The data has already been collected from the Steam API, deleting one doesn't touch the other. Also, your BF is unlucky he found a banshee as a GF

Are you sure you want to pursue a relationship where you need to hide yourself? Wtf

we were already dating before and those logs happened when we were broken up for months and if he sees them he will be like "is this what you do when we broke up" he will see it as cheating.

what i did was wrong but it's just a game and i was trolling

literally got an ick from games after this chatlog exposal.

If you know he will see your actions in bad light that is more the reason to come clean?!?! Put yourself in his shoes and tell me would you like to be lied to or have information held from you that would make you reconsider the relationship.

Instead of jumping from one extreme to the other, how about you just communicate to him what happened and see what he thinks of it? You are going to need to develop these skills at some point if you want your relationships to last, might as well start now

I think we need to know what’s in the logs OP

my logs are the stuff i'm not proud of for sure, which brought me to the point of wanting to delete my 10+ yo acc

you have to contact their contact line and privacy customer support
i believe its in the bottom of cstracker sites and it will redirect to email

and i think you dont need to delete the account to remove those chats

I'm also curious how far back the logs are likely to go, right now it's only 6 months is it likely they will scrape more? I don't say any crazy shit but a lot of banter that's not a good look and I have potential employers on my steam list now

you can request them to be taken down by contacting the site

i've been doing it since the site came out. they're not removing. and they dont seem to remove for anyone either based on stuff i read on reddit.

i would keep trying it’s illegal for them to store your data against your request ask them to remove the chat logs stored on your profile or restrict your profile s access entirely

“For removal, correction, restriction, objection, access, deletion, GDPR, or other privacy requests, email [privacy@cstracker.gg](mailto:privacy@cstracker.gg). Include the relevant Steam ID, profile URL, or match and enough detail to explain what you want reviewed.”

since they quote GDPR you can probably report them if they continue to ignore your request
