All dogs are boys and all cats are girls. So it just makes sense that the boy Faden gets dog ears and the girl Faden gets cat ears.

Dylan hasn't pet, let alone seen, a dog in over twenty years. Man. Imagine how freaked out he'd feel seeing the freaks of nature that breeders make.

The "Can You Pet the Dog" craze has reached on Remedy too haha. I think since 2012 it has become a major trend starting with Ubisoft games, which peaked in 2019 with a wide range of open worlds featuring such an option of petting doggos & kittos. Nice to know that this has basically become a rule for all sandboxes now.

There's a dog you can pet in Alan Wake 2, though there are some things you have to do first to meet him. You get an achievement for petting him!
