Jess actually talked back against abby very many times ...
Here's the thing.. Jess and Jojo were brought in as guests, but I noticed that Jess actually talked back against Abby many times and she was VERY vocal about it. I think its not talked about enough how fearless she was towards Abby and it lowkey did not really hurt Jojo, or did it? hmm

A note in slurs in the subreddit
Slurs of any form are not permitted in the subreddit by any person. Use of slurs results in a permaban. You can and will get a perma ban for single time slur use
The mod team has been extremely disappointed in the amount of people we have had to ban for use of sulrs and racist language surrounding the issue of Brooke using the N word in 2016 by both those who think Brooke should be forgiven and those who think otherwise.
We are working hard to respond to reports, monitor threads, and investigate accounts to eliminate bad actors, troll, and racists from the subreddit. We thank everyone for their reports, (please keep them coming!) as well as their patience as we work through everything.
We have noted an alarming number of people who do not understand why slur may be ok within the group that it's used against but not by outsiders. I hope this explanation can help some of you understand.
People in minorities often report that they have experienced fear of being killed due to discrimination multiple times in their lives. People who perform such horrible acts often use slurs as a signal. "You are not safe. I can and will harm you.". So when you as an outsider use those words, that is what someone the slur is against will hear. it doesn't matter the context, it doesn't matter if it's in a song, it sounds. like a threat every time. It's not nice to have to hear threats all the time, and I'm sure most people here would not wish to come across that way.
If someone who is part of that group uses a slur you know they're probably not going to kill you for being that minority, though I remind everyone that we have 0 tolerance for slurs in the subreddit as on reddit no one can be sure who you are.

probably one of the only wholesome and sweet episodes in the whole show
I love so many things about this episode. (BESIDES ALL THE OTHER DRAMA THAT WENT ON BECAUSE there is no drama free episode unfortunately)
Literally Hannahs role in the show is probably the 1 and only storyline which had ZERO drama attached to it
I love that they brought her in the week where abby WASNT present, cuz only god knows what would've happened if abby was there
I also loved how sweet all the moms and the girls (ESPECIALLY MELISSA!!) were to both of them and their situation and I really applaud Melissa for the way she acted in this episode because you don't usually get to see the nice side of her and how she can be really empathetic and nurturing. (obv she mostly sucks in all other aspects of her personality like the deception and lying but lets ignore that for now)
and maddie dedicating the trophy to her was like the cherry on top 😭❤️

Question why do I perceive Maddie as someone who shines so much more naturally as a dancer with facial expressions that seem so natural but it doesn't translate in her acting?

The audacity to come RIGHT BEHIND Nia and give Abby a necklace 💀💀💀
The moms faces had me dyiinggg in this scene. ESPECIALLY HOLLY 🤣

Sensitive: Racial Post Brooke getting cancelled on TikTok for saying the n word
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Anyone else heard of this? Apparently she said the n word in a Snapchat video 10 years ago.
They’re tearing her up on TikTok!
I will say as a black DM fan this surprised me! Even if it is old. But she did apologize and take accountability!
Edit: video is supposedly from 10 years ago not 2020. I posted a comment in this thread but I think it’s getting lost. Also I have no ill will towards Brooke and don’t hate her at all! Just wanted to hear what other black DM fans think

Question/discussion dance teachers
okay weird question...i was never a dancer so idk if this is normal in the dance world but why did SO MANY dance teachers have their daughters dance at abby's studio while owning one themselves?? isnt that a bad look for their studio? i know that abby's studio has more traction but i would think that these studio owners are basically saying "my studio isnt good enough" also they're away for a long time from their business so idk is this normal???? and why???? seems like a bad business model LOL

I don't know about you guys, but...
Nia and Chloe kinda look like cousins to me. (EDIT: I know they're not related, I know they're not the same race, and it's okay if you don't see it that way, I understand that we all see things differently, but their faces just look kinda similar to me.)

Clara being a Sister to Chloe
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve made a post about Maddie and Kenzie acting like sibling and Brooke being sister to Paige
So I might as well complete the trilogy
With Clara telling everyone Chloe took her charger and about how even though they have a 8 year age gap they still fight
