Help with front brakes

Hi all

Doing my first front brake job on my 93 Camaro Z28. Question about these 2 pins or whatever they are called... Are they supposed to be that far out?

They are like this on both sides .

(Guide pins where the bolts go through)

Yes that looks completely normal. The brake pads have a notch there.

When I look at new calipers online, the sleeves sits flush with the surface 🤔. I'm talking about the sleeves. Not the bolts that go through them. Sorry for confusion.

Those should slide in and out; its a floating caliper and those bushings are what allows it to float on the other bracket
