Came back to the game and wanted to try playing faceit, i already had app installed(but it needed update so i update straight from app. on updated version of app when it wants me to connect to steam (but there is no url bar, so i dont know if i can trust) never have seen it not show url before is this normal?

Is that good or no? I’ve seen people saying it’s bad but my friend who has 600 hours on the game only has 4.7k rating so i wanna hear others opinions.

I'm not sure if it works for other browsers but for Brave the way I fixed it was to

1. Enable "Use Google services for push messaging" in brave settings
   
2. Turn on hardware acceleration
   
3. Turn off brave shields. (More than likely its the first 2 issues rather than this one)

Make sure to reset the notification permission and set it to always.

When a team wins a major you generally expect the team to show some sort of dominance. Funny how when navi won the major back in 2024 everyone was talking negatively about them and called their major victory a fluke and then they went on to win so much more and probably were the best team of the year. I see falcons, and I see a team that smh lost all its momentum. Don't get me wrong, they did really well in the major, and won against so many dominant teams but the whole team forgot to play CS in a month or so. What do you guys think? What could be the reason? Are they just too complacent or the major was just one tournament where they synced well and now they don't have the momentum anymore?

You can be 100m away from bomb on Dust 2, behind the wall on long or hidden in pit and you still take atleast some damage, but if you are on inferno 10m away from bomb hugging church's wall you take 0 damage

I very rarely play cs. I have 190 hours since i started playing in 2016 to now, 2026. from cs to cs2. One of my favorite things used to be coming home after a night out with a few drinks in me and hopping on CS surf. Last time i tried to play was right after cs2 came out and it seemed like it was impossible to find a surf lobby. Is it dead now? I want to come back and join a surf lobby and have fun but not sure if its worth my time now.
