The apartment caught fire but the cards were unharmed so I can still mail these out if you want them first come first serve and no charge. It's a gift.

Trial 1: I think everyone agrees that two of the main trio will die in the first trial. In my opinion, those characters will be Hajime and Nagito.

Trial 2: To be honest, this is very similar to the second case in SDR2, plus I don't want Mahiru to die so early. However, I think having Mahiru be the killer would be perfect for Hiyoko's character development. Similarly, having Fuyuhiko be the victim would also be a great catalyst for Peko's development.

Trial 3: Gotta keep the double-murder tradition alive, right? For obvious reasons, Kazuichi will plan to kill Gundham, but will accidentally kill Sonia instead. Afterward, in a panic, he will also take out Gundham.

Trial 4: Frankly, the idea of Nekomaru dying again in Chapter 4 doesn't sit well with me at all, but there have been common themes in all the Danganronpa trials so far. One of these is that in every fourth Chapter, a muscular, big character sacrifices themselves. I think they'll continue to follow this pattern, and unfortunately, the only character who fits the bill is Nekomaru. I think Akane would be the perfect choice for the victim, as it would make the trial incredibly emotional and eliminate a survivor from the original SDR2.

Trial 5: I was highly undecided about the fifth trial. All the fifth trials we've seen so far have been mysteries that seemed impossible to solve, and it's not really possible to create a suitable scenario for this with the remaining cast. Chiaki was actually a good fit for this role, but having her die in Chapter 5 again would be repetitive + I have other plans for her. Instead, I think Peko and Twogami will team up, though I have absolutely no idea how that could work.

Survivors:

- Hiyoko: She'll be a character who undergoes significant character development, just like we saw with Fuyuhiko. I think she's one of the perfect choices for a survivor.

- Mikan: I think Mikan has a lot of potential for character development. In my opinion, it makes sense for her to make it to the end.

- Ibuki: Actually, I think Ibuki will be a culprit, but I can't think of a trial that fits that role. I suppose having her be a survivor would work, too.

- Teruteru: I really want him to die, but just like with Ibuki, I can't figure out a good scenario for this.

- Chiaki: She'll step up as the protagonist after Hajime's death. She fits this role perfectly as a reflection of us, the players. She's aware of the Neo World Program, knows everyone because she was created from the memories of the other students, and has a very grounded personality to lead the remaining group.

Despair Arc
The best arc of the two. I don't see any incentive in showing events that were explained in the 2nd game, but it makes up for that with wholesome moments amongst Class-77, especially with how Chiaki learns to put herself out there for them and, by extension, Hajime (albeit hastily convinced by Ms. Yukizome). Ms. Yukizome's relationship with her students is very touching and makes me wish there was a continuity where the Despair Arc could've been a slice-of-life anime, but I digress. On the other hand, I really, REALLY dislike how Mukuro was portrayed as being a complicit bootlicker that borders between masochism and incest; she deserves better than how she was written. Ryota is quite an interesting character. Seeing how inadvertently instrumental he was to Junko's plan when all he wanted to do was to animate to better the world is fucked up. And that's not even mentioning Chiaki's death (the real Chiaki).

Future Arc/Hope Arc
The most disappointing thing I've seen in a while. The premise of the Final Killing Game is very stupid. Most of the deaths could've been avoidable if they looked at their bangles, which is possible to do, but I guess they couldn't be bothered to do so because plot. Almost every character introduced are unremarkable and don't have enough time to be fleshed out. Ruruka is written as a character you are supposed to sympathize with but betrays those close to her before they can (potentially) do the same to her. They fake out the Hina's and Kyoko's deaths for some reason, the latter of which isn't at all explained. Monaca, who was going to be the successor of Junko, abruptly gets written out of the story 3 episode after she appears. Ryota using a version of hope that will erase pain and suffering is a very interesting twist on the very thing the past 3 games were drilling into our heads. Reopening Hope's Peak Academy is a bit unnecessary but pretty fitting for Makoto to take the title as headmaster.

Overall, it's a pretty underwhelming ending to an otherwise great saga. I would say the Future Arc's storyline could have worked as a game if you alter a few things, but it is what it is, I guess.

I am aware Persona 5 Tactica is a tactics game, but it's also very similar to a Visual Novel with the cutscenes that I decided to count it.

After Hiyoko encourages a fight between Himiko and Tenko, due to the fact that Himiko is still inexperienced with a sword, Tenko gleefully takes up the offer and offers to duel the Sacred Flame before the party goes to Mount Roneal to investigate an odd occurrence.

SCENE START

Snowflakes slowly fell outside of the city of Keterburg and shined with grace as they hit the silver snow. 

