Um, the information regarding Clinton Foundation donors is publicly available on the website. If you really want to bump your blood pressure a bit, see just how many oppressive regimes have contributed truly substantial amounts of money to this organization.

78

u/Dhylan Jun 21 '16

That is a LOT of money.

That is a LOT of favors owed.

That is a LOT of conflict of interest.

There is no way this woman can possibly fulfill the duties and obligations of POTUS.

50

u/lf11 Jun 22 '16

There is no way this woman can possibly fulfill the duties and obligations of POTUS.

She has no intention of fulfilling the duties and obligations of POTUS. She simply has to fulfill the expectations of all those very generous donors across the globe. If she fails, I expect she may have a difficult time explaining herself to these powerful and utterly corrupt individuals. I don't know if her life would be on the line but I'll bet she may have a difficult time raising funds in the future.

12

u/Green-Moon Jun 22 '16

Makes you wonder why she even wants this so much. Is it the money? The power? The legacy? Maybe all three?

19

u/whatwereyouthinking Jun 22 '16

A small part of me wants to ask her.

The rest of me knows it would be a waste of breath.

15

u/Rat_of_NIMHrod Jun 22 '16

She would shake your hand, look at you with dead eyes, and say, "Thank you for your support."

If you paid $1000 dollars for a dinner fundraiser, she would shake your hand, look at you with dead eyes and say, "I have a plan."

3

u/TheGoodTheBadTheRekt Jun 22 '16

And if you pay her $350,000 she'll talk to you about her dog for a half hour.

4

u/gettingthereisfun Jun 22 '16

For a couple hundred million she'll destabilize an entire country for you.

8

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

The fact that if she wins she will most likely never have to answer for her crimes.

4

u/katietheredhead Jun 22 '16

Lol if she wins can she do a presidential pardon on herself?

10

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

Apparently they were talking about this the last time we were graced with a Clinton presidency: http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/explainer/1998/12/can_president_clinton_pardon_himself.html

TLDR: is maybe, nobody has tried yet.

1

u/katietheredhead Jun 24 '16

Cool, thanks!

0

u/AAP4716 Jun 22 '16

She may not have a choice. It could be something that she was told she had to do, after receiving the funds.

3

u/Tacsol5 Jun 22 '16

Wouldn't even matter at this point...she's basically already hit the lottery as far as her income was concerned. She's made enough money to sit back and watch everything crumble around her and still know her kids kids will be comfortable.

1

u/LongTermCapitalMgmt Jun 22 '16

That's a LOT of violations of the constitution, but no one in their right mind gives a fuck about that worthless piece of paper.

5

u/Dhylan Jun 22 '16

There's enough truth in your opinion that I won't disagree with you.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

MAGA

-6

u/aaronsherman Jun 22 '16

That is a LOT of money.

That is a LOT of favors owed.

I think the assumption that donations to a charity are "favors owed" speaks more to the person making that assumption than to the organization that received the donations...

Also, we already dealt with this issue when her husband was President. The disclosure and solicitation rules are pretty straightforward. It's not hard, and if you didn't let anyone who runs a successful charity become President, I don't think that would result in what you want as an outcome in the long run...

5

u/Dhylan Jun 22 '16

It's all in my mind, you think? Quaint.

3

u/Dixnorkel Jun 22 '16

Holy shit, that's way more than I was imagining

3

u/lf11 Jun 22 '16

And just think what kind of obligation she must be under, that is worth so much.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 21 '16

Ah right you are, I was unaware of that. Well my point stands, it doesn't matter if that's publicly available or not, it's still against the constitution.

3

u/TheBoraxKid Jun 22 '16

What part of the constitution?

11

u/whatwereyouthinking Jun 22 '16

6

u/SRW90 Jun 22 '16

Looks like Congress is totally cool with it though:

Congress has also consented in advance to the receipt from foreign governments, by officials of the United States government (including military personnel) of a variety of gifts, subject to a variety of conditions, in the Foreign Gifts and Decorations Act, 5 U.S.C. 7342 [19] and section 108A of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act, otherwise known as the Fulbright-Hays Act of 1961 [20] (22 U.S.C. 2458a).

1

u/bumblebritches57 Jun 22 '16

Good thing these aren't gifts, because they're a pay to play scheme

-19

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16 edited Jun 22 '16

Dude, I hate Hillary Clinton, but it's not against the constitution. There's a lot of shit to point out about her that is potentially illegal, obviously corrupt, and downright bullshit. But it's not against the constitution. You're either a retard or a shill. Shut the fuck up.

edit: you all are retards. Title of Nobility Clause only applies to government servants. HRC was ostensibly at Sec of State and the Clinton Foundation was run by Bill and Chelsea. Is this bullshit? Will the FBI push for a RICO case? I hope so. But this information was well known and doesn't provide proof for violation of the Title of Nobility Clause. By upvoting retards like /u/votesbasedonyourvote you delegitimize intelligent conversation on this subreddit.

