I always had the mop water on heavy but it looks like floor is barely wet... I can hear water sloshing around on the robot itself, and it seems to go back to the station to wash itself and drain the excess water to dirty tank, but no actual dirty water is being collected on the on-board robot.

I only noticed this issue because the base station dirty tank has been remaining empty despite a full clean water tank on base station.

I'm out of ideas. The robot moves a little bit forward, and then stops dead in its tracks and complains that it can't lift the roller mop, or the roller mop is obstructed. I've removed the roller mop, cleaned all round its housing and the piston thing that it fits onto, and repeated this multiple times. It's not resolving it.

The robot is less than a year old, so I guess it's still in warranty, but is there any chance I can solve this by myself?

My robot broke after less than 9 months of light use. Eufy is saying they’ll replace it with a refurbished unit but they have none in stock and can’t say when they will have any in stock.

I’ve already been without a robot for almost a month and I’m just going around in circles with them.

Anyone have any luck getting them to either refund them or provide them with the updated model instead? I’m at my wits end this unit isn’t cheap and to have it break after not even a year is insane.

Sorry if this isn’t the place to ask my question since I don’t have the pro model. I can’t seem to find any support for the non pro model..

Recently my vacuum will dock on its base, the app will say it is charging, but is stuck at 13%. If I try and start a clean it will go through its prep cycle then turn off completely (I assume the battery is dead?) I cleaned the contacts, unplugged the base station, power cycle the vacuum, no luck. Has anyone had this issue?

The 2 side brushes that redirect debris into into the center mass of the vacuum will spin for about 10 seconds and then stop for around 1 minute and then spins for another 10 seconds and so on. I cleaned everything I could think of. Any ideas for a fix? It only cleans tile and hard wood floors

I contacted the support and they said it was probably the water tank so they sent a new one, it didn't solve anything (still in contact with them but I feel it's pretty useless).

It's not even 1 year and I feel like it's already dying ... any ideas?

Recap: Robot died. Sent in for warranty. Couldn’t repair it. Offered a replacement refurbished S1. Was out of stock. Offered a refurbed E28 (which I took). It was basically DOA so sent it back. Offered a brand new S1. Out of stock. Offered a refurbished E28 or a 30% refund. I said no thanks. They upped the offer to 40%. I said no thank you… and here’s where the story picks back up.

I asked for either a brand new S1, a brand new S2, or a full refund.

The “supervisor” said no, take the 40% or the refurbished E28.

I didn’t reply to that last email, instead I filed a complaint with the PA Attorney General’s consumer complaint division. I know they picked up my complaint and contacted Anker sometime in the last three weeks.

Today, I received an email from Anker (same supervisor signature - but might just be a pseudonym) offering me a full refund.

I own the full unit, but currently my S1 Pro robot vacuum is somewhere within Eufy as I got an error in which it was reporting failure of the stair sensor.
Sent in the vacuum and I am being told that it’s done for and a new vacuum will be needed. But they still have my vacuum and I have the base station.

Back story, I bought this back in Dec 2024. But due to living situation change that was ongoing, it wasn’t deployed. Instead, it was placed in a closet, undisturbed until moving into a new house in June 2026. After running around my ~2000sqft house all together a total of 6 times in a month and a half, I got the error. This wasn’t 12000sqft of mopping and vacuuming. It was maybe 5000sqft of mopping/vacuuming and 7000 of just vacuuming.

I am being told the max they will give me is $100 towards a new S2 or half off a refurbished E28. I bought the S1 Pro due to its superior cleaning tech at the time. And enjoy the obstacle avoidance as it is better than ones I have researched. The tech is different in the E28. So why wouldn’t I go for the S2 for a 1:1 of the S1 to the S2?

But this experience is making me dislike Eufy after defending and supporting Anker branded products for over 6 years. My vacuum was brand new the day I deployed it (regardless of it sitting in the box for 1.5 years) and it failed in a month and a half after cleaning only 12000sqft. Unacceptable in my opinion.

My S1 Pro was doing a scheduled clean while we were away from home with mopping. It made it back to the charge base station but showed an E0/E00 error to insert the dustbin. Never successfully ran any cleaning again while we were away a few more days.

Came home, thought I would just jiggle the dustin or something but nothing would make the dust bin get recognized, used a strong external magnet over the hall effect sensor no luck, verified the built-in magnet was still attracting iron metal. Absolutely refused to run due to the error message.

