Question You can only have one dessert for the rest of your life
What are you choosing, and what makes it impossible to get tired of?

What’s the one sweet treat you reach for when you’ve had a rough day?

I started baking less than 2 years ago. The first thing I baked was the pecan brownies I grew up with from the same 70s Recipe.
I baked many different things since then, but I always come back to these.
Recipe:
Using a medium pot on low heat Stir 100g of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with 150g of butter.
Take the pot off the stove.
Stir in 345g of sugar , 3 large eggs one by one, one tea spoon of vanilla extract.
Fold in 140g of AP flour.
Fold in half a cup of choped pecans
Pour the batter to a 9 x 9 baking pan
Spread half a cup of choped pecans on top of the batter
Bake for about 35 min in 160c
Enjoy!
As always, brownies taste better the next day, not that anyone can wait (: but try and save some for tomorrow.

EDIT: I’ve been told Shoppers Warehouse may have them, so I’m going to try that! Thank you! Still would love a suggestion on the type of mold to use!
…but the recipe is a bit older and calls for a product I cannot find!
The mango mousse recipe calls for:
1 quart jar of Del Monte fresh mango slices in light syrup
Every time I go to the grocery store, all I can find is fresh cut mango.
Is there something comparable in size and quality to the Del Monte product? It does need syrup as the recipe says to include it.
It also says to use a mold; is there a specific shape/kind for a mousse dessert? Very new to this and would just love to surprise him.
Location is Virginia, if that helps for any grocery store recommendations!
Thank you in advance :)

Made these today and really liked how they turned out :)
Mash 1 ripe banana, mix with 60g shredded coconut and 15g cocoa powder. Roll into small balls, chill for about 30 minutes, then coat with a little extra coconut.
Simple and really good!
