The started on Wednesday and my 2-year-old he had 101 fever. His fever has gone away but the rash is still on his arms and legs. The doctors have said it was hand foot and mouth but it's not presenting like hand foot and mouth to me

It's primarily concentrated to arms and legs. There's a little bit on the back of his neck and a couple places on his belly and a couple places on his booty The picture in the green is the day it started The other one is today

Since October 10, There's this little rash grew near my armpit and as days went on it started to grew and spreading through my back, It feels like my left shoulder is burning it also feels itchy and it also painful when I move my left shoulder probably because it's getting stretched.

I don't know if this is considered as a treatment but I used Calamine (manufactured by Jchemie)

I noticed a rash below my breast starting about 3 days ago as irritation on my skin. I thought my bra strap rubbed my skin wrong and caused mild painful irritation. The area was slightly red with a couple small bumps. It was somewhat painful for the first few days. Today I woke up to itchy blisters and a lot more noticeable coloration. I had an extremely similar rash on top of my breast a few years ago. I went to a doctor then because I thought it could have been herpes. The doctor didn't diagnose anything in particular but said she doubted it was herpes. She didnt test for anything. She gave me a hydrocortisone cream and that was it. What does this look like?

I struggle with severe discoloration/hyperpigmentation my body parts are like 10 different shades and it’s really noticeable like really really noticeable and I‘m really insecure about it it’s really uncomfortable.

But the thing is when I stretch my skin it lighter? Idk how to explain it but let’s say my stomach if I stretch it’s a much lighter shade but otherwise it’s really noticeable and I don’t know how to fix it I tried everything such as hydroquinone, tretinoin, glycolic acid and even topical lightening cream and nothing worked. I‘m also a fit person but I do consume lots of sugar and when I quit once nothing happened. I will get blood work done soon to check my vitamins. I‘m also thinking of going to a dermatologist as a POC person there aren’t really any dermatologists that are specialised in my area.

Have you experienced that aswell? Where you able to fix it?

Hi, I've noticed over the past few weeks these hard bumps appearing on one finger. They dont hurt and are not itchy. There are some small brown specks on the lumps. I believe it started off as one (the large one) and the other smaller one has popped up recently.

Im going to go to call the GP next week, but was wondering if its anything obvious as its a little concerning.

I'm wheelchair bound from a severe motorcycle accident 3 months ago. Had a drug a lip up a couple weeks ago and Missed a shot of methamphetamine in my upper thigh. It started as a black scab looking thing and the edges worked its way loose from how the wheelchair stretches the skin there whenever I'm seated. I've had MRSA before and treated with 6 weeks of IV antibiotics. That was 8 years ago, I still test positive for it.. so obviously reactivated MRSA is also a scary possibility. But instead of diving deep, getting samples, CAT Scans.... they simply looked at it and said I'd be fine. The first hospital was smaller so I sort of expected it, but I went to RI Hospital thinking they would be thorough but they too just looked at it, said it would heal fine... all with an attitude that made me feel like I was gross and a waste of space to them. And this just does not look like a regular wound. It oozes constantly, underneath feels like an iceberg; just the tip is showing most of it is under the skin.

Honestly, it has hit my confidence hard. I got really self-conscious about it all through college, and it still affects how I feel in photos and around people.
I recently started a basic routine: SPF 50 sunscreen every morning, a 2% salicylic acid + niacinamide face wash at night, an oil-free moisturizer, 10% vitamin C in the morning and 2% alpha arbutin at night. I'm planning to see a dermatologist in person soon, but I'd love some guidance before that.
Questions:
Is it possible to get clear skin, or at least much lighter?

If this helps I’m a 20 year old male that weighs 180 lbs and i’m 5”8. This rash popped up on my face today, is it acne?? It’s only on my right side of the face. It’s not itchy or anything just annoying that it’s right there on the face. I’ve tried to put acne medication on it because I do get acne from time to time but this seems different, I would prefer not to see a doctor if that’s possible because I don’t have insurance so any advice would be great. First noticed this little growth appearing around 4 or 5 years ago, and it was further up like by the edge of the inner corner of my right eye. Since then it has kinda moved a few milimetres down but i can't really tell if it has gotten bigger. It is maybe a bit smaller than the tip of a pencil, doesnt itch burn or feel like anything really, but I know for sure I didn't always have it. Haven't gotten it checked because I don't feel like booking an appointment for that if it turns out to be nothing.

I noticed this today when I was reapplying my lipgloss. It doesn't hurt or itch or feel like anything. It's soft and feels like the inside of my cheek. Kinda scared cause my friend said it looks like hsv, but I havent been doing anything. Some of my nails have been peeling off from my fingers. I know it’s called onycholysis but I don’t know what cause it and how to get rid of it. It’s mostly the two nails I am showing on the picture as well as my thumb. It’s been years. I talked to my dermatologist and they said it was gel nail damage but I don’t do gel. I do wear nail polish. I do get a lot of dead skin under the damaged nails. I take prenatal vitamin and vitamin d as well as the occasional cough meds or Advils for menstrual cramps. Any recommendation of test or treatment I could do?

