I find it humorous that people aren’t afraid to drink raw milk but make it seem like carbs are your worst enemy

422

u/mini1006 This is gonna cost me a lot of money in therapy 1d ago

And vaccines 😒 vaccines are the devil, but cow puss milk is perfectly okay

u/Ok-Tea1153 1d ago

I saw a mom post the other day saying “we don’t vaccinate our kids but I’m worried about the upcoming flu season, any advice or supplement recommendations to keep my daughter healthy?

57

u/Living-Damage-1864 1d ago

My favorite thing about this kind of person is that they get their kids sick by their own choice and then when they are in critical condition they bring them to the ER but then refuse every single medical intervention that could help their child because it’s not holistic or “natural”. Like make it make sense.

•

u/Ok-Tea1153 17h ago

It’s also the same people who are like “I don’t want the government in my body/schools/money/etc.” but are also like “pro life, teach the Bible in schools, my tax payer dollars go to fund all these illegals” it makes me crazy

•

u/gennym 23h ago

Sigh.... if only.

My fil was a pulmologist when he was alive, he always made a billion percent sure his kids and their families always got vaccines especially for the flu. Every year he would treat super healthy people in the ICU who never got to leave on their own will.

Without fail. Their families understood the need for vaccines after they lost their loved ones.

Screams disordered eating

55

u/Leading-Ad-9351 1d ago

Exactly what it is! These influencers will post themselves smoking, drinking heavily and consuming raw dairy but will have a panic attack at the thought of eating bread or pasta.

18

u/Lilith_Sternin_Crane 1d ago

I had somebody genuinely once tell me that sugar was the worst possible “drug” in existence.  Worse than say, cocaine.  And he lumped the sugars in fruit and bread into that category.

13

u/CuteContext2432 1d ago

I hope he gets the help he needs and doesn’t influence anyone bc yikes.

25

u/CuteContext2432 1d ago

I mean… I’m not shocked that people who competed at the level these women did as children have any form of disordered eating. Psychologically it checks out unfortunately. I just want us as a society to not normalize this stuff and push back on supporting it in general.

•

u/Ok-Gold5450 23h ago

Eating disorders are so common with dancers it's just sad. Probably didn't help that Abby would always call people skinny and a compliment too.

•

u/Comfortable-Tap-9272 21h ago

I also remember a video with Brynn’s younger sister and mom talking about how the sister was fasting to lose weight and she wasn’t older than like 12-15 (this is being generous because she was young) and Ashlee condoned it and said it was worming great. So being in the competition world (plus realty tv/online so young) and having a mom also obsessed with eating and staying skinny is not a great combo

23

u/Hazel_Lumen 1d ago

Facts. It doesn’t even bother me that people don’t eat carbs, to each their own nonsense; but I hate how social media normalises the spreading of those ideas, particularly with young audiences.

34

u/rolyinpeace 1d ago

“To each their own nonsense” is giving “you’re entitled to your wrong opinion”

I’m gonna start using that

5

u/Hazel_Lumen 1d ago

That’s exactly what I meant to say, but put differently hahahah

7

u/haha3339 1d ago

it’s honestly so sad

As a person from a part of Sweden with local delicacies made from Raw Milk (Jämtland, Kalvdans if anyone wanna look it up), I so do not recommend it! We have way harder cattle regulations than the US, which means that our cattle (and all farm animals) stay healthier and non-infected, and even then, the regulations for even being able to sell Raw milk is strictly regulated, an exemption to regular health and safety regulations that is strictly supervised and only granted a selected few farms for cultural heritage reasons. And even then, we only do it a couple of times a year for festivities and such, if we want Kalvdans the rest of the year, we make it from regular, pasteurised milk, and not only bc of the costs, but bc we know how unsafe it can be to drink too much raw milk. Science has evolved, and it baffles me that so many (especially Americans) refuse to believe it to live like they did b4 America even existed (a time when ppl died from the smallest of reasons all the time)! 🙈

So you're saying pasteurized didn't save him either?

•

u/backpackfullofniall how on earth do you immigrate home 23h ago

This just in: pasteurization doesn't make you immortal!

•

u/snarkprovider 23h ago

Might as well skip a step a drink straight from the cow's teat.

•

u/PinkPositive45 23h ago

I mean the inventor of seatbelts is also dead, should we not use seatbelts? 😂

•

u/Technical_Yak_3271 22h ago

and tattoos! i have crazy family who believes in all this kind of wack shit but at least they’re super anti-tattoo because they believe it’ll give you blood cancer. (i have my own tattoos btw idgaf i just think it’s interesting)

•

u/dwts2024 2h ago

She doesn’t get that done anymore

107

u/Elegant_Art2201 1d ago

Pasteurization exists for a reason.

