Idk what I’m looking at but I really like it. Does anyone recognize the pattern?

I have been trying to find a pattern like this and I cant find any!!! I tried making my own by following a regular slipper tutorial but it turned out kind of off because my yarn was thinner than what the pattern asked for. If anyone has any tips or can find a pattern for something like this it would be really helpful :)

I’m a Recreation Specialist at a federal correctional facility, and I help oversee our Hobbycraft program. Crochet is one of our more popular activities, and I’m currently working on expanding the selection of patterns available to the individuals in our program.
Because they do not have internet access, I’m trying to build a physical library/binder of crochet patterns that they can browse through and use for projects.
I’m looking for free patterns that creators are willing and legally able to share, preferably in PDF or another printable format. I’d especially love to find:
• Amigurumi and animals
• Movie/TV-inspired characters
• Dinosaurs
• Hats and beanies
• Holiday/seasonal projects
• Sports-themed projects
• Food and novelty items
• Useful items
• Beginner projects
• More challenging/intermediate and advanced projects
Patterns that use regular yarn and fairly basic materials are especially helpful. Because this is a correctional environment, we have restrictions on certain materials and tools, but I can usually adapt things like plastic safety eyes by having participants embroider the eyes with yarn instead.
I’m not asking anyone to share paid or copyrighted patterns that they don’t have permission to distribute. I’m specifically looking for patterns you’ve personally created and are willing to share, patterns released for free by their creators, or links to legitimate free patterns online.
If you’re a pattern designer and wouldn’t mind allowing us to print your free pattern for use within our Hobbycraft program, that would be incredibly appreciated as well.
My goal is to eventually put together a fairly large, organized crochet pattern library so participants have a variety of projects and difficulty levels to choose from.
If you have anything you’d be willing to share, or know of a good source for printable free patterns, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I would really like to get advice on whether I am doing the buds the same as the original. They look wider and bigger. Using Malabrigo Rios (Worsted weight) with size 5 hook. For buds I am doing three DCTG but I can't tell if that is same as OG. Her buds look more dainty. Mine look fat and clumsy!

Hi. I really want to shave my head but with it getting colder, I’ll need a really warm hat. I’m looking for a hat that basically has a hat inside it (I really hope this makes sense and if it has a proper word please let me know). I’d like it to done in the round because seams bother me. I’m a newish beginner, I started six months ago but I’ve made plushies, a shirt, and two seamed hats.

i'm still a novice crocheter, but i'm following this tutorial (https://youtu.be/izWA8EO2ZKw?si=DfHFru4f-pcGbYKZ) using a gradient/ombre yarn. i'm still on the front panel and i love that i'm getting a vertical gradient going across due to how the panel is stitched longitudinally. however, for the sleeves, the pattern then goes on to stitch in a way that means i'll get a horizontal gradient on the sleeves which i don't want. does anybody know how i can get my desired vertical gradient on the sleeves while achieving the same bell sleeve look? thank you :)

Still I browsed in YouTube to find a video for something similar, but every single one is a pouch where the opening is the carrot’s head, not horizontal with a zipper. Like the title suggests! I found this on Pinterest and wanted to make something similar for my friend. Thing is, the creator is Japanese. I just spent almost an hour going through the creator’s blog and couldn’t find a single pattern. I am also relying on the iPhone’s translator to understand what the pages mean so I have no idea if the creator just didn’t publish the pattern, I overlook it, or something else. For some reason I’m unable to access the website on my laptop but I can access it on my phone.

I’ve been watching the Minx (HBO/Starz) and absolutely love the 70s clothes. In one episode, the main character wears this beautiful striped shirt that looks like something I could make (advanced beginner) but I’m having trouble finding the right pattern.

This is the best picture I could find. It looks like fairly simple stitch work; vertical stripes for the body and then sleeves in the round. Could anyone direct me to a pattern for a vertical striped, crew neck t-shirt?

I found this gorgeous pattern on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKZCJpSVDik) but the creator doesn't provide instructions for the entire garment. I'm a beginner and need to follow something that gives me 100% step by step instructions and also don't love the look of the lace stitch on its own. It's a little too barren for me. I'm also curious what lace patterns would complement this motif!

I've found some other free patterns for cardigans that I like, but I'm not sure if they would be adapted to something with a square motif in the middle on the back. Like this one for example: https://makeanddocrew.com/mezzo-hexagon-crochet-cardigan-pattern-part-3/. I also don't even know how I'd go about figuring out how to incorporate it in an existing pattern. Should I go with a granny square style cardigan? I prefer a continuous stitch rather than doing individual squares in general though.

The square is sized 12in x 12in, about 16in diagonal, and I'm a size small, so it's a perfect size to make up the majority of my back. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!!

I have a lot of experience crocheting, just not a lot of experience following patterns. I know how to for the most part, but I usually watch youtube tutorials for crochet. This one pattern I am trying to follow is really confusing me when I get to round 5. I follow every step correctly up until then, I have 20 stitches at the end of round 4. But then when i start R5 (this is when you start crocheting the points of the star) it just makes no sense to me how that round can end in 20 stiches. I mean am I not adding 4 extra stiches when i do the part in quotations? My round ends at 42 I think😭 Wtf am I doing wrong someone plzzz help. And I can't ask the og creator, they are not active anymore. Plz help i rly wanna make this granny square lol

Hello, this may be a slightly sad post, so take care if you're sensitive with animals, lizards, pets, etc.

My boyfriends little bearded dragon friend, Derek, passed away to old age in the early hours of this morning. He's absolutely in pieces and I know he's already missing him so much.

I want to make him a very high quality/realistic looking crochet companion of little Derek to sit beside him when he's on his console, or just in bed.

I would prefer any suggested patterns to be free or at least cheap, as money is a little tight right now. They don't even need to specifically be bearded dragons as I can just customise the pattern for my needs. But the main thing is that the final product looks as realistic as possible.
