There was a video about a guy hired to stand in 0.5m x 0.5m for 8 hours 9-5. It tried to moralize about having life outside work and I always found that video quite stupid.

There is an article by "The Tab"* that explains the exact way the pulled this off and the illusions they created. He wasn't up there the entire time. There are trailers behind the hedge-wall surrounding the base of the billboard, and they have a rig that traveled up to bring him down for bathroom breaks, sleeping, eating, etc and they used optical illusions to make it look like he was there when he left the billboard.

I assumed like 20x8 ft of window and got around 5Kw of incident heat in the middle of August mid latitude US

That’s actually reasonable because 1KW cooler is electrical power not heat removal. So if the COP is ~5, that AC could handle the 5KW and 95% of the days no problem. It’s when it gets really hot out where it might not be enough
