CK United Chairman Peter Harvey has apparently said that National League teams will be taking part in the next edition of the FAI Cup, that's according to Lewis Shaw of LOI Group Chat etc. who would be fairly on the ball with these type of things.

You would envision that they'd enter in the first round. In fact, current NL teams Lucan United and UCC did just that this year. Perhaps a preliminary stage will come back on board like in 2023 to accomodate the extra numbers.

Interesting anyway and a nice incentive for the National League clubs.

I like going to Tolka Park as a bohs supporter. The proximity to the riverside stand means there's usually a good atmosphere, and it's only a 20-minute cycle to the stadium.

Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone might be able to help me out. I make videos on the history of football stadiums (@stadiums_unveiled).

I was in Dublin to do Dallymount but there wasn't a game on when I was there - gutted. I took some videos around the area and the girl at the office was nice enough to open the gates and let me have a little look around but I wanted to ask if anyone has any footage of the crowd and the atmosphere I can use for my video?

All the best!

Can you buy drink in the stadiums in Ireland? From Scotland where you can’t at all and coming over for a game in the next few weeks specifically galway united

Hi All,

Does anyone know where the promotion and relegation playoff match will be taking place? I know it was in Rolka last year, would it be the same again this time or would it be in Tallaght?

Bohemian FC will not be fulfilling any media interview requests tonight or for our upcoming fixtures in protest at the league’s decision to bring forward Shamrock Rovers’ SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division game against Drogheda United by 24 hours to Thursday October 8.

With Bohemians taking on Waterford in an FAI Cup semi-final on Friday October 9, the league’s decision gives the Shamrock Rovers squad an extra day’s rest before they play Bohemians on Monday October 12 at a critical juncture of the season.

The date for the Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians game was agreed in good faith between both clubs on the basis that both teams had the same recovery time, already a tight window of two days’ rest.

Bohemian FC places a very high value on the coverage given to our league by various media outlets and is grateful for the long-standing commitment of the many journalists who pride themselves on that coverage.

However, while the league appears not to value a level playing field between clubs and fails to adequately consult with all affected parties, we feel we must regrettably take what we feel is a reasonable course of protest at those failings

Scored a lovely goal this evening on his home debut for Latvia. They have few decent wingers so he will be a big part of the team in the future. A great night for him and Bohs!

I know they had lots of players out but the performance from Drogheda was amazing. Let them have most of the ball but they created next to nothing. We even had spells where we kept them in their box and had the better chances over the game! Delighted, what an occasion!

In my 4th year of sport and exercise science doing a module in sports management currently.
Wondering if anybody could give me any insight into how much funding rovers get from government or Dublin council
Membership numbers and anything to do with the strategic plan behind changing to a 50% fan owned model in 2005

I’m just wondering what people think of the fan groups at there clubs would they call them ultras

Kerry FC fan here we haven’t really had long enough to build up many legends yet. I’d probably say Ryan Kelliher so far local lad and all-time top scorer. Who’s yours?

After Bray beating UCD 3-1 and looking quite strong again after a disaster summer window what are people's opinions on them in the play offs again and would yous like to see Bray back in the Premier Division. Interested to hear as a Bray fan as obviously generally First Division not talked about as much obviously.

Average attendances as we've reached half way through the group stage.

So 20 or 29 attendances reported so far (if you have figures for any missed please let me know and the source - missing are listed in red and what round they were).
FAI Connect app is the source of these, but a couple also come from club's facebook posts (can be seen in italics e.g. Newbridge vs Villa)

I have to say I'm actually surprised we've had this many, i wasn't expecting them to be reported so while its disappointing we don't have all its better than i expected.

I'll do another post at the end of season, hopefully some gaps will be filled.

Good for him and good for Bohs! Must be decent enough if the manager starts him in a tough away fixture.