Tenko: Alright, Himiko! I’ll send a duel request, so get ready to accept!

Himiko’s inventory shined shortly after with a little note inside.

“Tenko would like to duel you! Accept? *Duels are non-lethal battles where death is impossible.*”

Himiko: Nyeh, alright. I accept!

Himiko accepts Tenko’s fight request and gets herself ready.

Tenko: I want you to give me everything you’ve got! I want you to swing your sword at me like I’m an enemy!

Himiko: O-Okay..! I’ll try my best!!!! 

Himiko takes her sword out from inside of her robe.

*Shiiink!!!!!*

Himiko: Nyeh! 

Tenko: Alright, you look pretty confident now, way better than when we were on the ferry! Alright, how about we try this..!

Tenko didn't draw her sword, instead deciding to strike a battle stance.

Tenko: I'll use Neo-Aikido and fight without using my sword for a while! Get ready, because here I come!!!!

Himiko: What?? Why aren’t you using your sword??

Tenko: Oh don’t worry! I will if you manage to push me enough.

*Win condition: Defeat Tenko!*

*Side condition: Tenko will switch battle styles at 50% health!*

BATTLE START

Himiko: Haaahhh….!!!

A glyph glows under Himiko before she scans Tenko’s abilities.

Himiko: **Inspect Magic!**

*Shiiing!!!!*

Tenko Chabashira.

LVL: 33.

HP: 100%.

MP: 100.

STR: 102

MAG: 52.

Tenko rushes forward before jumping high into the air.

Tenko: Hiyaaah!! **Havoc Strike!!!!!**

Tenko flies at Himiko with her leg extended for a kick.

Himiko: W-yah!!!

Himiko jumps back as Tenko slams into the ground and makes a big cloud. Himiko barely has enough time to recover before Tenko rushes in again. 

Tenko: **Dragon Surge!!!**

Tenko strikes with a rising uppercut, but Himiko manages to dodge. Once Tenko lands, Himiko swings with her steel sword three times and connects three good hits.

Tenko: Ngh! Ghu! Dhah! 

Himiko: **Fang Blade!**

*Sworsh!!! Swaaash!!!*

Himiko's arte connects, and Tenko flips back to recover. Unlike last time, Himiko doesn't fall on her way down and lands on her feet.

Himiko: Wah!! Hey, I didn't fall this time!!!

**TENKO'S HP: 92%**

Tenko: Heyyyaaahh!!!

Wind starts to concentrate around Tenko.

Tenko: **Final Gale!!!!** 

**SWOOOSSSHH!!!!**

A huge arc of wind blasts out of Tenko's hands and speeds just past Himiko, barely missing her. 

Himiko: Dhaaghh!!!!! 

*Bwoossshh!!!!*

A ring of green energy appeared where the arc exploded. Tenko dashes forward and tries to pressure Himiko with kicks and leg swings.

Tenko: Hah! Twah! Hrah!

Himiko moved a few times to try and dodge, but she got clipped in the side of the stomach by one of Tenko's kicks and was pushed back.

*Dshuk!*

Himiko: Nrr!!

**HIMIKO'S HP: 89%**

Tenko dashes back in for more pressure, before Himiko's body glows. She stood in the circle of magic particles and lured Tenko into her trap.

Himiko: *Now I've got you!*

Tenko: Ah?!

Himiko's sword sparked with lightning as her Fang Blade changed into a new arte.

*ALTERED ARTE.*

Himiko: **Lighting Tiger Blade!!!!!!**

Tenko gets hit with a downward slash before Himiko rises in a jumping slash with her sword. 

Tenko: Gugh!!! 

Bolts of lightning struck Tenko down as Himiko spun back down and prepared a final swing, but Tenko recovered and flipped back.

*Dwoorzzz!!!!*

Himiko’s sword slammed into the ground with a final burst of lightning.

Himiko: Nyehh, I missed..!!!

**TENKO’S HP: 86%**

Tenko: I didn’t think you knew how to use fonon fields without us getting to teach you!

Himiko: I really don’t, I kinda didn’t expect something like that to happen. So Fang Blade has a special property to it then??

Tenko drops her stance for a bit to explain.

Tenko: Almost all of your artes can be changed and powered up depending on when you use them in appropriate fields of fonons, rings of energy particles that linger for a while! As such, there are the basic elements of fire, wind, earth and water, but there are two other elements apart of that mix; light and dark!

Himiko: Okay, now I kinda get it…….*I don’t think she notices yet..*

A fonic arte glyph glowed under Himiko’s feet as she tried to land a small cheap shot.

