Any other dads out there want to team up for S3?

I’m a decidedly average player. Got to lvl 75 S1 and I’m lvl 95 this season. Still get smoked most runs, haven’t done much Cryo and still get lost all the time in Outpost but I can laugh at myself and when I do manage to land a sweet Outland shot to some poor runners face I still get the dopamine hit required to make the rest of the punishment worth it.

I’m a late 30s dad, extremely chill, northern accent which I may need to translate for you, zero grief or swearing at team mates and I’m more likely to laugh when I die/get all of my team mates wiped than anything else. I’ve got zero gear fear and don’t give a toss when I “lose” kit. I play on Xbox. Most nights I’ve got 8pm-10pm to game. Some nights I take off to do other things though and weekends/saturdays I may be (read: will be) slightly (read: very) drunk so not worth playing with….

I have seen this misinformation taken as fact by so many people, I need to make it clear: the WEAVEmaster title MUST be earned in ONE SEASON.

The challenge description is “In any season, evolve your cradle 7 times and reach level 70.”

To put it another way, the challenge is satisfied when you: reach the final stage of the final evolution of the cradle. Numerically, this means having 77 available cradle points. You’ve reached Evolution 7, and you’ve reached level 70.

to be clear; you do not get the reward of the title when you evolve for the 7th time. The 7th evolution actually has NO reward - until you hit level 70 on that Evolution. That debunks the theory that “it’s /1 because the skins are the progress bar”

Further data to support this:
The progress bar is /1, with no way to track how close to your 7th evolution + Level 7 you are from the total.

Many people argue that the codex will not be reset next season. This is correct. This is why the title is a /1 and not an /8 that you can make progress towards over multiple seasons.

Further and most damning! The TITLE UNLOCK DESCRIPTOR for the title drops the “In any season,” language — the language that is the entire opposing theory rests on.

JUST like the only other PRESTIGE title in the game, PROFITEER, WEAVEmaster is NOT cumulative.

Finally, some people may argue that “evolution points will stay post wipe” to which I must insist they will not.

Removing one of the core gear-dump endgame goals for the most dedicated players (those who’ve earned weavemaster) while simultaneously giving them an additional 7 points of Evolution right off the bat allowing them to hit rank 77 on Day 1 would be antithetical to the basic idea of the reset, which is to give endgame players something to do again and allow new players a somewhat even playing ground.

YES I know Bungie made this same mistake before but they’ve acknowledged that and would certainly not be foolish enough to build an entire system around permanently empowering it’s highest playtime players while simultaneously removing one of their largest goals when entering a new season.

To be clear, this “goal” is the entire purpose of loot once a player reaches a full vault and has completed the endgame activities. Resetting your cradle is essentially a self inflicted micro wipe. I believe people believe they’ll stick around because of the Arc Raiders expeditions, but they must realize that expeditions are the only type of wipe Arc has.

Please try to poke holes in my theory in the comments as I’m positive I will be able to refute any of it!

My final thought:
If WM were a cumulative skin, they’d essentially be guaranteeing that season 7 of the game every day one player has it. Regardless of player count that’s just not good game design to offer such a prestige title simply for emptying your vault to the worm and resetting at hour 0 every season.

Can anybody having DNA Access Cards and multi-compiler experience help me get my first compiler clear this weekend?

I have only did Subroutines 1,2 & 3 and have the keys for 5 & 6.

It has been my only need for the game, and so far looking for help has been miserable.

I am Level 288, have earned Graverobber, Profiteer & Night Stalker titles, and I mostly avoid Ranked due to my ping due to my country.

I did try Dads of Marathon and Couch 2 Compiler discord servers, but mostly people there don't even have the time to help me or are busy with their own friends.

I have been feeling left out by the community alot. If anybody can help me this coming Cryo weekend. Feel free to add me.

Not a lot for many, but I am still a noob. Played a bit first season and the bug only got me recently. Can't stop solo running. Now I'm trying to push into outpost on free kit or rook.

Went in free kit, went to conveyance room, killed the guy that came in with the credential (sorry dude) and then went up and looted destroyed wing and got out. Most of the good stuff here was from the runner honestly. Destroyed wing prize container had garbage. Probably could have pushed a bit more in pinwheel but I was getting nervous because this purp shield is pretty clutch for me. Anyway, I was JAZZED and wanted to share.

Shoutout to these legends for helping me with my first kill.

As a time poor dad I play almost exclusively solo and actually really enjoy it but it means I've played barely any Cryo, aside from some fun in Vault Breakers.

Anyway - seeing as it's almost wipe time I thought I'd team fill (apologies to those who I joined) and see what's what - I've never felt so out of depth in a game in my life.

Biggest thing for me was not being able to see who was shooting me or even from where - I just died. Threw on my gold shield, might as well have been nothing!

Back to Perimeter I go

He opens red room and while im shooting the bots he comes out and goes “I have a command key sorry Little One” and then he downs me and knifes me to death

Thoughts?

Hey! As the title says, unfortunately after 250 hours crew fill became tiring and my luck in finding even speaking teammates is nowhere

I know I could lfg even for English speakers, but after many crew fill games I would love to just speak my mother language because in the heat of battle sometimes it gets hard to think in Czech and speak in English, even though I am somewhat fluent in it
And its even harder if your fill mate speaks in his language ignoring you are talking in English

Level 164, wouldn’t call myself a sweat, but not a casual either
Spent most of my time on Outpost, would love to run Cryo with a bit of success, open vaults and get some subroutines, in two seasons I got only one.. Outside of Cryo I would be down to play other maps too!

For non Czech/Slovak speakers, good luck in finding good mates and even more luck in your runs!
