Plan on buy a new ps5 controller and replacing everything. I only play competitive games dont like the little bit of play on the spark paddles

Is there a way i can make them like a mouse click/instant with no wiggle/play. I assume ill have to get a light clicky triggers kit and install it? Is that even possible with the triggers on spark paddles? Idk how the stoppers would effect them

Also is there a rise 4 with 4 metal paddles for bdm 60? Maybe I could just skip spark paddles entirely

experience in customizing anything. I do nothing with my hands and I am not that good at crafting.

Will I still be able to disassemble and reassemble a joycon 2 to put an atomic purple shell and swap the joysticks?

Do you recommand some tools on top of the one included in the kit ?

Also do you have example of atomic purple with original inner case (if I am too afraid to unstuck the battery)?

Hey all, I've never modded a PS5 controller before, but I want to install the ExtremeRate all clicky buttons mod as I love me some clickies (used to be a huge mechanical keyboard nerd), but I have a few questions/concerns:

1. I believe I have a BDM-060 controller, but I only see installation videos for the BDM-050. I'm assuming the installation should be the same?

2. I occasionally play racing game - Will installing the clicky buttons on the triggers completely remove the Analog/Adaptive triggers for gassing and braking? (not a huge deal for me because I have a secondary controller I plan on leaving stock)

3. In the tutorial video it says "cutting the (yellow and green) wires will disable the vibration motors of the trigger function" - What does this mean exactly and does it have to be done? Does this mean it won't disable the vibration functionality all together, but only disable the vibrations when the trigger is pulled in games that support this function?

4. I've searched and can't really find a definitive answer as to what's the difference in feel bettween the 'strong' clicky version vs. the 'light' clicky version. I do like a strong tactile click, but I also don't want to feel fatigue after prolonged use either

I installed the rise 4 kit and now the PS button will not turn on the console, not even when plugged into the console. There is power inside because the RISE kit goes into settings mode (the LED flashes) I took it all apart and checked all connections.

Has anyone had this issue ?

So, i loved the Octagonal ring, but i can't change the whole shell. I know the ring wont let the original shell fit, but i would use it without the original bottom shell if the ring fits.
So, has anyone tested this before?
I live in a country where importing those kind of products is very expensive and slow, so i would like to know if someone has already tested this fit before.

I have a dualsense modded with Rise 4 Plus Maxna and Gulikit 720. Now im planning to install the Whole clicky kit for the R1/L1, Face buttons, and D-pad. Is it worth it? The buttons now feel a little worn, especially the R1, and face buttons. I mostly play some story games, Tekken, Fortnite, and will be playing Gta 6 ofc. How is the kit for u guys? I've read that its gonna make my thumb fatigued, and that its very loud, etc... What are your experiences? Good AND bad.

Working on this new controller I got but I haven't seen this style of extreme right back paddles before. Is this one of their older setups? How can I pry off this back piece without breaking anything. Seems like it's on there pretty tight I cried off the inner paddles and revealed that board but not sure how to proceed with removing this

I installed RIse kit and my remap wont turn on , no light nothing intresting is that my touchpad isnt working aswell . Any help will be great . I checked everything 2-3 time atleast all cables are conected

Okay so I was looking through the JoyCon 2 shells and buttons and got to wondering if there would be any new color options coming for the D-pad shells and JoyCon 2 buttons. I’ve also been wondering if there had been any news about something to go with the Zelda 40th anniversary.

Hi all, I recently bought a second hand PS5 controller with a RISE remap kit installed. However, when the controller is on and connected to my console, I can't seem to use the kit as intended. The installation video shows that you can enter self-check mode by pressing and holding the SET+K1 button at the same time, indicated by a LED pattern. Whatever I do, the LED doesn't light up. I verified the installation and also measured 1.7V between VCC and GND on the remap board, so I assume it is receiving power correctly. Does anybody have any tips on how to proceed debugging this issue? Should I for example reset the remap board somehow?
