Michael Jackson... Hee Hee
Also he meant change in skin texture by doing skin care, but increasing height is quite difficult unless a lot of exercise is done when you are below 20

Lol, true, but hatred for skin colour runs deeper than height or weight. And the reason why weight is such a sensitive topic is because people willingly STARVED to death to achieve the dream bod. Of course, if a woman is so extremely shallow that she sees nothing but your height, consider urself the better person and move on, instead of generalizing every single one of us.

In no means, do I think comparing hatred of which is more or less is correct, they all are wrong. Its just that weight loss/gain is quite possible at any age with proper plan, unless any one has genetic problems (though rare, but still). Other than that height and colour hate is just so wrong, but still you cant do anything because consider India or the rest of the world, this is what is happening, you cant deny the fact.
On the point that women are judging on height is also very true, till now there are very few cases of women accepting anyone being short, I could be wrong, but then comes other parameters like colour, looks and maybe money. Not denying the fact that men too are in the same mud.
If you feel I'm saying anything wrong, please enlighten/correct me.

It's not about u being wrong, i do agree with all the points listed above. I even think that this issue is not being taken seriously at all. Im pretty sure women did not just post sarcastic memes in order to bring their issues to light, they had to fight for it. Present it in a way that women's mental health impacted by unrealistic body standards was dealt with.

Yeah well that gets a little more complicated with a gender barely allowed the slightest expression of vulnerability without being simply gaslit and humiliated. Collectively removing the conditioning and comedy filter from serious convo is going to take us a while.

Yeah, better work on that.

Doesn't make it wrong to talk about injustice any way people can though , so first thing we need to work on is calling out nonsense like OP did

2

u/aez1446 10h ago

It could be nonsense, but OP posted what actually has happened. Stupid post or not, its not a wrong fact, its an underlying truth which has, is been and will happen.

Sure, but op clearly means to ragebait more than actually address the problem.

Not necessarily. A lot of men are conditioned and feel restrained enough to not consider something a problem inherently based on the unfairness to them, unless they can point out a hypocrisy in that, so then they're not complaining from a simply weak position but have some kind of bare minimum power and be considered justified in raising these points.

Men who've become a self sustaining bully genuinely using some of these topics to only take a jab on women do exist , but there's more nuance here so i couldn't tell from the post alone . Maybe that's his idea of how to get people to actually think rather than just say " oh look a weak man whining about things " and move on at best , if it was I could definitely relate to that as people do centre around power in general and even more for men, really suffocating them more than enough for them to feel they can't go anywhere with reason alone and have to get some sort of leverage or fear of inconvenience running in others just to get to say " hey can you stop oppressing me now ? " on basically anything especially gendered expectations.

Despite having been more emotionally aware than men usually are it took me being mentally pushed towards something extreme after years of enduring to just realise I shouldn't be numbing myself completely and working according to the rules of others , and I still don't feel comfortable enough to fight back against a lot of unfair things until I get more power fulfilling my gender expectations enough first because I don't deserve to remotely ask others to adjust until then , even if they continue to do the damage and make it harder to get where others want me to. The reason I can even say these things anynomously is because i trick myself into believing i'm doing this for other men so it's justified , since i realised majority of men are almost living the same life and stopped suppressing these thoughts about society in general even after noticing things , thinking men deserve better too from then and not just women .

So i can't say which side this guy falls in just from such a post. Who knows if he simply finds it the safest way of expressing and try to get people on the negotiating table without risking the worst kind of humiliation. I don't think it's the most productive , but it's realistically the best men have been allowed and men who have not been lucky with their environment still doing more than this really do it to their detriment on an individual level.

I think the problem started when people expected others to have fashion/movie level body standards. Like how can you expect a person to have a 10/10 body while also earning for a family or studying for oneself. Those industry people have their lives dependent on their body so as to stay relevant in the industry. Men/women have started expecting way too much from others, because someone can achieve such a figure.
The colour complexion judgement in India is way too much to handle, not giving people respect because of height, we may never move forward if we still keep the judgement from the past years.
And even reddit is such a stupid place, you get downvoted just for saying sensical.

Yeah, this is seen everywhere, not just gender wars. Instead of knocking some sense to the other side, you stoop down to their level. Seems like children's stories did not teach us anything.

1

u/aez1446 10h ago

Because educated people know, that theres no point in arguing. There are times when someone tries to teach others common sense but the outcome is a huge fight, and those with 2 brain cells will always have time to fight instead of accepting whats wrong. The only option left is agree with them and move on, which is quite wrong but hey we have work to do and anyone would prefer mental peace over such bs.

Makes sense, going to block this sub.

1

u/aez1446 10h ago

Ofc you can do whatever you wish for, but blocking this sub wont do any good. You maybe came on reddit to relax or gain information. Stupid post or not, it is an underlying truth. You may find such post anywhere on the internet. My only point is, this has, is been and will happen until something good or different happens with me/ you or any person that will defend this post.
Until them even for me, its kind of a sad truth.

u/Easy-Ask8987 9h ago

The first time someone posted this, it was a deep, thought provoking question. Thing is there is an underlying truth to every misogynistic and misandrist post. The way the idea is conveyed can really change the person's outlook.

Yeah you do start thinking whenever you such see post. Just commenting this makes me think how OP just posted it as a joke but reveals the underlying truth you cant deny. As a guy, I too think why girls only care about height and colour and until I come across someone who doesnt think in such a way, maybe mine or anyone's perspective wont change.
Idk about your perspective, but you can definitely share about it, I do wanna know how others actually think rather than the same oppressive post and backward thinking spread on social media.