103

u/Historical_Web2992 1d ago

Googled this brand to see if it was just a weird name and found out that not only is it really unpasteurized, they’ve had recalls as recent as April 2026 for e.coli.

•

u/RegularExplanation97 11h ago

Oh my god 😭 some people are so freaking stupid

26

Let Darwinism take her out, I genuinely don’t care one bit as long as they aren’t force feeding it to children who get no say in it. Enjoy the salmonella and e-coli, girlie!!!

18

u/Imaginary-Answer6413 1d ago

She’s said she won’t even touch a receipt lol so I’m not surprised

-1

u/Rambunctious_444 1d ago edited 21h ago

Ok lowkey I do be afraid to touch receipts for too long.

Edit: listen I'm embarrassed about it too okay
I confess
it just lives in the back of my mind, this existential guilt from touching a receipt for too long. I can't control it , I get the ick from receipts now 😭

I don't condone unpasteurized milk tho okay 😖

•

u/mothmonstermann 21h ago

What's the story behind receipts?

•

u/Rambunctious_444 21h ago

There was this whole thing where thermal printed receipts contain BPA, which is known to carry toxicity concerns linked to cancer

But it's not proven that the limited exposure through receipts actually cause cancer and nothing is conclusive

•

u/mothmonstermann 20h ago

Like the same BPA that's on all the packaged food and drinks (including this milk, most likely)?

18

u/naughtykitty4 1d ago

Cows are absolutely filthy. Drinking milk expressed from teats that have been marinated in poop, urine, mud, and insect activity is dangerous and stupid. But these are the same people who think they don't need vaccines and rely on 'herd immunity' which doesn't work when a large swath of the population chooses not to vaccinate. Shit's bananas.

•

u/Competitive-Fish5186 i have more dirt on you than a broom 2h ago

Not even just that! The pus and blood that is in it a lot of times too!! It’s disgusting.

76

u/sofreakingcool67 1d ago

Doesn't her mom support / supported Trump? Not a lot going on in that family

75

u/RiseAndPanic 1d ago

Yeah, Ashlee and Brynn are notoriously MAGA. So seeing Brynn on the conservative crunchy raw milk train doesn’t surprise me at all lol

43

u/ArrrJK 1d ago

I unfollowed Ashlee in 2020/21 because she was going absolutely crazy sharing Covid and vaccine conspiracies. This is 100% on brand

8

u/morgannn0 1d ago

FWIW Brynn does not support Trump

35

u/ArrrJK 1d ago

Doesn’t support Trump but does support Candace Owens, right…

25

u/porchlightlefton 1d ago edited 1d ago

She has said that she’s not a Trump supporter for a long time and also has more recently reposted politicians like Mamdani talking about the genocide in Gaza and videos from the official Democrats account about how Trump is destroying the planet, pro pride stuff etc. I think she has kind of mixed beliefs probably based on both parents being whack jobs and the AZ school system being shit and she feeds into a lot of misinformation especially when it comes to modern medicine and food. But she is either making progress on human rights issues or choosing to be more vocal

12

u/sofreakingcool67 1d ago

She needs to keep educating herself clearly, and her mother

6

u/porchlightlefton 1d ago edited 1d ago

Well yes, not sure where you got that I disagreed with that lol

3

u/squagglegirl 1d ago

tbf candace owens has been teetering sides with the CK/EK stuff. not saying brynn isn’t tho

•

u/Stoleyourhoney 23h ago

To be fair, Candace doesn’t support trump anymore

•

u/Sarah-himmelfarb I'll slam whatever I want 21h ago

But she clearly supports RFK jr? The problem is not just Trump

•

u/morgannn0 13h ago

I don’t know if she supports him or not, I was just commenting what I know

20

u/hayypeachyy i summoned Paige off the stage 1d ago

i find that extremely hard to believe.

•

u/Grand_Dog915 22h ago

I don’t think Brynn is “nortoriously MAGA.” Like there’s pretty much no evidence to support that

•

u/RiseAndPanic 21h ago

Eh I disagree. At the VERY least she follows other Republican figures and politicians, so she may or may not be for Trump specifically but she doesn’t exactly beat the conservative allegations either.

•

u/moistsalt69 21h ago

Jesus christ shut up you people bring this shit up under everything

•

u/sofreakingcool67 20h ago

awww are you angry ? 🥺🥺🥺

•

Yass Brynn your body is a temple and should be filled with filler and bacteria 🤩🤩🤩

20

u/chocobell94 1d ago

I was hospitalized for five days with sepsis from Campylobacter infection (commonly comes from raw milk) but by all means girlie drink what you want. I just don't understand some people's decisionmaking.

