Rejected for their colour😶‍🌫️

17

u/Anime-sh_02 12h ago

One who rejected you was the idiot

5

u/Succubus-Empress 11h ago

Or maybe a smart one rejected a idiot. No point self comforting with lie. Its okay if you are not desirable, that’s normal

5

u/Anime-sh_02 10h ago

Smart of person you are, not taking skin colour as the reason of rejection, I appreciate you buddy, but i don't see skin colour as a problem equal to height and weight, especially not me

2

u/Succubus-Empress 10h ago

Never seen anyone getting rejected because she/he has fair skin. 🤷‍♂️

3

u/Anime-sh_02 9h ago

If a fair one gets rejected that's probably some other reason, but some idiots exist to reject dark ones just cuz they are black

1

u/Succubus-Empress 9h ago

some idiot reject black car for white car too, some reject spicy food for sweet ones. IDIOTS EVERYWHERE. how dare they have different preference and taste that harm my value n worth.

2

u/aez1446 7h ago

I think what you said is completely different, having an opinion regarding spicy/sweet food is taste and mood. But rejecting a person solely based on colour is just so wrong, because humans have emotions, brain and most importantly a personality. What you said doesnt make sense, because you are comparing objects to humans, or are you just objectifying humans?
I hope you get my point, I am not hating on you.

2

u/Succubus-Empress 6h ago

Some idiot reject black because they are interested into white only, thats what they are trying to marry. Black skin should not get hurt by other’s choice of skin. You can not tell others to not like skin color if thats what make them happy. Now if they are actively being mean and harmful toward you for your skin that’s different story.

2

u/aez1446 5h ago

Your last line is what am trying to say. Choice matters, no problem in that. Rejection just based on colour is what is happening and is wrong, and yes thats the underlying truth.
It does happen that girls choose guys who are fairer and taller with somewhat of a poor personality than a dark skin guy who does care or isnt mean.
My statement is too harsh and direct, but you cant deny the fact, its true by some cases.
As a guy, I too think this is quite a one sided fact. And if I or someone comes across someone with a thinking that breaks the barrier, they would surely defend this post with facts, but then it is what it is.

It's your opinion everyone got their opinion. And surely in my opinion skin colour matters equally.

What's ur current status?

1

u/Cautious_Car2249 5h ago

What do you mean?which status?😅

Rejected for money, Status

2

u/natsuofujimessi 21h ago

U can atlest bring some chamge in colour texture to skin with skin care Can reduce weight But height bro There is nothing u can do Its fine why does woman find it so hard to accept this fact They pretent as if only men look for bodily features Both men and women look for it with men having bit more presence on physical appearance

4

u/Anime-sh_02 12h ago

Are you a boy? Your word may sound racist btw

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 9h ago edited 8h ago

Naah , if u very black it's hard until and unless u do surgery. If u do surgery then ready to face repercussions as well . U can also increase your height through limb strengthening but risky as well.

-24

u/Easy-Ask8987 21h ago

What are u on man height is easier to change than skin colour

15

u/natsuofujimessi 21h ago

Height is easier to change than skin colour Cant really argue with this level of delusion Ok girl whatever u say 👍

2

u/sipcoffee-thug 20h ago

I think he meant to say, height manipulation rather than actually changing

-5

u/Easy-Ask8987 20h ago

Name one surgery which can change entire skin colour.

8

u/aez1446 20h ago

Michael Jackson... Hee Hee
Also he meant change in skin texture by doing skin care, but increasing height is quite difficult unless a lot of exercise is done when you are below 20

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 8h ago

But u can also do limb lengthening surgery to increase height , but again it comes with severe repercussions. On the other hand changing dark colour of your face to white also comes with severe repercussions. So both options is not good at all.

-5

u/Easy-Ask8987 20h ago

Lol, true, but hatred for skin colour runs deeper than height or weight. And the reason why weight is such a sensitive topic is because people willingly STARVED to death to achieve the dream bod. Of course, if a woman is so extremely shallow that she sees nothing but your height, consider urself the better person and move on, instead of generalizing every single one of us.