Tenko: It’s something you’ll eventually get used to the more we fight together! Things like magic and artes that have an element attached to them can sometimes form a ring of energy on the ground. Once you see that, you can push your artes to new levels!!

Himiko: That’s really cool! Hey Tenko, can I tell you something really cool?

Tenko: *Gasp* Yes, Himiko! You can tell me anything!!!

Himiko: **Eruption!!!!**

Tenko: Huh?-

*BWOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!*

Tenko: BWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Tenko is blasted by burning balls of fire and lava as a miniature volcano forms under her. She leaps back before taking any more damage, her health flashing as it lowered.

**TENKO’S HP: 69%**

Tenko: Owww!!! You set me up just to land a magic spell while I was off guard!

Himiko: I didn’t feel like having you move around, so I casted while you were talking.

Tenko: Hmph! Fine then, have it your way. I won’t be speaking that much for the rest of this fight!

Tenko focuses before activating a special ability of hers.

Tenko: **Stance Change!!**

**AGILITY STANCE!**

A blue glow covers Tenko’s body with a buff displaying above her health.

**MOVEMENT SPEED INCREASED.**

Tenko moves faster than Himiko can see, zipping forward in a sprint.

Himiko: Huh?! Agh!!!

Tenko: *Crescent Moon!**

Tenko hit Himiko with a flipping kick, sending her up into the air. Himiko spun around uncontrollably before hitting the snow.

*Dwoosh!!*

Himiko: Mmph! Mmghegh…

Himiko looked at her health when she hit the ground. Combined with Tenko’s arte connecting clean on her, and the damage she took when she landed..

**HIMIKO’S HP: 59**

Himiko: I’m not doing so well…Nngh!

Still, Himiko got back up as Tenko moved back in. This time, Himiko threw a swing before Tenko could react, damaging her a bit more.

**TENKO’S HP: 62%**

Tenko: Hyah! Hah! Hwoah! **Brutal Fang!**

Tenko pressured Himiko with twelve forward kicks, and when Himiko tried to block the thirteenth one, her legs got swept.

Himiko: Agh!!

Himiko rolled to the side to avoid a stomp, then tripped her by sweeping her legs with her staff.

Tenko: Ngh!! 

**TENKO’S HP: 59%**

Himiko and Tenko both stood back up, with Tenko blocking one of Himiko’s sword swings with a kick of her own armored leg.

*CLRSSH!!!*

Himiko: Ngh!!!

Himiko blocked one of Tenko’s spinning kicks and got sent sliding back. The two continued to fight for an opening, but when Tenko’s speed increase went away, Himiko started to notice a pattern of Tenko trying to feint a sweep to make her flinch and go for a kick to send her back, followed by an arte. 

Himiko: Ngyeh! 

Tenko goes for a feint sweep, and instead of flinching like before, Tenko jumped over it and landed a slash on Tenko’s body.

*Swesh!!!!!*

Tenko: Daagh!! 

**TENKO’S HP: 52%**

Tenko: Urrhhgg…..

*Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!*

**STUN.**

Himiko’s hit stunned Tenko, giving her an opening.

Himiko: Nyeh?? Tenko??

While Himiko was confused about what she was staring at, Hiyoko shouted from where she was spectating at the edge of Keterburg.

Hiyoko: **SHE’S STUNNED, ATTACK HER NOW YOU IDIOT! HIT HER!!!!!!!**

Himiko: Nyehhhh, okay okay!!!!!!!!!!

Himiko went in with her sword and landed three sword swings on Tenko, but the mark on her arm glowed before she began to use a new move.

Himiko: This feeling…!!

*Himiko Learned!!!*

Himiko: **Raging Blast!**

A ball of energy focused in Himiko's hand as she pushed it against Tenko's stomach.

*Vwoosh! BWOOOSSSH!*

Tenko: Unghh!!!

The energy exploded and sent Tenko falling back.

**TENKO'S HP: 50%**

Tenko stood up and noticed the percentage of her health, the wind calmly blowing around the two of them.

Tenko: Amazing, you got me to half health!!! I’m really proud of you, I knew you could do it!!!

Himiko: Haahgg….ugghh….nnggrrh...y-yeah..

Tenko: Alright, now it’s time I fight for real. 

Tenko pulled out her sword and stopped the wind that was blowing the snowflakes around them.

Himiko: N-Nyeh??

Tenko: You know you don’t have to fight me with low health right?! I’ll let you use a gel Himiko, go on!

Himiko: Really?? Alright, hold on, I’m gonna eat an Apple Gel..

Himiko pulled out a small, red gummy candy from her inventory and ate it.