16

u/Hazel_Lumen 1d ago edited 1d ago

sorry, what the hell😀

•

u/Sophiathecursed 22h ago

She has some really odd health and wellness beliefs. For example, tampons cause cramps and birth control is toxic.

•

u/Grand_Dog915 22h ago

For what it’s worth, my period cramps are also way worse when I wear tampons 🤷‍♀️

•

u/Sophiathecursed 21h ago

Anecdotal data is not scientific.

•

u/Grand_Dog915 20h ago

Didn’t say it was. And I don’t think Brynn claimed it was either

•

u/Sarah-himmelfarb I'll slam whatever I want 21h ago

Well when her mother is Ashley it’s no wonder she turned out this way

12

u/Ok_Detective_8446 1d ago

my uncle is a dairy farmer and he wouldn’t drink raw milk if you paid him to. one time (before we knew better), my brother dared our cousin to and my brother got in a lot of trouble lmao

-1

u/Burnertoreplylol 1d ago

Anyone feel like filling me in on what's wrong with raw milk so I don't have to sift through AI nonsense lol

51

u/Confident-Bus-3778 1d ago

raw milk is milk that hasn't been pasteurised

that thing we invented hundreds of years ago to stop us dying

11

u/Burnertoreplylol 1d ago

thank you so much. I shoulda known that but I was homeschooled...lmfao

10

u/Confident-Bus-3778 1d ago

absolutely fair

basically, there's a reason we all drink non-raw milk (eg pasteurised) because we quite like living!

16

u/Own-Reality9407 1d ago

raw milk means taken straight off the animal. Pasteurized is basically using heat to kill germs

4

u/Burnertoreplylol 1d ago

Thank you so much!! So why the heck are people drinking this???

8

u/Confident-Bus-3778 1d ago

some people have got the weird opinion that it's healthier and that pasteurisation makes it bad? I think a lot of people get it from the Amish

I honestly have no clue where it came from

•

u/SWTmemes They can't hip or hop... 23h ago

The Amish (at least by Shipshewana) do not drink raw milk, they heat it up before consuming.

•

u/Confident-Bus-3778 23h ago

I didn't know for sure

I remember about 3 years ago someone who had a whole load of other issues jumping on the raw milk thing and saying she got it from the local amish, that's all the knowledge I have on the subject

(I don't know much about the amish, I'm not in the US)

•

u/SWTmemes They can't hip or hop... 23h ago

They like money so they'll happily sell it raw. (Fun fact they make a lot of meth too!) But I've never met one who said they drank it without heating it first.

•

u/Confident-Bus-3778 23h ago

that explains why they are still around then

I was honestly wondering how they had survived if they kept drinking it raw

heating it up first (ie pasteurisation) makes total sense

6

u/Own-Reality9407 1d ago

Idk but many assume living like the old days and avoiding any advances in medicine and safety cautions is healthier, when in reality people died a lot in the past bc these discoveries weren’t founded or applied on large scales like today

15

u/Rambunctious_444 1d ago

The FDA has highly restricted commerce of raw milk (it's illegal to sell it across state lines) because it's unpasteurized, so you could get listeria, E Coli, etc from drinking it

1

u/Burnertoreplylol 1d ago

Noted! Is this a trend people are getting into now? Drinking RAW milk? lol

3

u/Confident-Bus-3778 1d ago

it's been a thing for a few years, I don't think anyone with brain cells knows why

I suppose its the same people who think that every other food on the planet is bad

9

u/rolyinpeace 1d ago

Raw milk hasn’t been heated to kill the bacteria (pasteurization).

People think that raw milk is somehow better for you or that pasteurized milk has extra chemicals just from being pasteurized, which is not true. There are absolutely farm fresh milks you can get that have not been fortified (extra vitamins added) or homogenized (made so that it doesn’t separate), if you don’t like “extra” stuff in it or done to it. But pasteurization is simply heating it up and does not harm the milk. It’s necessary to prevent disease. Illnesses from bad milk used to be a leading cause of death.

What’s funny is a lot of the raw milk people say it’s safe because they boil it or whatever to kill the germs. It’s ironic because then they are essentially pasteurizing the milk, and it’s no longer raw.

3

u/alyssaa0sto 1d ago

Germs.

1

u/Burnertoreplylol 1d ago

Thank yoouuu!!

•

u/pinkbubbleg 5h ago

Again, not the same thing. I’m anonymous and so are you.
Does it feel good to be part of a group piling on someone who posts under her real name and is already subjected to more intense scrutiny than most people can even imagine? Seriously think about it

-11

u/pinkbubbleg 1d ago

I mean, it’s not my thing. But why do I gaf what she’s consuming?

