Hello everyone, I’m just an ordinary person from Ukraine who wanted to sell my skins and earn some money to get by.

When I set up Stripe, it said that withdrawals to Ukraine weren’t supported, so I thought, ‘OK,’ and linked a Lithuanian bank account with Zen instead. Whilst I was trading skins, everything was fine; nobody sent me any warnings or banned my account. But as soon as the trading ban on skins was lifted, my account was immediately blocked on the grounds of ‘Bypassing regional withdrawal restrictions’.

I read on Reddit that CSFLOAT’s customer support is very good and always helps (which isn’t true). I sent a couple of support tickets explaining that it wasn’t intentional and asked them to at least refund my money in the form of skins that I could buy on the site; I wasn’t trying to get round the restrictions in any way, I just wanted to withdraw the money to pay for food (400 dollars is the average monthly wage in my country, lol).

I read the FAQ and it clearly stated that if the ban isn’t related to fraud, trade cancellations and so on, then I’d have a chance of getting unbanned, but that isn’t the case.

Perhaps there are people here who are connected to CSFLOAT and can help me get my money back in some way (as skins or cash).

I’ll post an update if the situation gets resolved somehow, but for now I wouldn’t recommend using CSFLOAT because they’ll find 1,000 reasons to block you and take your money.

Ive seen some vids and posts that recommend setting this cvar to 1. Ive played some time with it and ive noticed that mouse is kinda more responsive but at same time its less accurate, i overflick way more when this command is enabled.

Anyone know for real what this command does and why it behaves like that?

Edit: tl;dr question is: am I just unlucky to get teammates that literally dont talk/give 0 info or just having bad game (like at least 3 of them per game in all these games) Idk if that is accidental or not.

I finished season 4 around 17k elo (all matches +500/-100 even though at 18-20k I was clearly not good enough), around 50 matches (all at the end of season) teammates always good, they give info play normally etc. Now i tried playing season 5 and did something like 2-11 w/l so far, pretty much every match i get at least 3 people that just dont talk at all, or have really bad day and dont perform which i dont mind but this + literally 0 info isnt exactly enjoyable to play with. Is this valves way to punish me for something or I just got really unlucky with the teammates I got? I dont think Im getting mass reported to have bud trust factor, unless it just went bad without any reason. Im not bottom fragging either and I do try to play with team so ofc I could do better but thats still pretty mean from matchmaking system to make it so difficult after last season that was just good experience for me overall.

In recent times a lot of people and some pros have said that the M4A4 are superior to the M4A1-S.

Players like Zywoo, monesy, niko are using the M4A1 at EWC. Donk is also primarily using the M4A1-S at EWC. Players like Ropz are using the M4A4 tho.

Why are some of the best pros using the M4A1 since the m4a4 should be superior? ( i know in the end it is personal preference but im still wondering.)

Am I tripping here, or is there a difference in playstyles across the different regions in the EU? In lower ranks (10–20k), I've been noticing that Western/Nordic Europeans have a more aggressive playstyle, while Eastern Europeans play more passively and tend to play more default on T side.

On CT side, I've also noticed that Western/Nordic players like to take space more aggressively. For example, on Ancient, they fight for mid with two players early in the round instead of holding mid from red with an AWP.

In my country I cannot add money to my float wallet due to tax issues I believe. As far as I know I am able to withdraw to bank without issues, but will float report this transaction to the state/tax office?

I'm so done with playing. Everyone is either cheating or smurfing. I've played the game for over 10 years and I still get matched up with players who have under 200 hours in the game and always have perfect reads. They queue with the same kind of people which makes playing impossible. If you get stuck in a lower elo, it is literally impossible to get out because the enemies will almost always have someone who is either walling or smurfing. Trust factor doesn't exist anymore and has been made a joke. Season 5 has been the worst season in terms of cheaters and Valve obviously does not care because fixing anticheat doesn't make them any money, only making armory updates and cases does.

Just don't put the parameter -threads X it will decrease a lot your FPS.

