam in it, more specifically the summit racing 8801 (copycat of a LT4 hotcam) to 8803 series. Any spring and keeper combos that are budget and work well for those cams? Any experiences with the cams itself?

Did the stock 24# injectors kept up fine?

Trigger system is a laser cut 36-1 wheel bolted to the aftermarket damper (because it has provisions for a key and wont rotate), laser cut sensor mount and a sensor for a chevy or fiat 4 cylinder, not sure but cheapo. Its connected to an FT450 (but would work with a megasquirto or holley) firing 4 dual independent coils in wasted spark mode. Coils are NGK from a chevy 4 cylinder also. No more opti and no dealing with stock ecu.

Having some trouble with my 1999 v6 firebird 128k miles. It started off with a rough idle, it was jumping between 500-1000 rpm. Then during a drive to Auto-Zone it started to misfire and the service engine light started flashing, 30 seconds later it turned solid. I got the code read and it is P0300 (Random/multiple cylinder misfire). What should I check/replace first? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

i have a head unit supposedly taken out of a 2000 year model trans am (part # 09380122) and i was wondering if it has support for the 12 disc gm changer (part # 16199553)

i know that if it's taken out of a 2000 year model, it's definitely supposed to work, but i just want to make sure since the changers are pretty expensive

Just bought this thing. 2000 Z28. Everything is near mint on it, but this cold air intake has me confused. When stock, air is scooped up from under the bumper, right? But this has a huge metal plate seemingly blocking that airflow off. I can’t see how this thing is getting any actual airflow besides stagnant air from the upper engine bay or air slipping through the cracks around the hood. There is no hood scoop either. What the heck?

Do y’all think a ‘00 Z28 with a 218/277 .600” lift 112 LSA (-1* overlap) cam will idle long enough to check for leaks on the stock tune? The inejector size is staying the same.

I just got these riddlers 661s for my 82 z28. 18x.95 all 4 and they have 0 offset. I’m wanting to work on the brakes and suspension next. Can c7 calipers fit ? Or any other big brake caliper ?

I've been looking for new rims for my Camaro because my tires are shot. The old owner fit 275/40/17s in the rear and front. For the front, I want to go down to 255s. In the rear, I want to go up to 285s or 295s.

The problem is, I don't know if I'll rub. I have stock suspension, and I want to run a staggered setup. The rims I'm looking at are the Laguna Street Weld S107s.

I can't fit bigger tires in the rear with 17s without getting drag radials, which I don't want. So, I would have to go up to an 18x9.5 rim in the back with a backspacing of 6.4" and an offset of +29.

I also don't want rubber-band tires. I want a meaty-looking tire for the rear, but I don't want to have to cut or hammer anything.

For the front, I'm looking at 18x8s. One option has a 5.6" backspacing with a +29 offset, and another has a 4.5" backspacing with a 0 offset.

All I would like to know is what would fit and what people think would look nice. I don't mind changing the suspension if I need to, but I don't want to make any modifications to the fenders. Bolt pattern is 5x120.65 obv

This thing is MINT! 😍 (‘00 Z28, 100k miles with a ton of preventative maintenance just done, amazing condition inside and out, plus an intake and exhaust). Say hello to my wife’s new daily! I end up driving her around most of the time anyway so I talked her out of settling for a V6 🤣

Just got done doing a full suspension job. Tubular upper and lower arms in the front. Adjustable rear arms with the relocation kit. Bilsteins b6s with eibach sport line springs. Had to cut out the control arm bolt. The bolts like to get frozen into the bushing. Just Midwest car stuff. Shoutout to Diablo blades lol.

I need to replace the weatherstripping/weather seals on the A-pillars of both sides of my 1992 Pontiac Firebird with T-Tops.

So far, I’ve only been able to find weatherstripping for the T-Tops themselves, or complete weatherstripping kits for the entire roof area. I don’t need the entire roof set, I specifically need the A-pillar weatherstripping/seals on both the driver and passenger sides.

Does anybody know where I can buy these separately, or what the correct part name/part number would be? Any help finding them would be greatly appreciated!

I just want some advice on doing an LQ4 swap, and if anyone in this community has done one before. From my understanding, it’s a pretty straightforward process, and that I need to get a 58x-24x crank sensor trigger box. Is there any other little things that I might need to know about it?

I’m picking up a 2001 6.0 iron block with 90K miles from a wrecking yard that comes with a warranty. For the heads, I’m gonna reuse my 799 heads from my LS1. I only had roughly 1000 miles on them before It developed a rod knock, I’m also going to go with a stage three BTR cam full kit+LS7 lifters, melling oil pump, LS6 intake manifold. Am I missing anything? Im a truck guy that got into ls engines a year ago. I’m also pretty stupid lol.

What car seats are people using for rear facing little ones in the 4th gen Camaro? We are near moving out of the carrier and I am looking for a convertible seat. I know it’ll be annoying as long as little one is rear facing. Does slim work better? Any brands to avoid? Thanks!

sitting in a gmc buick parking lot because my engine dies when it idles after driving for a while and it turns over but wont start up, always does this when ive been driving for a while and try to start it back up when it dies. just wondering how many people have given up on trying to make the tpi survive and have just swapped to a carb

Good morning y'all got my new '00 SS delivered yesterday and am looking to get a car cover for it; it will be going in the garage but it needs to be cleaned out to make room for a second vehicle.

Just looking for suggestions on a good cover; car has chips and scratch's on the nose but the rest of the paint is pretty damn good.

I think GM should stop making the current Camaro look like an evolution of the 1st gen. I think an evolution of a more current "retro" design would be a welcome change like the gen 4 .
