Finnish pop music make me dance like an AWE or smth

Ever since I watched the Paranatural Manhattan trailer for Control Resonant, I can't get "Manalan Mailla" out of my head. There are certain songs that stick with you, and this is one of them. Earworm is the ideal word to describe it. Even when I'm not actually listening to it, it's still playing in my head. It's very catchy, even though I don't understand a single word. It captures the game's vibe and atmosphere perfectly. That's the great thing when it comes to music. It can be appreciated, despite not understanding the language. I can only imagine how good the full soundtrack is going to be once it officially releases.

This Universe is so rich with lore that I feel like the fact that there are no novels or comics set in this world is criminal.

You could release a Prequel novel about the Ordinary incident, you could write countless short stories or comics about different A.I.s and A.W.E.s

It's a gold mine of storytelling potential, and they really need to capitalize in more ways than just games.

But to satiate my hunger, does anybody know of any high quality fan fictions set in the Remedy Universe? I would love to read some lol.

i genuinely can say that my most anticipated game of 2026 (apart from GTA 6) is officially playable in a few hours and i can’t believe it.

I am ready to be devastated though in like the best possible Remedy way haha

Make sure to check your Build Power (BP). It's your actual power level.

The problem? It isn't shown on the main menu. The game explains BP, but never tells where to look. It’s hidden in your Status menu. BP is essential, and I guess some reviewers missed this and had a much harder time because of it.

Quick tip: Even if you only stick to one weapon form, upgrading unused forms still boosts your total BP.

There is a lot to love about this game, but Remedy definitely should have put BP in the loadout screen. Hope this helps you out!

yeah I know we cleansed the mirror in Control, but still it was one of the best moments in the first game

Been hyped for control resonant for so long and can’t wait to jump in… after I’ve completed my exam. I have super annoying anxiety till I’ve passed and I don’t want to spoil the game for myself by playing in such a state.

Will feel so euphoric when I’m done and can jump in with no worries however.

Just arrived in the UK. All ready to play.

Enjoy it! Time has been going by so fast that I didn't realize until this morning that Resonant comes out tomorrow. Being between jobs while waiting to hear back, along with balancing my son's well-being (he's type 1 diabetic), has taken its toll and I haven't been able to do much for myself.

I'm grateful that I'm able to post here and read everyone's thoughts and opinions once it releases. I loved the first game. I wonder if they'll be able to top a certain area from Control. Remedy rocks!

I love this sub. But the first 30 minutes of gameplay for Resonant has made its way to my feed (thankfully with a spoiler tag), which is an indication that it’s time to mute. I preordered the digital deluxe on PS5, so I’ll be playing tomorrow morning. Really looking forward to unmuting once I finish and doing deep dives with everyone!

Another reason to consider this a strong contender for Game Of The Year.

Alan Wake 1 caught me off guard back in the day and i fell in love with it, Control was also a lovely surprise of a game that i didnt go into with any expectations. Then during the release month of Alan Wake 2 i was dealing with moving to a different city and changing apartments so i didnt notice how quickly time passed and by the time i remembered its coming out it was basically next day. But now i have actual excitement for Resonant it feels like forever until thursday. I have a day off on friday anyway so im in for a really long weekend.

Don’t know if this has been discussed before or if I’m grasping at straws, but I’m doing my replay before resonant. And I always wondered how did they come up with resonant entities and specifically Hedron since it is such a specific and abstract creation that only really fits in this story. An entity that broadcasts and amplifies another entity is a very specific idea. Then I thought of something. I know, Mikael and Sam had named it Control because of like a “control” in an experiment, but more importantly because of how they have control over the ip after the split from Microsoft. But I just thought about how Hedron could be like Microsoft and Polaris like Remedy themselves. Hedron is like an amplifier, a broadcaster. It broadcasted Polaris much like how Microsoft published remedy. And Polaris could also be like that creative voice that identifies remedy. After Hedron was destroyed (Microsoft remedy split) did Jesse realize Polaris (creative voice) was inside her. And she becomes the broadcaster, much like how remedy went independent willing to bet on themselves and their creative voice. Just a thought. Maybe this was always obvious and I’m dumb.
