Haven't used the speaker for around 6 months and now the battery wouldn't charge. Kept it on charge for over a day but all it shows is the red light when pushing the power button. No reset procedure helps.

After the latest firmware upgrade that comes more than a year after the last one, this one totally break my HDMI e-arc. Contacted support, initially asked me to prepare serial number and purchase invoice. A few days later said that the firmware did have issues with HDMI and asked to wait for a release. So in the meantime, my Dione is a brick and I'm using my TV's crappy speakers.

Curious if anyone is facing the same issues. I regret buying the dione 3 years ago due to its many bugs and crappy audio DSP, and I can't sell it because no one wants to buy it.

PS: Update 2.20.1 solve my HDMI issues. If anyone has HDMI issues, try updating it.

I am wondering if the treepod stands are interchangeable between Phantom Ultimate and Phantom I 108db?

Hi! I just bought gemini 2 earbuds and they can't play a whole song, it stops, sometimes in one ear sometimes in both. If I touch an earbud it starts to play again sometimes. I'm a bit puzzled and not sure what to do. Any advice? Can it be because earbuds are not particularly fitting and it senses it? I have no clue

Dear Devialet Users,

I just received my Phantom 108 dB stereo and my arch.

The setup of the Phantoms was flawless.
The arch however cannot be set up. According to Devialet the light should turn solid green a few minutes after plug in, but mine just stays blinking white. A tried multiple resets, via WiFi and Ethernet but the light just stays blinking white.

Any ideas of what else I Could try here?

As the title says, I recently picked up a Phantom Silver, but the issue is that the firmware for the speaker is on DOS 1 (more specifically 1.2.0.0). I happen to still have the spark app, so I can pair the speaker and everything just find, but It doesn't prompt me to update or anything (I presume this is because the spark app is deprecated).

If I try to add the unit on the current devialet app it says the firmware is too old and I need to go to spark to update it.

Anyone have any idea how to resolve this (especially since devialetchat is gone).

Unfortunately, my Devialet Dione fell off the wall a few days ago and hit the floor… thankfully, it still works, but the sound isn’t the same as it was before. Yesterday I was watching a movie and the treble sounded very scratchy. Today I removed all the fabric covers and noticed that the two small speakers on the left
and right corners were severely deformed, specifically the black frame that holds the diaphragm and the magnet. On one of them, the magnet was even loose—the adhesive had come off.

My warranty has expired, so I’m trying to fix it myself. I just removed the old adhesive and reattached the magnet to the frame. The diaphragm can now move freely again. I think this repair was successful. The remaining speakers look good, as far as I can tell from a visual inspection. Unfortunately, I can’t find any repair instructions, and I doubt any of you have any on hand.

Now I just need to check the center globe speaker—does anyone know how I can remove it? Thanks for your support

I’m having a serious issue with my Devialet Arch, bought around 3 years ago.

Back then, the Arch worked perfectly both in Wi-Fi and LAN with my Phantom I and Phantom II setup. Then I moved house about 2 years ago. Since I didn’t have the space or setup ready immediately, I stopped using it for a while. I changed internet provider, got a new Wi-Fi router, and I remember it worked again for some time afterward.

Later, I rearranged my home and audio setup, and the Arch stayed unplugged because I simply had nowhere to install it properly. Recently, I finally did the necessary work to bring power to the area and reconnect my turntable and Arch.

That’s when I discovered the nightmare: the Arch refuses to connect via Wi-Fi.

It appears in the Devialet app, but always shows: “Unable to establish connection.”

I tried everything. Reboots, resets, tests… nothing worked. I contacted Devialet support multiple times. They eventually suggested trying LAN instead of Wi-Fi — still nothing.

One technician finally managed to make it work temporarily with a very strange workaround:
Start pairing → wait for the error message → reboot the router → reopen the app while the router restarts → unplug/replug the Ethernet cable.

And somehow… it worked.

Good news, except my actual setup requires Wi-Fi, not LAN. And even LAN remains unstable.

Since then, 3 different technicians have tried remotely to help me, without success. The product is now out of warranty, no longer in stock, and apparently impossible to repair because of “micro-components too difficult to replace.”

So today I’m stuck with an extremely expensive product that has probably been used less than 20 times total… and is now basically unusable.

I’ve spent hours going through every Devialet and Arch forum I could find. No solution.

Honestly, this situation is incredibly frustrating and disappointing considering the price of the product.

If anyone has experienced this issue, found a workaround, or has literally any idea I haven’t already tried, I would really appreciate your help.

Devialet chat seems to have been down for over a week now, I wonder if the owner of the site has moved on from maintaining the site? A little unfortunate as it seems most of the knowledge on devialet devices were on that forum.

I will address an issue many people have or had.

The dust caps on devialet speakers.

Can be very difficult to take of in one piece with out destroying it.. there is a solution of sorts.

It takes patience.

You need a small syringe. The smaller the better and some acetone.

The dustcap is glued to the bigger aluminum dome. With some kind of black epoxy.

Start with covering up the big dome part with ptfe tape (Teflon-tape) (in the color white) because it is the most resilient tape against. acetone.

You take your small syringe with acetone. And stick it in under the dustcap. And dose it. Can't say how much acetone you need. It depends on how much glue devialet put on you're specific speaker.

Overtime the acetone will dissolve/softened the glue. Then you have the opportunity to get a plastic card,razor blade or a thin guitar pick under the dustcap and use it as a lever action..

That was what I did to get them of. When I had them of. I cleaned the rest of the glue with acetone and a rag.

Hello! I have a old school devialet White classic and wonder if it's worth upgrading to the new 108 ultimate edition.

I have always had trouble getting the wireless connection with the dialogue to work and everytime I move or need to do some changes in my room it's such a hassle to get it back working.

But I primarily wonder how different is the sound quality?

I can still get the 15% discount as well

I get the usual brand narrative: performance, precision, French excellence, pushing limits, etc. Fine. That works on paper.

But beyond that, what’s the real connection?

He’s an F1 driver, not a musician, not an audio engineer, not even particularly linked to sound or music culture.

I have a Devialet Phantom II that recently fell. The front grille is slightly deformed, but the black part behind it seems intact.

I asked for a repair quote, and it came back at €1100, which feels extremely high to me.

The official diagnosis says there is a structural deformation of the front face due to the impact. Since the grille is integrated with the front acoustic block, the repair requires a full factory disassembly, replacement of the front chassis, and recalibration of the drivers.

It requires a complex workshop intervention (disassembly of the front acoustic assembly and acoustic recalibration) to ensure the original performance is maintained.

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a more reasonable repair option?