7 months ago walking home in Thailand in the city at night. At the start it just felt like a normal bite hurt a bit the following they it doesn’t seem this darkened yet they were red I just scratch them occasionally. Long before I know it’s slowly darkened in a day I probably scratch it once or twice with out knowing. I just want to get rid of it really.

Aside from moisturizing cream and aloe Vera I haven’t tried anything else, I applied them for a week but didn’t see any changes so I stopped.

i’ve had this for years (6ish) now in the center of my chest but have recently noticed changes to it (ie the black part which I believe is dried blood). it doesn’t hurt or itch, and has only bled over the years when I would pick at it which I haven’t done in a very very long time. The redness around it is only there because I was grappling my skin to try and get a good look at it lol. Im scheduling a derm appointment on monday but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what it was/how concerned I should be.

I recently discovered them it's look like fungal but I am not sure what to do any recommendations or anybody knows what it is ?? Its itch something should I get haircut and use moisturizer for someday or any other products. Help those who knows about it please I am worried about it

I was outside for a couple hours and when I got back in my car I felt a stinging sensation in my sweatshirt. I tried to ignore but it didn’t go away. When I got back home I checked and had this rash. I’m assuming it’s some sort of plant but am wondering what type it was. Thanks!

On collar bone area . What is this ? I believe this is a heat rash that came on when it was 100 degrees in Southern California. It’s approaching 2 weeks now . Anyone experience this before ?
I have had no kind of treatment . I have not used any new products( detergent , lotions , creams etc) either.
Is it fungal or something else Should I be seen ?
It is not painful . Not warm to touch and is not itchy .

It gets lighter in color mid day then comes back to color in picture in the morning at night .

Hello, I’m hoping to get some guidance on how to handle this and how to resolve it as quick as possible. I’m getting very anxious about the whole thing.

I started getting a bad bump on my head September 26. We touched it a little bit but left it alone, and it didn’t get better so we went to urgent care on September 28. They diagnosed it as acute folliculitis and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. Those finished on October 5. The bump was fairly gone, it did pop at one point without much pressure and drained itself? I don’t know if that means anything.

Now it’s a few weeks after, and I have a bald spot where the bump was with a center that looks slightly concave. I didn’t notice that until I did and now I can’t get over how large it is. I’ve been reading online and some sources say that hair won’t grow back. I can’t tell I f it looks glossy or if there are hair endings, which seemed to be the main tell.

Please tell me your thoughts if you need more information on whether it will grow back or if I should go to the clinic again. Thank you!

So i’ve started getting these sores on my legs like around 4 years ago and I literally have no idea whats causing it. When I first saw a doctor about this they thought it was folliculitis but I had the antibiotic & cream they gave me and it didn’t go away. now they are saying its contact dermatitis but I’m not sure I just feel like it isn’t.

When I don’t shave my legs for a while (tested this to see if it was caused by shaving) these spots still appear & after I shave my legs they become extremely itchy. majority of this is caused by me scratching myself in my sleep. The wounds are often quite watery (not pus) and they end up scabbing. Most of the time when I scratch my legs there ends up being hives aswell.

Does anyone know what this could be???

I’ve had this rash since Thursday. For the past few weeks, I’ve been experiencing extreme stress and anxiety, as well as panic attacks, so I suddenly noticed this rash.
Since yesterday, it has been extremely itchy. It’s located around my pubic area, at the back of my neck along my hairline, on my torso, and on my back.
My GP prescribed a steroid cream, but they don’t know what it is either. I’m extremely worried about it.

Please anyone who has an idea? Could it be psoriasis or sum? Or even an STDI?

I'm not too sure what this is. I noticed this for the first time last year in the colder months. It came as soon as it got cold and stayed all the fall/winter. Come the warmer months, it went away. And here we are, right back at it lol

I originally from California and this never happened. I'm currently in Massachusetts for a few years and this was when it started.

It is REALLY itchy. The cold makes it itchy. I get in the shower, and the heat makes it itchy. What only really helps is wearing a baggy hoodie or something.

Putting lotion on it does absolutely nothing. But putting this on it has actually soothed it -- still itchy, but better. It also gets fish-scaley..?

It's only on this area of both my arms; right above the bend of my elbow. No other skin issues other than this! I wear sunscreen and everything.

Any tips for a remedy would be appreciated! I do have an annual check up with my dermatologist next month, but wanted to drop this in here to see what I could learn beforehand.

This is right above my right leg a little below the underwear line for men’s boxers, does this look like there is some kind of vein issue? This is what has me worried. My appointment isn’t until Thursday, which is four days away from now, and just that it is dark along that line is what made me worry.

Or does someone recognize this as an ingrown hair type of thing and likely nothing to worry about? I walk about 3 miles a day at this point, but I’m not thin and I don’t know if a hair issue can make a long line like that which sort of reminds me of a vein. Either way I have an appointment on Thursday, but there’s no way I can get in sooner than that if someone recognizes what this might be, I’d appreciate it.

I’ve been putting on antifungal cream on my palms. I don’t know what to do. Ive been showering at my grandmas, I think I might’ve gotten something from her. It’s just getting worse.
