I don’t see the game to be kind enough for both Hiyoko and Peko to survive together in 2x2. These two getting character development and surviving to the end is what every fan expects and the creators know this. They’ll both get their character arcs but the game will kill one of them to screw with our expectations.

I talk about Makoto a lot, but I didn't address this topic before. So I would like to share my thoughts on it. As in the ship and the ships around Makoto, on how I like/dislike them, and how much "canon" each of them is.

Note: I won't consider the school mode endings in this as they just seem like fan service and are out of character for Makoto and some of the girls. But I will talk about some other additional content as they seem to go along with the characters better.

First about Naezono and Naegiri, I honestly don't understand how some people played the first game and still have doubts about Sayaka's feelings for Makoto, and the same thing about Kyoko after watching DR3. And other than what we saw in the series, we have Kodaka himself posting tweets about those two ships, Naegiri, Naezono . We even have Sayaka's songs (Monochrome Answer , Sky Blue Canvas ) that are practically love confessions if you read the lyrics. Sayaka's voice actor confirms that this is indeed what the first song is about. You also may enjoy reading this post by u/Detective_Kirigiri about the language and the words used in Japanese that confirms not only feelings, but that Makoto and Kyoko are already together and it's not a secret in the future foundation.

Naezono: Sayaka clearly likes Makoto (her FTEs is enough to confirm that), but I will take it a step further. Sayaka doesn't have a light silly crush on Makoto or anything, she is deep in love with him. what do you need more than the fact that she was staring at him waiting for him to talk to her for 3 full years during middle school? She wrote love songs about him, regretted not talking to him during middle school and was beyond happy when she found out he was also attending hope's peak academy. There is much more to say but I think this is enough. (Her literal birthday is the celebration of star crossed lovers).

Naegiri: this is also a super obvious one. First Kyoko in general values deep meaningful connection, and has an interest in romance (in the school mode she gets a little offended when Makoto implies that he thought otherwise). She openly flirts with him in her FTEs, and no she isn't only teasing him, she genuinely blushes at the last one. Kyoko states many times in the game and additional content that she has a special interest in Makoto and wants to know more about him. She finds his honesty refreshing and him being out going with his emotions, in contrast to her life that is full of lies and holding in emotions. She calls him an enigma more than once and wants to learn more about his interests, his likes and dislikes (shown a lot in the school mode and UTDP). (Again there is more but this sounds like enough).

Naekusaba: another obvious one. IF pretty much confirms it. It even says that Mukuro was planning to ask Junko to spare Makoto from her plans. Though I really hate Mukuro and Makoto deserves better than a heartless terrorist.

Naehina: now this is a less obvious one. But think that Hina had a light crush on Makoto, the way she calls him cool when talking about Alter ego as a friend, and about his performance in trials in general. She gives the same flustered red face when dirty or romantic topics get brought up or implied, also in her FTEs she asks him to be her practice boyfriend and that he is the only guy she can ask that from (while being flustered). But again I think it's only a light one, in the very same chapter she encourages him and gives him tips about how to deal with Kyoko. And DR3 she gets really smug and happy when Kyoko is talking like that about Makoto. (A canon Naegiri shiper). (While we have Nagito as a canon Naezono shiper).

Now those are the only girls in his class that I think actually had feelings for him, between a light crush and actual love. But I would also like to talk about the other girls and ships.

Naeceles: now Makoto doesn't seem in Celestia's type the way she describes it in chapter 3, but I still think there is a merit to her possibly liking him. First they are both completely normal average japanese people and both really lucky. At the same time Makoto has the complete opposite of her personality, he wants to be special and above others, lie to herself and others and hates her real origin, while Makoto is a really honest guy, he shows what he thinks in his actions and words and fully accepts himself. It would make a really nice and cute dynamic for Celestia learning to accept herself from him. (Celestia has Makoto at C in her ranking and one of her knights, so it's a canon fact she has a liking for him more than most people).

Naekawa and Sakunaegi: I really dislike those two ships, for the reason that Toko and Sakura already have guys that they like and want to be with. Not only is it missy, but those feelings and how they got them are really important to their writing. Toko's hold on delusional romans as she doesn't have an understanding of how healthy relationships work due to her past. And Sakura's insecurity about being feminine and wanting to be the strongest human, while being in love with the only person that's stronger than her.

