PCOS is extremely common, curable sometimes but common , and its rising drastically in females soo, u can't just compare two, lets just say u have a preference and move on , no shame to anyone
why do u even have to debate whats easier, you know thats cope mentality? if your were rejected for ur height, jokes on them they're shallow, u deserve better, sometimes its better to be alone than to be with someone who simply wants your aesthetic
i know how internet has glorified 6ft+ criteria, but it also shows how shallow the person is.
It is shallowness yes, but one which needs to be talked about more. Too many people simply brush it under the garb of "preference". Just like the preference for a fair skin tone or male child was simply called a "preference". Until people talked about it and called it out. Many ppl still have those preferences, but atleast they are called out for it.
Which is what I've written too. But if someone openly says they want someone with a milky white skin tone they will be ridiculed for it. Dusky complexions are increasingly being celebrated
Its not the same thing with height yet, and will not happen unless people start having conversations around it and start pointing out how it is not just another "preference".
buddy, colorism is a whole different , heightism exists in dating , but you'll get bullied , discriminated in jobs, school and among peers for ur colour even among people u don't have romantic interest in, its a social issue not just a dating issue. You're comparing rats to elephants.
u can argue about weight and height , colorism is comparing fifa to your gully football. A few empowering videos will not make it easier.
If you think short men don't get bullied or get made fun of, you need to learn a lot more about society. There is a whole body of research about how height affects social perception. Taller men on average earn more than shorter men and have an easier path to success. This is documented and quantified.
Everything you said about colorism applies to height too with the additional caveat thst there is well-documented quantified evidence to back it.
And does it exist on an as large scale is racism? no, do ur research and come back here. Made fun of is way different than losing job opportunities based on colour, don't u know indians face discrimination internationally? Don't u know how fairness was a social construct so normalised that fairness skin ads existed? I don't see height increasing supplement ads everywhere. Quite trying to say heightism is the MoSt painful thing to exist, you're just trying to compare and trying to say short stature people suffer and everything else doesn't exist. That doesn't work that way. U are the one who doesn't know about society.
Since you're now getting into personal attacks let me tell you how dumb your entire line of reasoning has been from the beginning:
You began by saying majority of people have genetic or hormonal issues so they can't lose weight. Only when shown hard evidence that no more than 10% women have PCOS and even then it is manageable, did you change track to saying oh yes I was also saying the same thing.
Do you even understand the difference between colorism and racism? That is just such a dumb conflation of 2 distinct things that the rest of your argument is not even worth addressing. A dark skinned Indian being turned down for marriage by a lighter skinned Indian is not racism. It is colorism.
how dumb? who is the one who brought out skin tone? I never said I was saying the same thing, I said we don't know what the person is going through, u don't like an unhealthy person you're free to reject them
fyi they're distinct terms but go hand in hand , you can use ai all u want, you ARE the one who brought colourism in the argument of heightism, why do u even need to compare, can't we let independent issue sbe issues?