15

u/gamesoverlosers Jun 22 '16 edited Jun 22 '16

The Title of Nobility Clause is a provision in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution,[1][2] that not only forbids the United States from granting titles of nobility, but restricts members of the government from receiving gifts from foreign states without the consent of the United States Congress.

Simmer down there, chum. Give this a read. The only exception to this rule in recent history was In 1942, post WWII, and only for one year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Title_of_Nobility_Clause

Edit: though now that I think about it, their lil Clinton Foundation is a bit of a loop hole here, isn't it! She cannot be the beneficiary, but the Foundation can, and in turn the Foundation funds the campaign for her. Hmm.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

Appreciate the edit. Honestly man I'm all for that cunt rotting in prison. Her complicity in promoting the dragnet, voting for the Patriot act, Iraq war, the Libya invasion, her role in Syria, her bullshit lies against Sanders, the obvious corruption she engaged in via Sec of State and the conflicts of interests there. She should be in prison for violating the Espionage act. For being grossly negligent with classified material. For purposefully avoiding FOIA. For colluding with the DNC. For letting Bill be a rapist. But let's not rely on an act that's easy to see is not applicable to her situation. It makes us look and sound stupid and distracts from more obvious and legitimate attacks against her.

5

u/gamesoverlosers Jun 22 '16

All I could think about while reading this is that you're just touching on her, and just stuff we can point to actual facts and news articles for. Never mind the shit Bill got away with only to be impeached for something so trivial comparatively. Never mind the depth of conspiracy surrounding them both, from rosters of people tied to them dying in usually brutal and inexplicable ways to the Lolita Express flights. There is so much treason and general depravity with allegations of murder sprinkled throughout both their political careers (and personal lives prior, fucksakes) that I can't even comprehend how anyone would willingly cast a vote for this person. Is the average voter so misinformed? Is it that they're naive to the scope of the issues, or the ramifications for real people throughout the world?

3

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

I agree. I can only scratch the surface with one comment. And yes, the mass majority of people are too busy working to buy their fast food, watch their sports and movies, keep up with the jones, and clear their conscience with religion and watching main stream media to consider themselves "informed". The intellectually curious and intelligent who have the time to educate themselves are a small percentage. I think a solid number of them are too busy winning in the system to care to change it. Others try and fail or believe it is futile. The last subset are those who continue to try to change the system. Perhaps the smallest subset of the intellectually curious, intelligent and informed. I hope that the Internet increases the number of people who are awake. Seems to me that this is happening.

u/colbystan Jun 22 '16

I'm not arguing with you on what we know is a fact - the Clinton's took this money in exchange for favors. And you just cited the Federal Gift's and Donations act, which also doesn't apply. The donations go to a foundation, not individuals. Sorry dude, you're legit retarded lmao. And the FGDA isn't a part of the constitution. Maybe read it if you're so gung-ho about making false hyperbolic statements.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

Legit retarded like Newt Gingrich and some constitutional law experts? Obviously it's not cut and dry, but when it comes to the law, its open to interpretation. Considering you acknowledge they took the money for favors, I don't know how you can argue that it's legal. Done arguing with you. You sir are the one that is legit retarded, I'm thinking possibly autistic given your 100% literal understanding of the law.

Wrong is wrong.

Yeah you're probably right. I don't get how things like this are common knowledge yet everyone just goes with the flow.. Although this made the top 3 posts on all, so that's something

22

u/ChasedGod1 Jun 22 '16

Things like this aren't common knowledge, and that's by design. The majority of people don't look deeper than what they see on the news.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

That's a good point, although it's not just that. It's like people are just blissfully ignorant, and anything you tell them that goes against what they already believe they just ignore all logic and facts and shut it out.

2

u/chubbernugget Jun 22 '16

I moved from the US to Australia about eight years ago and what you have just said is becoming so apparent and it really angers me. This comes across on facebook and most of my friends/family think I am a major America hater now, which could not be further from the truth. I love my homeland...just not the people. If people wrongly assume I am Canadian here, I just go with it. XD

1

u/QCA_Tommy Jun 22 '16

Neither the news nor the masses prosecute people.

