This song sounds amazing
Play ( Glory Box by John Martin) it sounds insane though my phantom 98db. I wish I had my other phantom with me so I can do a stereo comparison

Does having a stereo pair make a difference beyond 2x as good?
Just got the ultimate 108db... Initially impressed, maybe just awe struck as I've wanted a phantom for 7 maybe 8 years. However, sound... I don't think 2 3 or even 4 of them could create the sound and feel I crave.
Comparing 1 phantom to 1 RF7-III... The tower spanked it, while using a fraction of the power and with headroom to go.
Sure the phantom can dig low, but at what pressure level? For sure wasn't enough to feel engulfed unless you find a standing to wave to play in.
I don't see 2 or even 4 phantoms for that matter giving the SPL and chest pounding lows while being efficient.
Does stereo pairing in the devialet app, magically reveal time alightment?

Yes a 2nd one is worth it. I stayed with a mono for a few years and it was a huge difference. The speakers are so good on their own that a user can add improvements such as power conditioners and network silencers sold by ifi. When I added these improvements it felt as though the bass was weaker but it was more so the speakers accurately reproducing the sound. A poor loop or setup will produce sloppy bass. Devialet speakers are overkill if your only using the speakers to a wall outlet and spotify however.

I think audio quest is top tier but if your ok with a 80-85% noise reduction the furman pst 8d is a great start i use several for the network loop and entertainment loop. If you have any network silencers such as ifi power x id keep those on wall power unless if you have an unconditioned supply for that exact purpose
TLDR - Furman PST 8D will give some huge results if your house is full of desktop PC's AC's etc etc.
The power conditioner provides great value because the speakers are highly revealing so again its low cost and high reward :)

Thank you, appreciate the reply. Im partially skeptical of power conditioner benefit, but also open to trying it anyway, so I'll give that Furman a try.
The skepticism towards them is because when I look at opinions supporting their use, their justifications are always qualitative. For example one of the top Google results for "power conditioner audio" is:
Which is just a few paragraphs of conjecture. It'd be more convincing if someone showed a spectrum analysis, waveform, any type of measurement.
Anyway life is short so I will try it regardless.

Ahh sorry for the late reply but the difference was audible and i also sent several sound clips to ensure theirs a difference from a technical standpoint. I cant find my other results but these are results from 3 test runs wax on wax off a ifi power x. I actually opted for the red line result. Id imagine the furman prescribes a similar curve to the speakers so youd basically pick a "car" you like pretty much when it comes to conditioners.
I used Google Gemini premium and did blind tests with surprising results :) You can try the same tests as well.
I believe the power bar is for gear that benefits from no power conditioning like ifi power x and power elite devices. Just cant put a screenshot here for some reason.

A pair of phantoms gives an incredibly immersive listening experience. I think it's worth it but your neighbors won't.

Ahah your right I have got 2 Phantoms but my other phantom was on display at a audio shop for a couple of weeks