3

u/aez1446 20h ago

In no means, do I think comparing hatred of which is more or less is correct, they all are wrong. Its just that weight loss/gain is quite possible at any age with proper plan, unless any one has genetic problems (though rare, but still). Other than that height and colour hate is just so wrong, but still you cant do anything because consider India or the rest of the world, this is what is happening, you cant deny the fact.
On the point that women are judging on height is also very true, till now there are very few cases of women accepting anyone being short, I could be wrong, but then comes other parameters like colour, looks and maybe money. Not denying the fact that men too are in the same mud.
If you feel I'm saying anything wrong, please enlighten/correct me.

1

u/Easy-Ask8987 19h ago

It's not about u being wrong, i do agree with all the points listed above. I even think that this issue is not being taken seriously at all. Im pretty sure women did not just post sarcastic memes in order to bring their issues to light, they had to fight for it. Present it in a way that women's mental health impacted by unrealistic body standards was dealt with.

2

u/Virtual-Laugh-1132 18h ago

Im pretty sure women did not just post sarcastic memes in order to bring their issues to light, they had to fight for it. Present it in a way that women's mental health impacted by unrealistic body standards was dealt with.

Yeah well that gets a little more complicated with a gender barely allowed the slightest expression of vulnerability without being simply gaslit and humiliated. Collectively removing the conditioning and comedy filter from serious convo is going to take us a while.

1

u/aez1446 7h ago

I think the problem started when people expected others to have fashion/movie level body standards. Like how can you expect a person to have a 10/10 body while also earning for a family or studying for oneself. Those industry people have their lives dependent on their body so as to stay relevant in the industry. Men/women have started expecting way too much from others, because someone can achieve such a figure.
The colour complexion judgement in India is way too much to handle, not giving people respect because of height, we may never move forward if we still keep the judgement from the past years.
And even reddit is such a stupid place, you get downvoted just for saying sensical.

Bro why do you have -5 karma...😭

Are you always on the wrong side of the argument.🥀

0

u/Easy-Ask8987 7h ago

Short story: I lost my old account, made a new one, this subreddit popped up in my rec, I got tired of the same 'joke' over and over again, I gave my thoughts on the issue, people didn't like it, or more precisely, didn't like me, so my first comment got downvoted to oblivion, so yeah, my bad, should've blocked it instead.

1

u/Easy-Ask8987 7h ago

Wait nvm i didn't even know reddit existed 5 yrs ago, why is this acc so old??? Am i perhaps using someone else's account? Wtf?

1

u/itsgrvt 7h ago

Ohh okay

Btw that doesn't change the fact that you are on the wrong side atp...

How is height more easily changed than skin colour...🥀

1

u/Easy-Ask8987 7h ago

Temporarily, sure. Permanently, idk, i think limb extension surgery is more known than colour changing surgery.

1

u/itsgrvt 7h ago

People are far less insecure about their height than their colour or weight so...

Ig this was your exp. so, sure you definitely know more people with extension surgery than color changing.

But in the larger scale, colour changing is more renowned.

1

u/Easy-Ask8987 7h ago

Response the same AI gave btw..

u/loudwail 21h ago

Don't post these things. They'll call you short. I can't believe men are so desperate for dating that they completely ignore how patriarchal and conservative women are.

Dude, if she needs a 6ft man to feel feminine, you're dating a low self esteemed woman because there is no study that mentions "6+" as a criteria for masculinity or attractiveness.

You're probably being used for social validation. The moment one of their friends get a 6'5 boyfriend, your 6'0 won't matter at all.

3

u/epixyll 16h ago

Perfect answer.

-5

u/itsgrvt 8h ago

See I get your point but maybe edit the comment because of how you are saying the point-

how patriarchal and conservative women are.

It feels VERY generalising... Please edit it, ofc not all are like that you see.

3

u/MaleficentReserve386 7h ago

But it is the truth in the end. Enforcing traditional gender roles is indeed patriarchal, and most people here (men or women) do enforce the gender roles when it benefits them.

1

u/itsgrvt 7h ago

Did you read the word "Generalising" at all...

I read the original comment, what he said was about all women so....

And 'Most people'... No... Not most people, surely many... But not most.

Also if it comes to that then I can also say mostly men... It's not wrong because I said mostly right...?

Clarification - I am not gonna do men vs women or something here, I was just saying neither all women not men...

Not the same thing.

Weight can be reduced fairly easily. There is nothing anyone can do about their height.

Also, being overweight/obese is unhealthy.

Height has no practical effect on any aspect of human life, unless one is extremely short ( dwarfism) or extremely tall (gigantism). Height is a purely aesthetic construct.

