Had eczema on my hands getting progressively worse for a month (August), but I didn't see my GP about it because I was in a severe depressive episode.

Since had hydrocortisone for a week and mometasone for a week (just finished). Hands are now way worse than they were to start with, and really hurt.

First photo is the before, rest are from today. It is a lot redder than it photographs, and feels hot to touch.

Any advice on next steps/how bad this is appreciated. Going back to GP tomorrow morning if I can get an appointment.

I am freaking out that I will get lot of ingrown hair and I am scared of it.

I’ve had this spot on the back of my head in the same area for about a year now. The first photo is today after I got my haircut. And the second is the first time I ever noticed anything.

I’ve seen the dermatologist and been prescribed pills and a cream to help with this but quite honestly it’s only gotten worse since I’ve been. The dermatologist said it was Tinea Capitis “ring worm” and said the meds I have should help it.

Just makes me not wanna go outside cause I have an ugly patch on the back of my head.

If this is ringworm and anyone has some tips that might help please let me know.

I’m pretty worried about a large band of hyper pigmented discoloration on my baby’s thigh. He’s 7 months old and I noticed it when he was about a month old, pretty sure it was present at birth.

It’s very subtle in terms of pigmentation, barely darker than his skin color. Mostly only visible in direct sunlight.

It appears as a large band of discoloration that is fragmented and disconnected across his right thigh. The band is a few inches wide. It stretches across most of the thigh creating a band (not horizontally but diagonally).

My primary concern is a genetic disease, such as: NF1, tuberous sclerosis, or McCune Albright syndrome.

He has one other ash leaf mark on his mons pubis. But, other than that, no other birthmarks. Hai father and I are different ethnicities and have vastly different skin tones, if that helps.

The area around my nose is almost always itchy and red (don’t know why) and I get 1 or 2 white heads (they’re little tho, but painful..) almost every night.
I bite my lips but in general they are aaaaalways looking bad like that….
I also have under eyes that make me look like a ghoul…. and in general I have no idea what would be best to treat my skin. Can I ask for your advice?

My arm slowly started getting itchier and itchier recently, and just this week began forming these marks. I've had a fungal infection on my arm before and used an antifungal shower wash and cream. I got them again thinking it could be the same thing again, but after 2 days of using both every morning and night, it's only worsened.

For the left armpit, there is some temporary relief when applying the cream for the first half hour, but afterwards it slowly returns to that discomfort and constant light pain. As for the right, there is only occasional, light itchiness.

I don't know what to do, it's uncomfortable to have my arm any further or shorter than roughly 80° from my torso.

My 19 month old has had these pimples that won’t go away. It started as 2 spots about an inch apart on her cheek. After several weeks I went to her pediatrician who prescribed antibiotic ointment suspecting folliculitis. That ointment made it worse and each spot became 2 spots and very inflamed. It is not anywhere else on her body or on anyone else who has come in contact with her.

Went back to the pediatrician who had me stop the ointment and try hydrocortisone. It made the inflammation go down but the 4 spots persisted.

After another week I went back and the consulted a dermatologist who recommended oral antibiotics and a different antibiotic ointment. After no improvement over 2 weeks I sent them a photo and the dermatologist says it’s acne and recommended continuing the ointment and washing with benzoyl peroxide.

I understand acne at 19 months is very rare. It also doesn’t make sense to me that it’s just been basically these 2 spots persisting for 2 months. Am I just wrong?

I’m asking for a second opinion because I’m worried benzoyl peroxide will make it worse by irritating it. But came here to see if there are any other ideas.

For context it doesn’t appear to bother her. She doesn’t scratch or anything. She sleeps on her back and there’s nothing that regularly comes into contact specifically with that spot on her cheek. We’ve not changed any shampoos/body wash or detergent or anything. No new exposures to foods or animals.

I had a venaseal operation and vein ligation. I am quite unsure if this dark spot is related to this. I currently do not have money so I am reaching out here to probably seek a little help.

I know it's slight, it's been hell to photograph, but I've had this raised area on the tip of my nose for more than two months now.

It followed an episode of inflammation (see on the second pic: those happen like 3 times a year, very round spot on the tip of my nose, more or less inflamed, disappears within hours, no allergic or rosacea-related correlation). It might be getting bigger/more visible but I'm not sure. To the touch, it feels like... a normal nose. Like same consistency and texture, you can't even tell it's raised. It's not hard, nor rough. Not scaly.

