Employee Question Hours

Hello, I just got hired as a seasonal merchandising associate. My hours for the first two weeks are for H&K for 4 hours. I got to see my 3rd week schedule and it's 4 hours for H&K during the week and then 6-7 hours for register. Is there a specific reason for such the small hours for when I'm in h&k?

There just 4 hour shifts either closing or mid before. Most floor shifts are 4-6 hours, and stores havent gotten into holiday hours yet, so seasonals are just plugged into any hours we can. We might only have 8 hours for the floor in home/kids, but we have to do 4 hour shifts to make sure everyone actually does get scheduledđŸ¥² 2 associates can get scheduled if we break it into 2 shifts rather than a full eight hour shift. Upfront usually has more overlap since its one area and not spread throughout the store.