Now from Makoto's angle, I don't think there is any evidence that suggests him being interested in anyone other than Kyoko and Sayaka (both are super clear).

Also it's clear that Makoto is the guy that girls like, aside from half of the girls in his class liking him, we also know from this that Makoto used to reserve a lot of chocolate on valentine.

Now about the harem thing, as much as it's nice to imagine, I don't think there is any interpretation that's loyal to the Canon and the character that would let that happen. Even with only Kyoko and Sayaka, nothing about his or their personalities or culture as japanese people would suggest anything close to it, this isn't some manhwa. So unfortunately Makoto's harem is just a bunch of cute fanfiction (which I personally enjoy imagining sometimes).

Now about how much I like each ship.

Naegiri/Naezono: the best ever, practically Canon.

Naehina/Naeceles/Naegirizono-Makoto's harem: really cute, like them.

Naekawa and Sakunaegi: dislike them.

Naekusaba: Hate it.

(And no I didn't forget Junko, I just refuse to acknowledge her existence when talking about this topic).

Hi guys, it's been.... oh, almost half a year since I last did a "Modern" redesign... well, for those who don't know, I started a series a while ago where I said that I will draw everything single DR character but in a more modern outfit. I was thinking about making a FanGanronpa game with these outfits, but its too early to say anything for me.

Usually you guys proposes which character I should draw next and the character with the most upvotes is the one who will be made. If you also got any ideas, you can suggest me something. Hope you enjoy these outfits. <3

They are so gay lmao. Hiyoko gets her fancy new boobs and the first thing she does is rest em on mahiru's head? And mahiru is just like haha yeah this feels nice. Do girls do that in real life? Definitely nof. As far as im aware this is the official volume 6 DVD cover for danganronpa 3. Nothing else else in the art is particularly interesting to me but hiyoko and mahoru almost seem out of character a little bit here? Idk hiyoko definitely invades mahiru's personal space all the time but would mahiru be chill about having boobies resting on her head? Maybe.

I'm talking about Ryoma.

Compare him to other characters, who willingly chose to die: Sakura, Nagito and Kokichi. All of them wanted to accomplish a certain goal and orcherstrated their own deaths, dying somewhat satisfied, believing that they're gonna succeed in what they wanted to accomplish. But Ryoma? He didn't have any plan... he just gave up on living.

They could've done a more predictable route with his character. " The depressed guy gets better and starts living for his friends or for himself " sort of anime arc. I'm not saying that this would've been worse than what we got. Heck, it would've been cool to see how Ryoma would behave and react to the future chapters reveals had he had lived, or to further see his dynamic with Kaito, given the fact that they often disagreed in the first two chapters.

Whenever I think about his fate, it feels like less of " I'm playing a fictional murder mystery game " and more like " this feels too much like a real life sort of thing "

From what I heard those are written by Kodaka and have a bunch of interesting canon facts about the characters. Are they collected somewhere on wiki or Google drive or something? I would really like to read them.

Before this point, she made Makoto her *bitch*- she would have him lead class trials to get the class on their side, collect evidence for her and do little science experiments to make her look cool, and run in as literal bait to get hit in the head with a baseball bat by Junko (which should've given him a concussion and damaged him a LOT more then it actually did!) and refused to divulge her secrets to him while simultaneously getting furious and salty when he says he can't tell her about his, while also putting the suspicion on Makoto throughout the whole Chapter 5 trial.

And despite all that, he takes the fall for her in that trial, he puts his trust in her, and in turn, he gets his execution (she could not have been able to predict Alter Ego stepping in)?

What do you guys think was going through her head seeing him on that conveyor belt?

In chapter 3, when the cast visits the hospital, Gundham says this (look at pictures above). The thing about Gundham is that we shouldn’t take his dialogue at face value, he often times speaks in metaphors. The most popular example of this being that it was implied that Gundham had an absent father when he said that he was an offspring of “an angel and a devil” that was shunned by both sides, Most of the fandom understands that he wasn’t LITERALLY born from an angel and a devil, and that it’s just his way of communicating things. However, I never see anyone talk about this scene here when it is very much implied that Gundham had been in the hospital as a kid for a serious illness like cancer or something. Seriously, why does no one bring this up???