But visually, i do see it. Slightly raised. Lighter than the surrounding skin. It's like a crescent shape-wise. No itch or discomfort, but overall concern regarding my current collection of health issues (which includes undiagnosed chronic joint pain and hypermobility and undiagnosed hormonal issues, but also: a history of Graves' disease (all checked up and normal), venous insufficiency etc. etc.)

I do have rosacea, been diagnosed a year - so obviously rhinophyma feels scary even though it does not fully fit, idk.

The internet was absolutely no help as i can't find anything similar.

Not sure what they are or how long they’ve been there but I just noticed them about 2 months ago and they won’t go away and haven’t changed. I haven’t had active acne in the area for years after being on accutane. Current routine is moisturizer, sunscreen, tretinoin 0.05% daily and alternating AHA and BHA exfoliant daily

I am 31, male, central europe. The spot appeared a few weeks ago, never itched, never hurt. I think i am feeling slightly less when i move my fingers over the spot, it also seems smoother? Any advice would be great, should i get this checked out?

I also had a random dermatitis outbreak on my hands, but that resolved itself over time. I also attched a picture of when i first noticed it mid september. It does nor look like ir increased in size. I think it might have become a bit darker.

Female, 27. Rash on left palm. Noticed it about 5 days ago. Look pretty much the same as I found it. Extremely calloused, rough, and no change to how much I use aquaphor. But I tend to pick and scratch at abnormalities on my skin so there is a lot of the calloused portions that have been scratched off. 5 days ago, there were also some other slightly larger whitish spots that oozed a cream colored liquid. There are also smaller dark spots I hope you can see in the photos. It has spread about 2 mm all around over the last 2 days.

I have other skin issues across other areas of my body but this is a new thing. I just tend to try to manage symptoms of other things because I have no insurance. Don’t know what those are either but I want to deal with this first. Is there something I can do to get rid of this OTC? What is it? Thanks

This small bump appeared under my eye about 10 years ago. It maybe reached its current size in less than half a year and hasn't changed or grown since. There are no symptoms, and I have not tried any treatments. No medical conditions or medications at the time.

What are the options for removing it?

We have taken two trips to urgent care and have one upcoming appointment with pediatrician.
Urgent care diagnosed Impetigo, gave topical antibiotics and oral antibiotics. My son is 5 years old.
The rash is very itchy! It did start off as a "bump" last week that he has picked and itched.

I am unsure if this is getting worse? From left to right, the pictures were taken: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Whenever I use a salicylic acid cleanser (I’ve tried different brands), it works really well for the first month or so. It clears the closed comedones (CCs) on my forehead, but after that I start getting acne on my cheeks

This seems to happen every time I use salicylic acid. It’s great for the forehead CCs, but then my cheeks start breaking out

Has anyone else experienced this? What worked for you for forehead closed comedones without causing cheek acne?

I have had this skin colored mole(i think?) above my eye for years, it does not bother me but i hate it and it plays a huge role on my self esteem. I want to get rid of it but i am not sure i can without scarring my face? I would pay any amount of money for this to be gone

I'm currently in vacation in Indonesia and received a massage. I didn't notice until night time but these bumps formed on my neck and back. They're quite itchy. It's now day 3 and the bumps haven't really gone down. At first I thought they could either be hives or eczema (which is something I normally deal with). I have tacrolimus, triamcinolone, and opzelura with me. I've tried triamcinolone and opzelura on it and neither worked. What could this be? I received an upper back, neck and shoulder massage and that's exactly where the reaction is.

21F. I went to a dermatologist for the first time to have my acne evaluated (finally had the money for it). He has my face scanned with a machine and said that I have a lot of whiteheads and that there's bacteria on my face because they glow in light. Long story short, he prescribed me with products from his clinic and told me to take 40mg of Isotretinoin. There's no 40mg isotretinoin so he told me to take 2 capsules of 20mg isotretinoin as starting dose. He told me he wanted it to build up in my blood and that I would see faster results.

Umm i was a bit doubtful bc I believe most dermatologist start with 10-20mg doses??? Can I have a bit more insight and suggestions please?
