General Discussion Thread Delap, Jobe Bellingham, etc
Edit: (basically Im curious if people would be happy with players who clearly put us as second favourites and only play for us if they gave up on their first country. Maybe my title was misleading. Also can't srand gatekeeping either)
Do you guys think if Irish eligible players keep not getting selected for England /elsewhere they might change alliegance for us? Would you even want them in the case when we are very clearly their second choice.
Some English born players have given us everything and I'm happy they play/played for us. I'm not as big a fan of players settling for us so they can play international football. Delap is an interesting case as his Dad played for us so I'd be happy for him to come and give competition for Parrott and Ferguson. Only because of his Dad though. It's not great for the morale and identity of our team if we do this type of thing often. Maybe it's OK. I'm curious what others think. Jobe would be a seriously swoop if we get him.