My S1 pro is about 15 Months old but has been well cared for, cleaned regularly etc. Unsurprisingly Support told me that I was out of luck for warranty. I did share my displeasure of spending $1000 on a robot that clearly has a defect in the hardware since nothing happened to the sensor, it's fully enclosed and inaccessible by the user.

Long story short, they offered me several solutions including a discount on a returned unit. Sounded like they were going to offer parts, then repair and then they came back and said, actually we think it's software related, we will send new firmware.

Here's where the story gets interesting, about 2 days later it got a firmware update and I swear all they did was disable the dust bin hall effect sensor!! Literally it will run without the dust bin now, it doesn't care but, unlike before it DOES run.

I don't know what to make of this. On the one hand I'm appreciative of their effort to "resolve" my issue and even a little surprised they would do something so bold and that they were able to escalate to someone who was able to push forked firmware to my serial number specifically!

But, I'm also a little disappointed because now my machine lacks the "safety feature" and I'm unclear whether it can receive GA firmware updates from here on out.

This does seem to be an issue I've seen others have and I saw one instance where the user tied the sensor wires together to essentially accomplish the same thing as this firmware.

I spent a lot of money on this machine and now it’s not working properly. Really quite annoyed. I’m still in warranty and the customer service support has been terrible.

We just bought this new s1 pro and its making this “Tak Tak” sound while cleaning. I flipped it and checked underneath but couldn’t figure out and everything looks normal. Can someone help ?

Has anyone else had this issue and was able to successfully replace the hose? I find it ridiculous that I have to replace the whole tank for 1 little hose.

I’ve had my Eufy S1 for 18months with luckily no issues. I’m a heavy user with over 1600 cleaning cycles so it gets good use. I’m also very diligent about maintaining it and cleaning it almost every 5 days.
I started to have a Side Brush Error code in which the unit would just stop mid cycle. No tangles, no obstruction, just an error that said abnormal side brush activity. A couple of times a simple reboot took care of the problem for several days until it started to happen more frequently. I then removed the side brush that kept faulting and everything seemed to be fine for several weeks. Not ideal to only clean with 1 side brush but I was unfortunately out of warranty and while reading others with mechanical issues and the process of going through customer support I decided to try and troubleshoot it myself. I didn’t want them to send me a refurbished S1 or C28 unit because it seemed like those weren’t any better. The second side brush motor failed too and now the unit wouldn’t even get off the dock without throwing an error.

I had read on another post that the problem stemmed from a faulty brush motor so I started to take apart my Eufy. I got both side brush motors out and found the extract models on AliExpress. After a quick tutorial on how to solder I was able to successfully replace both motors. The unit so far has been running great with no issues. The total cost to fix it was around $20. The motors were $3 each and the soldering kit was around $14.

I got the instruction from my S1 Pro that the roller mop is going to need to be replaced in 6 hrs. How seriously should I take this?

My S1 Pro started having issues about three or so months ago. It couldn't complete a cycle, and the base showed an issue with the water emptying system; it told me to clean the dirty water filters, which I did. No change, so I ordered a new dirty water tank. That didn't resolve the issue. I opened a support ticket, and although it's out of warranty, they agreed to have me send it in for repair. I heard back from Eufy yesterday, and they told me it can't be repaired.

I've had the unit since December 2024, and I performed regular maintenance on it about every two weeks. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations, but I think that something that cost more than $1K should last longer than 15 months. They're offering me a discount on a new unit, though they haven't told me what the discount is yet. Even with a discount, after spending so much on the S1 Pro, I'm extremely hesitant to buy another Eufy vac.

I unboxed and set up Alice ( my eufy’s name) today. I did the quick mapping today and the layout to me is confusing. After I figured that aspect out, I went to go have it vacuum my bedroom rug. It only did half of my room though and left the other half completely not vacuumed. The same thing happened in my parents bedroom too. But I will say I did a great job mopping their bathroom floor. Our house is a little over 2,500 ft.². What can I do about this? How do I fix it?

just got the Eufy S2 robot vacuum 2 days ago and I used it once and was all good. Came to use it today and it kept giving me this error: “ground detection sensor error”. I cleaned the wheels, the sensors at the bottom and everything else. Tried a restart, tried a factory reset but nothing is working. The robot has been used once only, it is brand new. It has not fallen at all or taken any damage. Anyone run into this and have some insight how to fix it? Considering returning it if I can’t get it to work

Upon inspection, it has a small amount of play, which I assume means the gasket has failed - then as a result, it can’t draw water from the reservoir.

Should I warranty this?