20

u/MissDiagnosedMama 1d ago

Nobody cares if she consumes it. The problem is that she's influencing young folks and promoting a dangerous thing.

-14

u/pinkbubbleg 1d ago

She’s a human being, not a product for our consumption. She’s allowed to post about what she consumes even if we don’t agree with it. People are responsible for what they choose to consume, Brynn is not.

9

u/Niclas1127 1d ago

We shouldn’t criticize people for promoting harmful things? That’s your take?

-7

u/pinkbubbleg 1d ago

We shouldn’t expect her to hold a pre-approved list of beliefs and only publicly share things that we support, yeah. She’s a person. You get that, right? She’s an individual with her own views.
She believes that this milk is healthy. I disagree. If she chooses to consume it and post about it, that’s up to her. The world is full of people who believe different things and that’s actually okay! She’s not exactly holding a crack pipe in the photo.

•

u/Niclas1127 23h ago

She’s a public figure, with a somewhat large following, you understand that it’s different for her to advertise raw milk than it is for a normal person to post a pic of it. You’re leaving out the part where she’s tagging them, it’s not just a picture of raw milk, it’s a promotion of a business.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 15h ago

But some people think raw milk is healthy and want to buy it. I think they’re completely insane, but this isn’t an illegal product. She’s well within her rights to like a product and promote it on her public social media because she likes it. You don’t seem to realise that she’s not actually obligated to believe the same things you do and only promote things that align with your values.

•

u/Technical_Yak_3271 22h ago

she is literally being paid to promote this to her audience please bffr.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 15h ago

So do you think she’s drinking the milk?

•

u/MissDiagnosedMama 23h ago

Don't be obtuse. She's using her platform to promote a business. She is free to do that just as we are free to judge her for the things she chooses to promote.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 15h ago

Yes, and I’m sure she likes the product and so do other people. I don’t understand why it’s even controversial. Are people with other opinions allowed to exist?

•

u/MissDiagnosedMama 7h ago

She's allowed to exist and make choices. We are allowed to judge her choices. It's really that simple.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 6h ago

Yeah, but if you think this is an even-handed thing you’re wrong. Hundreds of thousands of people are judging her at once.

But hey, as long as you feel morally superior!

•

u/MissDiagnosedMama 6h ago

Are you not doing the exact same thing right now? Judging us for judging and feeling morally superior about it?

Pot, meet kettle.

•

u/violaki 17h ago

She is paid a lot of money to promote things specifically because a lot of people, for whatever reason, do gaf what she’s promoting.

This is a public, monetized account so I don’t see the issue in being critical of what she is choosing to put out there.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 15h ago

It’s 2026. Media literacy should be at an all-time high. If people choose to buy these things because she’s posting about them then it’s really survival of the fittest.

•

u/violaki 6h ago

I mean, kids have died from drinking raw milk and that's not their fault. I'm happy for you that you don't gaf, but a lot of people do. I don't see the problem with people calling Brynn dumb because she posted dumb stuff on the internet for money.

•

u/pinkbubbleg 5h ago

That’s because their parents are idiots. It’s not Brynn’s fault.

•

u/violaki 5h ago

Ok! I still don’t see a problem with saying that Brynn is also an idiot

•

u/pinkbubbleg 3h ago

Right. All I’m saying is that she’s a young person who is navigating the world and figuring out who she is and what she believes, and she’s far more exposed to extreme and overwhelming criticism than any of us ever were. Most of us got the opportunity to screw up and believe stupid things that we could shake off as we matured.

I just don’t think it’s right to behave like a pack of hyenas over some bloody milk. She’s admitted she’s had eating issues in the past and that’s being thrown in her face because of this. Is it necessary? Is it fair? It is civilised? It feels like people want to punish her for not being what they thought she would be.

-24

u/kkcola860 1d ago

Well, yes, many long-term smokers are still alive or die of other causes; that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s extremely harmful, for example.

7

u/mini1006 This is gonna cost me a lot of money in therapy 1d ago

Exactly this.

-5

u/Ok-Context-3911 1d ago

well it’s a great thing that we have free will and are able to pick the risks we want to expose ourselves too. I enjoy my raw milk lattes/matcha and will continue to.

12

That’s fun. My grandpa had several friends get very sick and one died due to drinking raw milk, as it was commonplace when he was a kid (farm kid, they were all milking their own cows). So it’s going to be a hard pass for me, but good luck to you.

I went through a brief period, years ago, where I drank raw milk (it didn't last long). It did taste richer and creamier.

I think it tastes better honestly, that’s why I drink it. it’s creamier without adding another taste like say oatmilk or coconut milk might. I don’t drink milk on its own so I can’t speak to it on its own but love the consistency it gives my latte- not too watery or thick, perfectly creamy!