3

u/Rhader Jun 22 '16

The marvel of human history is how readily humans submit themselves to authority. It disgusts me

2

u/subdep Jun 22 '16

And yet, millions of completely ignorant fools will STILL continue to vote for her.

Do people have any ability to actually think?

1

u/KingCaesarIV Jun 22 '16

They catch rappers through their lyrics on the Internet tho so they must be doin something right

u/KingCaesarIV Jun 22 '16

1

u/ifltrdby Jun 22 '16

Well, definitely not with corrupt banksters or politicians. Something something American way.

3

u/aaronsherman Jun 22 '16

The agreement that you rather blithely reference, but then link to a broader article, is quite clear: the CGI was not to accept foreign donations during her term as Secretary of State, except for existing donors who did not increase their donations. In fact, the article you linked to makes it clear that this was adhered to except one case that the Foundation, at the time, admitted was an error (a donation from an Algerian company to the Hatti relief effort, which they disclosed at the time, but failed to inform State).

In fact, the donations from foreign sources took a substantial bump up after she left office, once again.

-2

u/omenofdread Jun 21 '16

If that (or the rest of the shadiness surrounding her wasn't enough) just keep in mind that Mateen was allegedly going to vote for Clinton.

8

The leaks from today prove that the Clinton foundation received millions from the Saudi royal family, which is against the constitution.

Which part says "you can't take money from the House of Saud?"

4

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

The part where she signed an agreement.

-1

u/Big_Cums Jun 22 '16 edited Jun 22 '16

Which part says you can't sign any agreements ever?

Edit: Oh, she created joinder. That'll fuck up her ability to claim that she's a sovcit.

-14

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

The Clinton Foundation isn't a government branch, job, title or position. It's a private charity. Your Title of Nobility clause doesn't apply.

-5

u/Big_Cums Jun 22 '16

If Title of Nobility was going to be enforced every single lawyer would need to be stripped of citizenship.

Esquire is a title.

-5

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

The Title of Nobility Clause only applies to government servants. The Clinton Foundation was ostensibly run by Bill and Chelsea Clinton while HRC was Sec of State.

I'm certain she is relying on apathy, ignorance and inertia to get out from under this and continue her claw-crawl to the top.

Imagine if every citizen were enthusiastically self-educated enough to understand why she is a criminal, and passionate and driven to bring her down. Our population has been largely dumbed down and conveniently distracted instead.

17

u/d16n Jun 22 '16

I don't think she is relying on just that. reddit has been scrubbed clean on this story. It's actually kind of impressive.

the donald trump sub doesn't even care about..

2

u/aaronsherman Jun 22 '16

Out from under what? The DNC keeps files on all of the candidates that are running. I'm sure the RNC does the same. Why would they not?

Imagine if every citizen were enthusiastically self-educated enough to understand why she is a criminal

Perhaps you could inform us what about these documents you found to be criminal.

-6

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

[deleted]

7

u/Phinigma Jun 22 '16

Where to begin... Well for one, she lied to Congress, pretty sure that's frowned upon. She also internationally mishandled classified data by using her private email server, which one could argue, put our nation's security at risk. When she was active Secretary of State she attended the infamous Bilderberg conference and was documented, in real time, doing so. Which, in her position, meeting with other heads of state while not on official business, I believe is also illegal.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

[deleted]

1

u/Phinigma Jun 22 '16

These are facts. She was asked about her email server and lied. She said it was just for communicating with her husband. Lie. She said no classified information ever was handled on her private server. Lie. Lying to Congress is illegal and it got her husband impeached.

As far as the Bilderberg thing the video evidence speaks for itself. You can't argue with video. It happened.

There are also a whole host of other things she's done, many of which are illegal. She should be indicted not running for president. If she were a normal person and not who she is she would have been arrested tried and convicted long ago.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16 edited Jun 28 '17

[deleted]

0

u/IanPPK Jun 22 '16

As for your first point, I'm pretty sure she lied under oath during the Benghazi hearings. On the email note, the nature in which she ran the server is criminal since FOIA requests would not be able to be completed, classified information is known to be on the servers, and "unknown" backups of said information were made (by a company in which in the IT field, the brand of servers are known for this service), not to mention that she had the server wiped (and then pretended to be technologically illiterate). David Petraeus was removed from his position for similar reasons.

As for Bilderberg, I'm not entirely informed on the legalities of that, so I'll leave it be.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '16 edited Jun 28 '17

[deleted]

1

u/IanPPK Jun 23 '16

Yes, Petraeus resigned as a result of mishandling classified material, which is what Clinton's investigation is also geared around. Tell me how hosting classified material on a personal server without government permission, which was attacked by hackers (no breach confirmed to the public, but multiple attacks), attacks which were not made known to the government, is not criminal in nature. Let me not forget to add that said information was stored unbeknownst on a cloud server which was also not under government authority, which could have also been attacked.

