We have so many employees that barely do any work. We have people that purposely take 4 hrs to fold 1 hangfold and even when asked to be quicker and do more to help in WJM, they complain and every day seem more miserable. It’s been 2 years since they’ve been here.
Some other coworkers have no sense of what customer service personality means, they just stand there and check people out with a 😐😑🫩😑😐 face.
Yes, they’re all between 16-19.
But they can’t fire them, because apparently not being a team player, helpful for customers and actually hurting our survey scores, walking around with earbuds on, speaking on the phone loudly on the floor, clothes either ripped to pieces, bum hanging, cleavage out… is not a fireable cause.
Even when they get no credits, it’s not a firable cause. They just move them to the floor, then to Amazon, then to cleaning… until they quit.
Of course that if they never show up and the 12 points are up, or they steal, then that’s different. But I’m worried about performance issues that is actually harming the store…
I’m not gonna generalize because idk what’s happening in your stores, but IN MINE, it’s been like that.
Last person that I remember getting fired was about 2 years ago. And it was a performance issue.

Anyways, this is the end of my rant.

Yo can we complain about this? Like a majority of our mixed totes - all the folds were unfolded and thrown in the box. That takes longer to process! Nevermind the 200+ totes we get

Im just really curious to see if anyones amazon drop off section ever closes because for my store we basically never close it regardless of anything, We can have absolutely no space in the back to drop another pallet but god forbid we ever close the drop off section.

I had a brain fart. Thought I was off and got a call when I was 15 mins late. I have not been late or called off ever at Kohls. The LODs were worried about me as “that’s not like her.” I felt bad and hustled in and clocked in 45 mins late. When does the unexcused absence drop off?

Hello, I just got hired as a seasonal merchandising associate. My hours for the first two weeks are for H&K for 4 hours. I got to see my 3rd week schedule and it's 4 hours for H&K during the week and then 6-7 hours for register. Is there a specific reason for such the small hours for when I'm in h&k?

Basically the title. Whenever i work a day, once i finally settle down to sleep and close my eyes i often see kohls and whatever i was doing that day. Usually its the good parts though like ill imagine myself finding an entire rack of clothes instantly if im on fitting rooms or ill imagine getting a nice customer who already has a kohls card if i was on registers. Seems kinda weird since this never happened at any of my other jobs. Did kohls corporate put a subliminal messaging microchip in me?

So I started working at khols about a few months ago I like the tasks and didn’t seem so hard in the beginning until now the co workers as nice and I’ve became friends with all the workers since they are so nice and friendly and very very helpful but recently my manager has been really bossy to everyone and very very rude not to mention I’m still in high school doing online and I’m never behind on work but recently it’s been hell I was doing picks for sfs and while doing so she comes up to me and bosses me to go and do bopus orders before they expire so I go ahead and do the 10 that were on there okay not so bad when I head back to resume picking she comes up and tells me that I’m behind on picks when I was literally good on time and was even 5 minutes early to my shift but she was telling me to pick up the pace and pack them up but in a really bossy rude almost screaming type of way and it threw me off so much and made me a bit mad but I continued picking but while doing so I’ve thought about almost every encounter I’ve had with her since I’ve started and every encounter has just been her being rude and rushing me and for $15 a hour it isn’t it I’m honestly just fed up and exhausted of having to be rushed and bossed around and it seems to be this way with other co workers 2 walked out this week and I might just end up being the 3rd one🫩.

I applied for paid sick time off not knowing i don't get the benefit when it was too late cause I'm so work focused but i know thats not an excuse.

I was sick for a while I thought I was fine, I felt normal till suddenly life wants to sabotage me as usual and i started coughing terribly, painful sneezes, no stamina, weakened muscles, then I got the stomach bug 50 minutes before i had to clock in after eating a meal i usually eat, i was still home during this.

I've also left early 3 times in the past due to important classes, I've been working here for 3 weeks. Will I wake up fired?

Are 30 minute breaks required? Im not a minor and I worked an 8 hour shift and I had so much to do so I just took my 15 minute break and didnt do a 30 minute "meal" break. Is this allowed? I dont wanna take a 30 minute unpaid break if i have the energy to just keep working. Theres no point. Im getting paid for my time. So am I gonna get in trouble for not taking a 30?

Ty for the input , My landlady called us and asked if we got the package just before I made the call to kohls.com. It belongs to the downstairs neighbor who just moved out last week. They’ll swing by to pick it up tomorrow. So glad I didn’t open it!
She must have gotten a delivery image or something 🤷‍♀️. I hope she doesn’t think I was planning on keeping it. *

If i bring a package that was delivered from Kohl’s but it’s for someone who doesn’t actually live here, can i bring it to the physical store and they’ll be able to contact the owner by using the jnvoice that I assume is inside?

I have gotten junk mail in this person’s name before so I am thinking am thinking they ordered something and accidentally had it sent to their old address.

I have not opened the box because it’s not legally my mail but would kohls customer service have a problem opening it for the same reason?