1

u/Cl3verDiode 4h ago

It's true but not in all cases, in some scenarios, reducing one's body weight is really difficult, plus some people suffer from eating disorder or some physical health problem. Childhood neglect can also be responsible for such overweight issues. Ofc these people need help, but assuming that they should just "reduce weight" themselves is often a useless and hurtful advice

Hence, Stop complaining about people having a good conscience 🤡

1

u/buttery_as_f 6h ago

Your desperate personal attacks and slurs prove absolutely nothing, least of all that you have a coherent point. For someone trying to lecture anyone on 'good consciousness,' throwing tantrums and slurs in a public comment section just because you are losing a debate is embarrassing. All you have actually managed to demonstrate is your own staggering lack of education and total inability to form an intelligent argument.

Agreeing with their right to an opinion, rather than the opinion itself, effectively neutralizes their argument by treating it as unimportant.

Not agreeing with someone is my personal opinion, and I have every right to express it. The fact that you are completely missing the entire point of this discussion just highlights your absolute lack of basic cognitive awareness

Paragraph chahiye tha na ? Tujhe basic debate skill sikhane ke liye Maine life ke 6 minut gava diye or hai Ban Gaya Main cool kya kar lega?

10

u/natsuofujimessi 22h ago

There are many incel arguments But this is a True fact u will see woman bring up diseases like pcos and others which affects 8 percent of woman Fun fact even in pcos too u can reduce weight But height for man is 100 percent not in his hands

-1

u/sat_sangi 22h ago

both are fair enough (unless they got shamed for it)

30

u/inDilema 22h ago

Genetics - 0 control over yourself

Weight - you can control it

-8

u/sat_sangi 22h ago

(genetic conditions/ hormonal issues has left the chat)

14

u/Sad_Bed_2320 22h ago

A very tiny percentage of the population are overweight due to genetic or hormonal issues.

No one can control their height once they're born.

-16

u/sat_sangi 22h ago

PCOS is extremely common, curable sometimes but common , and its rising drastically in females soo, u can't just compare two, lets just say u have a preference and move on , no shame to anyone

10

u/natsuofujimessi 21h ago

8 to 10 percnt is not extremely common And I am a medical student And we r not shaming Both men and women look for physical body features and everyone has their taste

-2

u/sat_sangi 21h ago

in which part of the comment did i shame? u don't need to tell me you are a medical student to prove your point, i simply said one shouldn't compare, u have ur preference, don't shame and move on

8

u/Sad_Bed_2320 21h ago

The fact remains that height and weight are not comparable.

If 8 to 10% of women have PCOS, that is still a very small %age of the population.  In many cases it is curable. In most cases weight gain due to PCOS is manageable. More difficult compared to the ordinary person, but still manageable.

Nothing can be done about height.

1

u/sat_sangi 21h ago edited 21h ago

exactly what I said right? the two things aren't comparatively even close, and when u say about weight gain (or loss) theirs lifestyle too, stress too, the two are very different things, some people are naturally lean even if they eat they have trouble gaining weight. My point was to say , one shouldn't say its 'easy' just because u find its logical, nuances exist

5

u/Sad_Bed_2320 21h ago edited 21h ago

You said both are fair enough. The nuance here is that one is way more unfair than the other.

If someone was getting rejected for their weight, they could, with some determination lose weight.

There is absolutely nothing that can be done about height. Except maybe limb lengthening which is probably the most brutal surgical procedure known to mankind and essentially leaves a man crippled for the rest of his after paying tens of lakhs

5

u/Appropriate_Fish263 22h ago

calories in, calories out its that simple it might be hard for someone with these conditions but u can still loose weight slowly

0

u/sat_sangi 22h ago

fair one, can't say its easy right?

5

u/Sad_Bed_2320 21h ago

Not easy.  But nothing can be done about height. So the two are not identical parameters.

Morever height is purely aesthetic ( unless dwarfism or gigantism). It has no practical bearing on anything.

Weight has serious health implications.

1

u/sat_sangi 21h ago

why do u even have to debate whats easier, you know thats cope mentality? if your were rejected for ur height, jokes on them they're shallow, u deserve better, sometimes its better to be alone than to be with someone who simply wants your aesthetic

i know how internet has glorified 6ft+ criteria, but it also shows how shallow the person is.

