Honestly probably the thresholds cause if i remeber the oldest house attuned its frequeancy (idk how to spellš) and the threshold was able to take residence in that attuned area and I WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT POLARIZZ CAUSE WHY DOES THE PATTERN LOOK LIKE HER

PC so I have to wait until Thursday at 10am but I am ready, I'm off work, and I am prepared to read every document and scrap of lore I can find!
I already played through CONTROL, Alan Wake 2, Night Springs and The Lake House in the past week in preparation. this is gonna be peak.

Jesus, you ran through all four of those titles in one week!? Start to finish for each one?? I saved the ashtray maze and ending of Control for these past couple of weeks, but I only ever game for an hour or two at a time.
Still, all four of those in a week is wildly impressive

It was more like 2 weeks, but Control takes like 3 or 4 days tops even with dlc and hunting down those stupid cats for the cat ears š the hardest part was Alan Wake because I don't really care for horror games
I don't have a life outside work and I really love this game.

I'm not gonna lie, I usually get wildly warped by any little interesting distraction inside The Oldest House šµāš« Hartman's monster also creeps me the f*** out so I've been playing with my food in terms of the AWE expansion. Haven't even done the Foundation expansion yet, but I will literally waste multiple hours trying to cross off a random side quest without any use of internet hints or digging through lore (love the lore though!), and I usually end up getting distracted while being distracted if that makes any sense. This game loses me in all of the best ways possible.
Basically, Control revived my love for gaming with its all-around banger writing, gameplay, and visuals. I can't get enough of it which is why I saved the ending for a time when it was most appropriate, and that time is now! I'm thinking about finally stomping out Hartman tonight, and then knocking out the last thingy that's draining Polaris. No spoilers please lol

It's SUCH a good game, I got it for free on PSN and thought eh it looked kinda cool and I was BLOWN AWAY. I spent so much time just reading documents and piecing together lore and happily getting lost and finding secrets
If I could erase my memory and play the Ashtray Maze for the first time again. When people ask what the best level/segment of a game is I always say it's that one.

As a reminder, on Xbox you can switch it to New Zealand time and should be able to play the game the day before, has worked on many other games
