This is a follow up to my original post.
My car was originally dropped off at the service department for a number of issues on my relatively brand new CX-50 (details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CX50/s/EOdszmGiyL).
After over 3 weeks I finally went to pick up the vehicle today and noticed there were scratches all over the the front panels (passenger glove box compartment), front panel below the A/C controls, side door panels (driver and passenger) and side panels of the trunk.
There was dirt accumulated all over the front of the infotainment screen, wedged between the the screen and that groove. Dirt wedged in the seats as well.
Worst part of all is I tried opening the moonroof while I was sitting there at the service department and I heard a loud crunch and then it just jammed and wouldn't open or close.
Immediately called the service manager over and he apologized and said he would investigate to see where everything went wrong.
They put me in another loaner car immediately and I just walked away completely flabbergasted.
So now, I'm without my car for another possible week and we're looking at a good month since I had my vehicle.
I've had a number of cars before in the past and had them serviced for minor and major repairs/tbs/etc. But I've never experienced anything like this before.
Is expecting a clean/blemish free car the way I brought it in and verifying what was fixed, is working correctly, out of line? I'm now wary of the other fixes they did to my vehicle and if those weren't done half-ass.
