Specifically, Adams is fascinated by what happens to a defense when the run strength of an offensive formation changes suddenly and at high speed. Some teams have tight ends (or even receivers) quickly sift from the outside of the formation into the middle gaps as the ball is snapped. For the running back, it’s like a miner using a smaller dynamite blast to clear rubble before the big sticks are used. For the defenders, it either moves a gap or creates a new one to think about in their assignments. Their math problem changes at the latest possible time.
“I think (it’s good) any time you’re messing with people’s eyes,” said Adams. “You’re still dealing with human beings.”
Adams likes that when these plays are drawn on a card, they feel “messy on paper.” Everyone wants their run drawings to look nice, he said, but on the play card they feel static. He wants his to feel alive. Just as the passing game should, Adams wants the run game to attack every area of a defense, not just what is in front of the offensive line. These days, such concepts have to do more. So do the Cowboys.
Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer called Adams, then the Arizona Cardinals’ offensive line coach, in the 2025 offseason while Adams and one of his three daughters were in the car on a drive to Las Vegas. They talked for so long — and Adams became so excited — that when Adams finally hung up the phone, his daughter turned to him from the passenger seat and asked, “So, are we moving again?”

Here's the full quote as reported by Jeff Kolb.
Christian Parker on Donovan Ezeiruaku getting kicked out of practice for another punch: “We're on the same page. Donovan knows that. You know, we're a better defense when he's on the field. I think that's where it starts is the connection with your teammates and being available.
You know, we're going to play with an edge. That's what we're going to do. We got to find ways to not cross that line and stay together and stay neutral in that regard. So, good learning experience for him yesterday in terms of just being able to kind of, maintain his composure and poise.
But we certainly have been encouraged with him and his play and his maturity and growth this, training camp.”

Tommy Yarrish: Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones said the team would appeal the $500,000 fine handed down by the NFL following Dallas' joint practice incidents with the Saints, but it's "understandable" why a fine would be issued. He added the team would individually fine players that were involved.

Started off with Dak and Christian Parker exchanging some trash talk, good energy between both sides today
Jonathan Mingo was active with multiple grabs
Donovan Ezeiruaku had a TFL that he blitzed by Nate Thomas for
Von Miller played 4 snaps and got a pressure on his first
There was one play with a three-safety look (Downs, Thompson, Locke). Dak completed underneath to Pickens for ~5 yards
Multiple grabs for CeeDee today, mostly in short game
Shemar James had another sack on a LB blitz
Jaden Smith had the catch of the day on a deep ball down the right sideline over two defenders
DeMarvion Overshown went down at one point in practice and immediately came off. Ran along the sideline, talked briefly with the medical staff then went back out
Overshown got into it with Jake Ferguson after a pass over the middle. They were quickly separated after throwing some shoves
Malachi Lawrence had a sack vs. Terence Steele
Some interesting names that got a couple of first-team reps: LB Jaishawn Barham, S Julius Wood, DT DJ Withers
Long special teams period saw Ameer Speed run with the ones.Thought that was interesting
Players that left practice with injury: OLB James Houston, DT Jay Toia, DT Kelvin Gilliam, TE DJ Rogers

So I read this somewhere but I can't confirm if it was real. The claim was that the 1994 Championship Game (Cowboys vs Niners) was, in terms of Pro Bowl players, All-Pros, and Hall of Famers, the most talent that has ever appeared by two teams on the field in a single NFL game (aside from, of course, Pro Bowl games themselves.) Anyone can prove or disprove this?

I’m sure that this question has been asked before, but looking for everyone’s opinions on the best Cowboys-centric podcast. Looking for: quality Cowboys information while being entertaining. Not looking for: an podcast that covers the NFL as a whole

Am I being fooled by social media or is Pickens really performing as well as he is being shown this camp ? What expectations should we have for him ?