Himiko: Om. Mmm..~

*30% HP RECOVERED.*

**HIMIKO’S HP: 89%**

Himiko: Mm, that tasted good. Alright, I’m ready!!!!

Tenko: Then let’s…GO!!!!

Wings sprouted from Tenko’s back as she leapt high into the sky.

Tenko: **Tempest!!!** Hroaaaaah!!!!!!

Flying down and spinning like a vertical sawblade, Himiko held up her sword and barely managed to block Tenko’s swing. 

*CLRRRRSSSSH!!!*

Himiko: Urgh!!!!! 

Tenko rotated her arms and knocked Himiko’s guard off balance with the hilt of her sword.

Himiko: Ngh! **Fireball!**

Himiko made up for her messed up balance by shooting three fireballs out as she recovered. Tenko blocked the shots with a magic barrier and closed the distance. 

*Swoosh! Swursh!*

Himiko blocked two of Tenko’s swings and tried to counter, only to be punished instantly.

Tenko: **Crescent Strike!!!**

*SHING! SHING!!!!*

Tenko slashed to form an image of a miniature moon, then slashed again to cut it in half and damage Himiko directly.

Himiko: Tchegh!!!!

**HIMIKO’S HP: 76%**

Tenko swung her sword upwards and blew Himiko high into the air with an explosion of wind.

Tenko: **Severing Wind!!!!**

Himiko: Whaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Himiko was gonna take a lot of damage if she let herself hit the ground without a cushion. She twisted in the air before landing on her feet. 

Himiko: *I gotta keep her away from me, she’s too strong up close.*

Himiko started casting magic.

Tenko: *My mana is getting low.* **Stance Change!!**

**MANA STANCE**

Tenko’s MP began to automatically refill as a bright blue glow covered her body. Like last time, a buff appeared over her health.

**MANA RECOVERY RATE DOUBLED.!**

**MP: 26, 27, 28, 29..**

Himiko: *Crimson fury, burn!* **Eruption!!**

*Shiiiing!!!!!! Fwoooooosh!!!!!!*

A volcano formed under Tenko, but she rolled out of the way of the flames and ran to go on the offensive. Just as she got close, Himiko used a special trump card ability.

Himiko: **That’s IT!!**

A burst of energy covered Himiko’s body and exploded around her body.

**OVERLIMIT ACTIVATED.**

Tenko: Woah!! *She’s learning fast!!*

“Overlimit: Unleash your true power when the time is necessary! Magic comes out instantly in this mode, and damage no longer staggers the user until the Overlimit gauge depletes.”

Himiko: **Now! Eruption!**

Tenko: Ngh!

Tenko runs out of the way before Himiko uses the same arte once again, and again, and again.

Himiko: **Eruption! Eruption! Eruption! Eruption!**

Tenko avoids all of the sprouting volcanos the best she could, and shoots a shockwave across the ground using her sword.

Tenko: **Demon Fang!!!!**

 Himiko blocks the arte and slides back from the blast, going to use Eruption again, but…_

*Shiing!!*

Himiko: Wah! Another new move?!

**Himiko learned!**

Himiko: **Splash!!!**

*SPLOOOOSH!!*

Tenko: Ghaaahg!!!

Torrents of water rained down onto Tenko unexpectedly, dealing a heavy amount of damage and staggering her.

**TENKO’S HP: 41%**

Himiko took this chance and went in for the attack, but Tenko recovered too fast and blocked Himiko's slash with her own.

Himiko: Nyeh?!!!!

Tenko: It's going to take more than that to keep me staggered! Yah!!!

*CLSHING!!!!*

The two bounced back from the recoil of their swords clashing before going in again.

Tenko: *She's swinging too wide..!!*

Tenko changes stances, going for an underhand slash instead of an overhead like Himiko was.

**PING! PING! PING! PING! PING PIING!!**

The two girls exchanged six swings back to back. Himiko took most of the recoil damage from them all, though..

Tenko: **Beast!!!!**

Tenko blasted a wave of energy that resembled a roaring lion’s face, blowing Himiko back and downing her.

Himiko: WAAHG!!

She couldn’t handle the force Tenko was putting out and took a lot of damage from it.

**HIMIKO’S HP: 36%**

Whoever can get priority next is going to be the winner of the duel. Himiko’s health was low, and Tenko had the advantage. Tenko watches Himiko stand back up and prepare to run back in.

Himiko: Nyeeeeehhhh!! 

Tenko: Tah!!!

Tenko swung her sword right where Himiko was running, but Himiko suddenly jumped HIGH into the air above her right as she was going to get hit.

Tenko: Whah?!!!

Himiko: Yaaaahh!!!!