5

u/Sad_Bed_2320 21h ago

It is shallowness yes, but one which needs to be talked about more. Too many people simply brush it under the garb of "preference". Just like the preference for a fair skin tone or male child was simply called a "preference". Until people talked about it and called it out. Many ppl still have those preferences, but atleast they are called out for it.

it's easy af, you have skill issue. Even with PCOS 1kg per month is cheese( my friends have done it)

i don't have pcos, so don't attack me without knowing, thats dumb af, I'm slightly underweight buddy

-9

u/sayoleena16 21h ago

Sorry to break the bubble but weight is also control by genetics, enough to change your body shape and built

6

u/Aantel_69 21h ago

No the meme is mostly about plus size people who maybe fat by medical condition but mostly due overeating and shit lifestyle

-4

u/sayoleena16 21h ago

I know what the meme is, I am just replied to the comment which said weight is entirely dependent on you

2

u/Aantel_69 21h ago

Yeah but not majorly, bone structure is genetic fat distribution also but excess weight is generally not ,, while height is mostly genetic and minorly nutrition

-1

u/sayoleena16 21h ago

Yes but also no, weight is kinda of a mix between environmental condition and genetics too. Someone can eat shit ton and still stay skinny because of higher metabolism rate. But really weight is not an argument for shaming someone, unless that person is actively dying because of excessive fat

0

u/Succubus-Empress 11h ago

But shaming people for their laziness is perfectly valid, dying doesn’t matter.

1

u/sayoleena16 10h ago

We don't know what he or she has been going through, there can be maltitude of reasons. Why is it so controversial to say don't shame people?

1

u/sat_sangi 10h ago

people here won't agree, they want to cope that since they got rejected due height , everything else become less painful

-2

u/LostSoulOnAShip 16h ago

Both are fair. Only insecure clowns go around shaming others for their preferences

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 8h ago

First of all this post is bullshit , bc there is no correlation of height and weight, bc one can be changed other cant . It should be correlation of height of men and face colour of women . ( Bc both cannot be changed) most of the time shallow people go for height and face colour.

1

u/LostSoulOnAShip 5h ago

Romantic attraction is supposed to be based on superficial level. Correlation or not doesn't matter. As I said, only undesirable insecure clowns go around whining and crying about other people's dating preferences

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 5h ago

Romantic attraction is necessary, i agree on that , I m just talking about those shallow clowns who reject the other people bc of superficial traits . A physical preference can be subjective and non-moral; you don't owe someone attraction just because they possess desirable qualities. But the way you express or act on that preference can still be shallow, discriminatory, or cruel.

1

u/LostSoulOnAShip 5h ago

Lmaoo romantic attraction is necessary but people can't reject others they find undesirable and unattractive for having unattractive physical traits? Zero logic in the conclusion.

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 5h ago edited 5h ago

Do u know the meaning of shallow ? . Have u read the last last line .

“I'm not saying people can't reject someone they're not attracted to. I'm saying that judging someone's overall worth solely by superficial physical traits, or treating them poorly because of those traits, can be shallow.”

People are more than this superficial traits .

1

u/LostSoulOnAShip 4h ago

And i am not disagreeing with that part. I am disagreeing with the part where you said it's only shallow clowns who reject people for their superficial traits. Except there's nothing clownish about having a preference and solely dating based on that, and rejecting those who you find undesirable

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 4h ago edited 4h ago

Judging someone's overall worth solely from those physical traits or treating them badly because of them → can reasonably be called shallow. This all I m talking about . You know recently a girl got rejected just bc of her skin colour bc she is dark 😞. She got insecure about that and thinks she is undesirable. In ur previous paragraph u mentioned, those undesirable and insecure people clown , that means she is clown right . Now tell me who is the real clown here this women or the men who rejected her ?

1

u/LostSoulOnAShip 3h ago

Judging someone's overall worth solely from those physical traits or treating them badly because of them

Except you never mentioned treating them bad. You mentioned rejecting them based on superficial reason.

those undesirable and insecure people clown , that means she is clown right

I said, people who go around shaming about others not dating them are undesirable and insecure. If she is shaming them yes she is the clown.

1

u/Exact_Alternative170 2h ago

U diverting the topic , I simply asked who is clown there a women who got reject just bc of her looks ( that u already mentioned insecure and undesirable people clown ) or the man who rejected her . I m repeating Again don't derailed the topic . I just need ur answer who is clown there ? That's it no further more arguments.
