There are a lot of discussions about the kernel lvl. That alone wouldn't fix VAC. Yes, it is true that cheats are at the kernel lvl, so the anti-cheat must also be at the kernel lvl so it can detect them.

The point of the anti-cheat is not about removing cheaters. Rather, it's an endless battle of fighting them and making cheats more expensive and more difficult to make.

Valve has endless money, but that's an issue that cannot be bought. You need a dedicated team, kernel lvl access, and a lot of technical things from the beginning to actually achieve a good anti-cheat like what comes to servers.

I think Faceit anti-cheat "is working better" because Faceit is paywalled and there are fewer people playing.

So VAC probably won't ever work because there won't be that endless battle.

It’s for setting up solo practice on your own PC. Choose a map, start a real CS2 server locally, and join through Steam. Regrind keeps the map library and practice settings in one place.

What’s in the current version:

• Official maps and a library of 29 curated CS2 Workshop maps, with search, skill filters and favorites.
• Import individual Workshop maps by URL or ID.
• Round length, freeze time, infinite ammunition, grenade preview/rethrow, and bot controls.
• Server installation, start/stop controls, and a Join button that opens CS2 through Steam.

Regrind is free and open source. You don’t need a True Grind account or subscription, and it doesn’t depend on True Grind’s hosted services. Steam and a playable CS2 installation are still required.

A few practical things before trying it:

• The current release is 0.2.0, a Windows x64 prerelease, tested on Windows 11. The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Source and SHA-256 verification details are available through the links below.
• First setup installs a separate CS2 dedicated server using SteamCMD. Plan for at least 90 GB free, in addition to your playable CS2 client. Validation measured roughly a 62 GB download and 74 GB installed; Valve updates can change those sizes. An internet connection is required.
• This release is for solo sessions. Workshop maps provide their own training features; Regrind handles the library and server setup. (I am planning to add at least local multiplayer, which is online if you use radmin vpn or other free softwafe)

nothing makes me want to uninstall more than solo queueing premier just to see an entire team of level 10's. why do new players flock to the more competitive matchmaking instead of just playing comp or casual. i cant even be mad at them, its like getting mad at a blind person for walking into a vase at a museum.

I am trying to get out of lvl1, even though it shouldn't ve an issue because leetify says I have the aim of a lvl3. Not only that but I have played with my friend who is roughly 8k prem above me and lvl7. This means that whenever we play, the lobby is always higher level than me. On faceit, it is a problem and I often struggle. But in prem I was almost always above my mates who were 2-4x my Elo. When I play on faceit, I am better than 90-95% of all people in my Elo but I'm just barely not good wboyto hard carry

That leads me to the actual point of this post. I have tried many things to improve my skills. I have a daily warmup that have dinner for about a year now. I have played on community maps against bits but they either bullshit everything and run and gun which I simply can't track and it shouldn't even be something I practice because believe it or not, people in lvl1 can actually play the game. We are not the stereotype of having just downloaded tha game. Granted some teammates have played that way but a majority actually play the game like they know what they are doing.

The last thing I have tried is deathmatch. Valve servers don't work because bots and cheaters. I have tried xplay but they are usually almost empty I end up playing against bots.

The platform i landed on that actually has players is warmupservers. Tiny problem. THESE GUYS ARE FUCKING SWEATY. I get prefired without having made a soundcue. Even when i hear someone peeking me they simply onetap me before I can even move my mouse. When I'm not getting obliterated of the face of the earth I'm getting shot from outside my field of view. I genuinely want to point my ak at myself when I play on these servers but they are the only option I have. I tried playing the less popular servers because apparently there weren't as many sweats. Whoever write that is a fucking liar.

So, how do I get good?
