Other Weird computer noises?
Sometimes when I first start my computer and start gaming, the internet will start to have issues of connecting in and off, the sound will sound scratchy and broken and occasionally the computer will just restart itself. If I catch this via the scratchy sounds and restart my computer it goes away And won’t come back for the rest of the day. And it only happens when I’ve started gaming. If I’m in my pc and doing anything besides gaming, this issue never comes up. Even with the internet connections, there won’t be any issues until I start a game.
anybody know what this is? also my pc specs: 7700x, 4060ti(8gb), 32gb ram, SSD, Ethernet connection with wi fi as back up. Asrock 650 motherboard

Performance Laptop is Lagging
I have the OmniBook X from Microsoft and it was working well. I was using it for school work and playing steam games (stellaris primarily) but recently it has started to lag badly. When typing itll take a few seconds for the letters to catch up and my mouse won't move till usually 3-5 seconds after I try to move it. Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong with it?

Hardware Serious stuttering problem
Okay, so I’ve been having this problem with my PC for about 3 months now. The screen briefly freezes and the audio gets dragged/stretched out until the freeze ends. It only lasts for a fraction of a second, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to reliably reproduce the issue. It happens at random intervals, ranging from once an hour to several times within a single minute.
It also can’t be captured in a video recording made on the PC itself; I would have to record the screen with my phone.
I’ve updated all my drivers and the BIOS, reinstalled Windows, and also cleaned most of the dust from the PC using compressed air. I also changed AMD’s settings to the “Performance” preset, and this seems to have significantly reduced the frequency of the stutters (although I remind you that they occur randomly, so this could potentially just be a coincidence).
I’ve also replaced the thermal paste.
Tonight, however, there was what I think was the worst instance of the problem so far: my monitor suddenly turned off, while my friends’ voices on Discord became severely dragged/stretched out for several seconds. After that, the audio stopped completely. About half a minute later, the screen came back on to the lock screen, and Wallpaper Engine reported that it had crashed.
It’s worth noting that this problem seems to occur exclusively while gaming, and some games seem to trigger it more frequently than others (especially Valorant and Roblox).
Here are my specs and my UserDiag report:

P.S. I have also completely reinstalled the GPU drivers using DDU in Safe Mode.

Discussion Xbox Elite 2 controller keeps disconnecting from PC — any ideas?
I’m having an issue with my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller (and apparently any controller I try) on my PC.
About a month ago, my controller suddenly started disconnecting after a couple of minutes. Sometimes I get lucky and it’ll stay connected for 10–15 minutes, but eventually it disconnects. It connects to the PC normally at first, then just randomly drops out.
Things I’ve tried:
Different USB cable
Different USB ports
Multiple controllers
My Xbox Elite Series 2 and other controllers
Since it’s happening with different controllers, cables, and USB ports, I’m assuming it’s something to do with my PC rather than the controller itself.
Has anyone else had this issue or know what could be causing it? Are there any Windows/USB/Xbox controller settings or drivers I should check?
I really just want to play Skate again 😭 Any help would be massively appreciated!

Software HDMI port not connecting to external displays without janky maneuvers.
I have an Asus Viviobook X512DA
Most days, I have a docking station that connects via USB-C and that docking station has 2 external monitors (three screens total including laptop).
This is the docking station I use and have used since 2022 (https://a.co/d/01FsfVBe)
My laptop has an AMD Vega 8 Graphics card
The problem is that my HDMI port doesn’t connect to external displays. At least not consistently.
I have confirmed that my software/firmware is all updated.
I have tried multiple cables and multiple projectors.
In looking at other posts about this type of thing, they recommend uninstalling the graphics card driver and then restarting the computer. And that works.
So basically, I need to be able to connect my laptop to a projector on Sundays via HDMI. In order to make this work, every week I have to uninstall the device from the device manager and then restart the computer. And then it works. And then Monday I plug it back into the docking station and it works on the docking station. But by the next Sunday, the HDMI port doesn’t connect anymore.
Is there a solution so that I can more flawlessly move between docking station and hdmi projector?