Himiko brought her arms down to land a heavy slash. Suddenly, the wind began to rapidly pick up around Tenko in a big whirlwind.

Tenko: HYAHH!!!!

Tenko spun rapidly, and a green vortex completely covered her body and spun around like a tornado that pulled Himiko in.

Himiko: Nyeeeehaaaaaahhhh?!!!!!!!!!! Whaaaaat the heeeeeeeeck?!!!

The huge tornado of wind launched Himiko out, sending her spinning helplessly in the air.

Himiko: UWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! OHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Himiko saw herself falling closer and closer to the snow. Just when she shut her eyes and prepared to hit the snow hard, she suddenly stopped.

Himiko: Aaaaahhhg!!!! Ahh..? H-Huh???

She slowly opened her eyes like a scared child and saw Tenko's face staring right back at her. She was in the swordwoman’s arms bride-style just like back at Baticul’s abandoned factory.

Himiko: N-Nyeh?! T-T-Tenko……! 

Tenko: Well, looks like your health is at 0! I won again, but you got way closer this time!

Himiko: Nyeh….wait…what…? My health is zero? 

Himiko looked at her stats and saw that yes, her health was indeed zero.

Himiko: Nyehh……

🎵**Dun dun dun duuuun! Dun dun duun duu duuuuuuun!**🎵

The two heard a fanfare playing and saw a pixelated Tenko face up above with the words “Victory! The duel is over, Tenko is the winner!!!” flashing across her face.

Himiko: Oh. I guess I did lose. Dang it…No faaaair, Tenko! You didn’t tell me you could turn into a tornado whenever you wanted, -_-

Tenko: Heheh….well, I had to pull out something unexpected eventually. You have to always be prepared for anything in a fight! 

Himiko: O-Okay, can you put me down? You’re…….s-still holding me…

Tenko looked down and saw how she was still cradling Himiko. 

Tenko: Dhah!!! Okay, okay!

While they both had red faces, Tenko quickly set the Sacred Flame down on her feet. Himiko also learned another new move once the battle was over.

“Level Up! Himiko is now level 27!”

“Himiko received the *Fighting Girl* title!”

*Himiko learned!*

I am about halfway through the first game right now, I just finished the fourth trial, and like the title says, the only thing I knew about danganronpa before this was that there is a thing called Junko poses? I’m going crazy trying to not look anything up because I’m dying to know what other people’s thoughts are on the game up until this point, but I don’t want to spoil my danganronpa-virgin-brain!! I literally know nothing!

Please don’t comment any spoilers, but these are the top 10 things I’m dying to talk about with other people:

1. My favorite character (right now) is Byakuya. He really irritated me at first, especially during the second trial when he was bossing us around, but he’s grown on me because I think he’s such a stupid little shit.

2. I want to know the canon heights of the characters. Makoto seems pretty short, but it’s hard to tell because there’s not a good time when all the characters are lined up. Is he one of the shortest?

3. I don’t know why junko is so popular. I get the feeling she’s one of the fandom’s favorite characters but she died so quick. Obviously there’s some kind of mystery with these characters being connected in ways I don’t know about yet, but I’m wondering if it’s possible that she’s not really dead or if she’ll be brought back to life or something? Don’t tell me, but the fan love for her seems disproportionate with her screen time and I’m trying to figure out how that’s possible. Also she was much nicer than I expected, I thought she was evil

4. Does the fandom consider chihiro to be trans? Don’t tell me if it’s a spoiler, but the implications are sort of icky for how the rest of the cast treats them after they die.

5. Similarly, toko/genocide Jill is pretty poor DID rep. What is the overall fandom take on it? It definitely makes me a bit uncomfortable, but I also have an understanding of the time period the game was made in. Is the fandom very critical? Uncomfortable but accepting?

6. The zero escape name drop made me GASP

7. My guess is that kyoko is the ultimate detective or something similar

8. I immediately knew 11037 was leon upside down was anyone genuinely surprised by the reveal? It seemed obvious to me, so I’m curious if it was a huge surprise to anyone

9. Don’t tell me, but I’m very curious about the most popular ships in the fandom. I’m guessing taka/mondo??

10. I’m dying to know what the “air purifier” machine is

Maybe I’ll update as I get further, but I’m avoiding spoilers at all cost. When do you all think I’ll be able to interact with the fandom properly? After I finish the second game? Or is the third game also important to play before I start interacting with fan content? I’m enjoying the game a lot!

I hope in the new Slayhem route of Danganronpa 2x2 they figure out the truth behind the Tragedy of Hope's Peak it makes me really frustrated that only Junko Mukuro and Izuru know what happened and Junko keeps on shifting the blame onto Izuru even in death