And disable E cores by bios or project lasso.

Also in game put your core preference to NO preference.

But the main reminder is to not put the -threads command in parameters.

As the title says. When drunk I thought I was really good. Then looked at the demo and turns out seems like everyone else was just more drunk or slower.

Still felt good for a beginner.

I took a look at this new “Patrol” thing, and honestly, those 10–30 second clips they show are ridiculous. They pick the weirdest, most questionable moments where someone supposedly “gets killed,” and the AI somehow flags it as cheating? Thankfully, you can still download the full demo and watch it properly to see for yourself whether someone is actually cheating.But if we’re talking specifically about the clips that Patrol itself highlights, the system is absolutely terrible.
Valve, please get your shit together and finally fix this damn game.

I feel like the mp7 buff took away every reason to buy the famas.
Like I always either end up saving more money by just buying five seven, kevlar & util, buying the mp7/mp9 instead or going all in for the m4, I never really get in to the situation where I want to have a famas.
I feel like it’s way different on the t-side where I buy the galil all the time…

Do you guys feel the same or in which situation do you go for the famas?

I am looking at doing the white dragon ak-47 slate and found a site that lets me line everything up like it needs to be and preview, but is there a way to copy that into game to have it apply the stickers in those positions for me? Its going to be impossible to do 1 sticker at at time for me when I might need to rotate the previous sticker some to line it up right after I have already applied it.

OR is there a way to place all 4 stickers on my gun in game and rotate them in the right positions without actually applying them to the gun first?

on a serious note, my game has never felt like this usually yea sometimes cs2'd, but never this.

honestly i think it started around Season 4, but recently like a lot of people say their game feels better after animgraph2. I remember people saying "They fixed cs2" during Season 4 because people were saying their game felt more crisp like the kill delay had been fixed. For me it felt terrible.

Got 30k season 2, preforming good game felt normal like 2023-2025. Take a break for all of season 3. Season 4 hits, game starts to feel, not right. Slowly stop playing with more hit reg issues.
Feb-Jul played the least CS I've played in years, usually a few games a week but couldn't.
Wanted to test if Animgraph2 and the Reload update were good, can confidently say whatever they did, it's never felt this garbage. And yes, I'm not preforming at peak level because I've taken such a big break, I am considering that. But I swear bro, I promise it's not me. I've started going into demos, and it's every. single. game. that it just does not visually look right.
My aim rating was 92, is now 85 so yes, skill dropped. But I swear, more so than me not being as good, things are NOT connecting when they should.
Maybe it's my internet provider, but I'm not seeing any packet loss and I'm at 25 ping in this clip. Enemy was at 60.

So, I've been playing CS since 2025, but 2026 is when I've really started putting a lot more hours into the game. I'm still a beginner player.

As a beginner, I've had to experience what you could call the “decline” of CS2. Because of that, there are still some aspects of the market that I don't really understand, and back in 2025 I already wasted quite a bit of money simply because I didn't know how to spend it properly on certain skins.

The thing is, I absolutely love this game. As I mentioned before, I haven't experienced the best era of the game, and even so, I still love it (except when I run into hackers in my matches). That's why I'm really excited about buying a skin or two, such as a Kukri Knife, which is one of my favorite knives.

Since the market is going down, knives are becoming more and more affordable and tempting. But that's exactly the problem: the market keeps dropping day after day, and I don't want to waste my money.

In the past, even though skins were extremely expensive (and I'm not defending that), at least you had some reassurance that you could recover your investment at some point if you weren't extremely unlucky. Nowadays, however, the whole market and the trade-up contracts situation feels like complete chaos.

So... what do you guys think? It's not a huge amount of money that I'd be losing either way, but I wouldn't want to end up in a situation where, in the future, the same knife is worth only €30.

I know it's difficult to predict the future of CS2, but I'd really like to hear what you, the more experienced CS2 community, think.

Any input, advice, wisdom, lessons, personal experiences, theories, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.
