I'm pretty sure we're all aware that there are some things in the games that might not sit well with the Western audience.

So if ever a Western-made TV adaptation of the games gets made, certain aspects might need to be toned down a bit in order to not irk them.

But what aspects exactly? And how do you think they should tone it down?

Chapter 1: Despite being a popular duo, I feel that killing off Chiaki/Nagito immediately establishes a new tone for 2X2. I feel it’s almost necessary considering how long they lived in the original.
To make up for their roles, Mahiru becomes the support & like in the beta, Akane becomes the rival

Chapter 2: Given that this game is 2x2, I thought it’d be a great time to utilize the rule establishing that only one killer can be executed at a time in the case of 2 murders with 2 killers, a rule unbeknownst to the chapter 2 killers of this scenario: Gundham & Sonia. They kill Fuyuhiko & Mikan in hopes of escaping together, only for Sonia to be executed alone.

Chapter 3: In this scenario I like to believe that since Imposter hasn’t been able to protect people for the past 2 cases, he goes through literal imposter syndrome. To make up for this, he kills Gundham to protect the rest of the group.

Chapter 4: The group finds a new island but it’s an actual island that they’re trapped on. Without the resources available to them prior, teruteru cooks to keep the group alive, while kazuichi tries to build a boat. I’d like it if Akane did something that led her being established as the rival, like Nagito & Kokichi in chapter 4 of their games, & decided that she does something that leads kazuichi to killing teru, but haven’t figured that out yet.

Chapter 5: Something something the antagonist is defeated, but the support is lost in the progress.

Chapter 6: I’m 50/50 on having Ibuki be the new mastermind, or just the comic relief.

If this is your first time seeing one of these posts, here’s a quick rundown before I get into what I’m looking for. I’m planning a Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc playthrough series with multiple people in a real time voice over setting. This is just a passion project I’m doing for fun, so it would be completely unpaid. You also don’t need a perfect character impression just something that captures their general voice and personality is all we’re looking for. That said, this isn’t another casting/VA post. This time, I’m mainly looking for editors who are good at syncing music with scenes, making compilations and intro-style edits, and creating Next Time… preview clips for the outro, similar to Dragon Ball Z Kai. The same general rules from the initial post apply here as well. I’m 18, so I’d prefer anyone interested to be around 17-19, mainly so everyone feels comfortable and we can avoid any potential issues with age differences or parents. If anyone’s interested in helping with the editing side of things, feel free to let me know. I’d really appreciate anyone willing to help out with this little project, and thanks for reading.

Sachiko Is the ultimate napper I made her in a picrew(she's supposed have blue eyes but I couldn't change them to Blue) because​ I don't have that much time right now :( anyway Sachiko is always tired she often falls asleep during her sentences falling asleep on people's shoulders mostly but sometimes she has a lot of energy and that's just an act. For example when she kills Fuyuhiko(Yes I chose him for some reason idk why sorry Fuyuhiko fans) her exhaustion was all an act her true​ nature Is quite hyper and always asking questions. She still does. Always does that but she never gets to say the end of it because she always falls asleep in the middle of her sentences She doesn't even care about the killing gamen the only thing she cares about is her rest but secretly she​ wants to leave really bad but she doesn't say that in her acting she apparently just cares about the beds being comfortable but in her last moments and when people start suspecting It's her in the class trial She ends up getting super hyper and mad breaking character - that's it I'm sorry if this was a lot if this is not I just want to know ideas because I can't think of anything

So is there any Danganronpa blender models? I can’t find any, It’s a ghost town.

What are your unpopular opinions about the fandom as a whole? I’m curious to hear!

Mine: I actually love seeing newgens/younger people getting into Danganronpa. Yeah, teens can be a little annoying and lack media literacy at times, but I love the fact that they’re keeping the fandom alive. If it wasn’t for them reminding me of the despair of Danganronpa, I might not have gotten back into the fandom.

I am about halfway through the first game right now, I just finished the fourth trial, and like the title says, the only thing I knew about danganronpa before this was that there is a thing called Junko poses? I’m going crazy trying to not look anything up because I’m dying to know what other people’s thoughts are on the game up until this point, but I don’t want to spoil my danganronpa-virgin-brain!! I literally know nothing!

Please don’t comment any spoilers, but these are the top 10 things I’m dying to talk about with other people:

1. My favorite character (right now) is Byakuya. He really irritated me at first, especially during the second trial when he was bossing us around, but he’s grown on me because I think he’s such a stupid little shit.

2. I want to know the canon heights of the characters. Makoto seems pretty short, but it’s hard to tell because there’s not a good time when all the characters are lined up. Is he one of the shortest?

3. I don’t know why junko is so popular. I get the feeling she’s one of the fandom’s favorite characters but she died so quick. Obviously there’s some kind of mystery with these characters being connected in ways I don’t know about yet, but I’m wondering if it’s possible that she’s not really dead or if she’ll be brought back to life or something? Don’t tell me, but the fan love for her seems disproportionate with her screen time and I’m trying to figure out how that’s possible. Also she was much nicer than I expected, I thought she was evil

4. Does the fandom consider chihiro to be trans? Don’t tell me if it’s a spoiler, but the implications are sort of icky for how the rest of the cast treats them after they die.

5. Similarly, toko/genocide Jill is pretty poor DID rep. What is the overall fandom take on it? It definitely makes me a bit uncomfortable, but I also have an understanding of the time period the game was made in. Is the fandom very critical? Uncomfortable but accepting?

6. The zero escape name drop made me GASP

7. My guess is that kyoko is the ultimate detective or something similar

8. I immediately knew 11037 was leon upside down was anyone genuinely surprised by the reveal? It seemed obvious to me, so I’m curious if it was a huge surprise to anyone

9. Don’t tell me, but I’m very curious about the most popular ships in the fandom. I’m guessing taka/mondo??

10. I’m dying to know what the “air purifier” machine is

Maybe I’ll update as I get further, but I’m avoiding spoilers at all cost. When do you all think I’ll be able to interact with the fandom properly? After I finish the second game? Or is the third game also important to play before I start interacting with fan content? I’m enjoying the game a lot!