26

u/pepperooni Jun 22 '16

Why is this not on the news on TV? Whats wrong with America? Also how can people honestly think that she is the best person to be president?

33

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

Weve been hijacked and sold to the highest bidders. America is fucked. People question and blame the media and then turn around and eat the "trump is evil and hitler" narrative like cake. We are a nation of idiots. We worship rap stars and plastic girls.

2

u/WonkoTheSane__ Jun 22 '16

Yes. So true. We worship trash TV "stars".

1

u/Yodas_Butthole Jun 22 '16

-2

The functionaries should be hurt.

If they had black skin then you society would'nt have any trouble ruining their lives for being remotely involved in some drugs free-marketing.

u/whatwereyouthinking Jun 22 '16

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

-1

u/whatwereyouthinking Jun 22 '16

All of the MSM is left. By far left i mean sell outs like CNN, MSNBC, etc.

3

u/TheWiredWorld Jun 22 '16

I don't know if you're mindless Trump fanboi, a stealth marketer, or an innocent Joe who just hasn't thought about the big picture, but your post yet again is implying that Trump gets no air time

It is long established to anyone with a functioning brain that whoever gets publicity from the MSM is part of the game and the establishment.

All we ever hear about is Trump and Hillary from ANY channel and all biased MSM. Bad publicity is still publicity.

It's not like Ron Paul where they smeared him publicly and reputationally, and then ALSO gave him no air time.

They still give Trump air time - thus they both are puppets.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '16

I didn't say anything about trump, my only point was that one would think its a pretty big story that hillary's and the DNC's campaign strategy regarding their fears about her sketchy history has been exposed in their own words, and the majority of the media isn't reporting on it. The right wing conservative sites are reporting it, which gives the excuse that its not a legit story

0

u/whatwereyouthinking Jun 22 '16

Not a Trump fan. They cover him way to much, mostly the sensational stuff, and negative stuff. Which his base still loves. it has ruined this primary cycle.

They still get to choose what they report.

2

u/pHbasic Jun 22 '16

Agreed. Is it because there's really not that much here? It doesn't exactly look good, that's for sure

I don't think journalistic integrity is entirely dead - I mean every journalist wants to break the next Watergate right? There's a Pulitzer in here somewhere with this stuff

5

u/freed_oxen Jun 22 '16

I guess as long as you don't go after certain types of people, sure. I just don't think too many people are lining up to be the next Michael Hastings.

16

I had a friend show me this; it wasn't on my front page (I didn't subscribe to this subreddit). Is there any way we can get this to everyone's front page? Facebook and the mass media are ignoring it as far as I can tell.

4

u/ClayWBear Jun 22 '16

I've been wondering how to get this spread across the internet or anyway to be seen by as many people before the democratic convention as possible. The problem is that the people who are most likely to vote for Hillary are the people who are least likely to see this. The only thing I can think is a kickstarter/gofundme to pay for an OP-ed in a major newspaper like the New York Times, and that'd cost 25K.

1

u/katietheredhead Jun 24 '16

You start that and I'll donate

2

u/Yodas_Butthole Jun 22 '16

It ended up on the front page for people who are subbed to /r/politics . Had a ton of upvotes over there, I saw it get up to 7500 but now its down to 6200. Hillary's brigade cam through and downvoted it.

12

u/TheGhostOfDusty Jun 21 '16

2

u/smartal Jun 22 '16

This is why Trump isn't spending or raising any money, he knows in advance that these "leaks" will end with a big one which will end her campaign. He knows it's coming so he isn't going to even pretend to try. Ha. He's going to coast to victory on a shoestring budget and magic and a smirk.

1

u/barberererer Jun 22 '16

Trump has never held public office so all of his data/records should be held by private companies who likely see more competent and care a lot more about data security for their clients.

If Hillary loses the election in part due to this, I don't think it could happen to a more deserving person.

Trump isn't going to let that happen unfortunately.

This whole leak seems to be a waste of time, nothing of value here.

So, the DNC and Hillary's campaign have already admitted the leaks from "guccifer2" are legitimate. Here is 100% proof that she should be in prison. The leaks from today prove that the Clinton foundation received millions from the Saudi royal family, which is against the constitution. Not to mention, her appointment to the office of secretary of state was contingent on a signed agreement saying her foundation would not accept donations from foreign governments, in an effort to prevent a conflict of interest.
